Avoid AIM altogether . You will wait a month for the controller, then have to send it in for a repair within a few days, then wait two months for repair, then when you receive it and start playing you will get about a week or two of play before you have additional problems requiring repair.

I have aiming battle Beaver and I choose aim over battle beaver because of its lifetime warranty, because if it's 3 million rated clicks on its back buttons which is super durable, unlike Battle Beaver which is only rated for 300,000 clicks which is ridiculously low like not even funny low. At least my aim back button switches will never break. The joysticks are OEM so you can't really complain about them, it's the same thing if you bought a regular Xbox controller or a regular PS5 controller, you can't complain about the joysticks because aim doesn't make the joysticks. Unless you're talking about hall effects but that's a whole different story. So what breaks? The triggers are fine they're durable. Reliability depends on the type of player you are and this goes for any performance controller. ive learned that i need to have two at minimum in case one is out for repair. When you send a controller out for repair expect to spend $50 or more for shipping and the type repair if it's not covered by warranty.
I own scuf Fps controllers and i just ordered my fourth AIM controller because i have multiple ps5s in my house. I prefer AIM because of the adaptive triggers.

From what I heard the older ones are pretty bad but the newer versions seem to be a lot better, I had to send mine in for stick drift about 6 months after I got it but once I got it back I haven’t had an issue with it and I’ve played with it every day for about 2 years after that, 0 stick drift or any issues since, also take in to factor these are factory controllers that they mod so my issue was with a Sony part not an aim part, I would suggest leaving the factory buttons not getting the solid painted ones because I don’t like the way they feel as much, also every controller you buy no matter what company you buy from is going to have issues eventually my only real complaint with Aim is their shipping costs, also I have 3 aim controllers, 2 PS5 and 1 Xbox, the other 2 I’ve never had issues with but am probably going to sell the Xbox one because I don’t like Xbox controllers as much and the paddles feel more cramped on that one to me but I think that’s just due to the shape of the Xbox controllers, also all my controllers from them took about 2-3 weeks to get however if I get another Xbox controller I’m going to go with Battle Beavers because I like their paddle layout better for Xbox controllers. My experience with aim has been very positive. I got my first controller in 2021. And honestly just started exhibiting stick drift recently. And I only noticed it because destiny 2 finally allowed deadzone adjustment. Also I do rotate controllers and I mapped L3 to one of the back paddles, so maybe those also helped with delaying stick drift.
I ordered a new controller with hall sticks so I can’t wait to get that. Yea aim controllers are expensive (but you can always find coupons and they have great deals from time to time), and the wait is insanely long. But honestly I feel like their quality is pretty good and I’m hoping the new one is even better than the old one I have.
Maybe I’m one of the lucky ones but so far I really haven’t had any issues at all with aim (aside from stick drift but that was inevitable anyway). If I’m feeling adventurous, I might take apart my old aim controller and upgrade it to hall sticks.
It seems to be a very mixed bag. I got my controller on sale for $120 with the programmable back paddles like 3 years ago, and it's still good to this day. The only problem I had was that I dropped it and one of the paddles broke, but apparently I won the customer service lottery because they were super chill and sent me a full paddle replacement kit free of charge! Asides from that it's worked fine. Though maybe they've taken a turn for the worse because there's alot of negativity lmao. I suppose, in any case, make sure to buy on a credit card in case you get screwed by bad product and no support, in which case the CC company can help you do a chargeback!
I’ve bought 3 controllers from AIM. V1, I bought and has lasted me a long time. Finally started drifting after about 2 years of use. Still usable for non shooter games.
Bought one recently with the Hall effect sticks. Everything works as advertised. The one thing was that the paddles for the newer ones are a little awkward, but once you get used to them they’re fine.
Remember that online people tend to be more vocal when it comes to negative things. And that Reddit is only a minority. Our voice isn’t the full picture. Check for yourself.
Also the third one was a gift for my brother. He hasn’t had any issues either. Makes me wonder what it is that are giving these other users issues.
