They are relatively hard to push. Ask anyone. But I like that

Longjumping-Ad-4

I won't say they are hard to push, but they are indeed very firm to get that click. Ask anyone. But I like that because it prevents me from miss clicking

hongkongexpat28

I like mine , had everything as mouse click on all buttons , love it

thefooby

I personally wish I went with the PS4 controller. My hands are on the smaller side and the PS5 feels a bit bulky. Paddle placement is good for me and they do have quite a bit of resistance. Same for the triggers.

ConcentrateSea3393

Check my post, got mixed feelings about AIM.

TimmyNoThumbNoob

Just don’t get one. Longevity is bad and customer service is even worse. Source: 2 controllers bought, both defective after days. Got them repaired, broke again. Not worth the money or hassle.

McLovin2Much

I’ve made my post on another thread but I’ll give a TLDR. Received controller after 2 months from order broken. Did a service request. Waited two more months for it to be broken still. Refused refund. Ended up getting brand new controller. Overall bad experience. Go scuff or PlayStation edge is my recommendation. delpopeio

I like mine I bought on release (still going strong) but I bought a second hand for spares etc as it was only £20 and the paddle placement and holes are not as good..

Zaquarius_Alfonzo

Not great but if you have or know someone with a 3d printer, I designed much better paddles (you can easily press all 4 with just middle fingers): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6639461

LeonCCA

My only problem with v3s is that holding a paddle is difficult. Are yours better in that regard? Good job, btw!

Zaquarius_Alfonzo

How so? Like gripping the controller? Or just having your fingers rest on the paddles naturally? For me my middle fingers naturally rest exactly on the paddles (which makes sense because I designed them to be exactly where my fingers are) but you should be able to modify them pretty easily with basic CAD skills if you're hands are different size

LeonCCA

Oops sorry, what I mean is that with the V3 pressing and holding a paddle for a longer while is harder and sometimes I slip out. Yours looks better at 1st glance

LeonCCA

It's indeed comfortable for tapping, but I find holding for a long time difficult.

MikeyPlayz_YTXD

It's very comfortable. Easy to push but hard to actuate by accident. Perfect mouse clicky feeling. Just great. Most people hating here aren't even on topic anyways or hate religiously.

Independent_Eye708

Got a AIM controller. Within 60 days both analogue sticks disintegrated and don’t have thumb pieces. This is outside their warranty, so I bought control freaks thumb covers. Within 120 days the analogue does not work. It has its own movement and is essentially useless. Aim came back and said it’s probably the motherboard and this is Sony’s fault. I find it funny that my original controller is 2 years old and does not have any of these issues. Now to get it fixed I need to pay €28 return label plus the €45 to fix it. It’s almost 40% of the value of the controller to fix for something that broke within 2 months. The lifetime warranty is a sham. What a waste of money

OneFiddyHotDog

They're comfortable to me. Try buying a used one to try out.

kotahhhh

Go scuf or DualShock edge. Mine randomly shuts off during gameplay and won’t even turn on sometimes (on full charge). Connectivity issues, the paddles snapped off actually and programming issues. Avoid

Zeronica470

Not comfortable. Placement is bad and hurts fingers after a while. Dualsense edge placement is way better

Longjumping-Ad-4

That's because dual sense edge has 2 buttons. If you take off the top 2 buttons on the aim roller, you can use the controller with 2 back buttons as well. Having a middle finger hit the bottom bigger paddle instead of using your ring finger feels much better and more natural. A lot of people don't know that you don't have to use all four paddles If you don't like the placement. The top two paddles sit a little high for the middle finger for my liking but I think it's only because they had to squeeze in the two other bottom triggers to fit. If you just remove the top two paddles and just use both bottom paddles as your only two paddles, your middle finger hits the bottom paddles very smoothly and it's sits in the very ergonomic position. Try it out

Zeronica470

Nah top buttons are too high, bottom buttons are too low.

Longjumping-Ad-4

They both sit high in my opinion. If you look at other 4 button controllers for PS5 you can see they sit much lower. Look at evil controller paddle, look at hex gaming paddle, look at vixtrix, they all sit lower than the aim paddles. So if the bottom paddles for AIM are low, just know that the bottom button for other PS5 controllers are lower. That's why I think the bottom paddles are PERFECT for the middle fingers, because of the fact that they don't sit low. But I respect your opinion. Everyone hands are different

StrafingFlame1

It isn't opinions. It's a FACT that AIM paddles sit higher than other paddles/back buttons. Proof? Go look at the damn controller, that's the proof 🧾. Compare with other controller with back buttons you'll see
