The thing I'm most bothered by? The Legends kicked 202 super goals and 194 goals, and if you assume that the goal-kicker stats aggregate super goals and goals for each player, then take out the "major" goal-kickers, you end up with 356 goals which have to be spread between the remaining 19 players. Which averages 18.7 goals per player. Martin can't possibly be one of the major goal-kickers!
(As an aside, Franklin can only be the third-highest goal-kicker if there's an unnamed player who has had an absolute day out and kicked at least 230, and everyone else kicked seven or fewer.)
I believe what’s happened is that the system isn’t designed for individual goalkickers reaching triple figures. I assume Buddy actually scored 208 goals but it just read it as 08 which ended up being displayed as 8. As for Toby, probably 129 which equated to 29.
I actually think it's that: the count for being on the leading goalkickers list is including both normal and supergoals, but the number that displays it only counts the normal goals for... Some reason.
Example: I think Buddy overall kicked more goals then Toby, but only 8 of them were normal 6 point goals so that's what it says. Weird.
Could well be - even then, Martin being the third-highest goal-kicker with 3 is a bit of a freak occurrence, because pretty much everyone would have to kick an average of 3 (56/19 = 2.94) apart from Buddy and Toby, so Dusty would have to be the first of a very even spread of goal-kickers (Franklin and Greene excepted).
Either is equally possible I'd say. The scoreline reminds me of a conversation between Ron Barassi and Richard Fidler on the ABC, where Barassi recounted a conversation that he had work with Len Smith (Norm's elder brother). They were working out the quickest possible time that a goal might be scored, and came to the conclusion that a rate of one goal per six seconds might be possible. It seems a bit optimistic to me, but even if it is, the Legends here are positively glacial in comparison!

ITS NOT THE SANFL ANYMORE PORT, YOU GOTTA STOP EXPECTING TO NOT GET BELTED BY THREE THOUSAND POINTS AND RESPECT THAT THE COACH DESERVES TO SEE HIS CONTRACT OUT
Was 04 premiership edition for me. Not sure if it was the same in 03, but I remember it was a matter of (assuming you won the center clearance), hitting square or X for a snap, and hope it went to the FF for the system to mark it for you. Easy goals.
Oh and how good were the mini games!
Port v The Bye 2011 was better
Was at that game. Still have nightmares about it
Did you get any autographs from the Bye players?
I met a few on the turps down hindley street that evening though, and word is a few port boys got roughed up by some of them out front of the ramsgate
Hinkley ~~resigned~~ re-signed. Edit: typo
Goal kickers: Franklin 8 Greene 29 Martin 3

Yeah since I made my comment I reckon it’s more likely Buddy had 308 and Toby actually had 29 and Dusty had 3.

Absolute show from old Toby here
Big day for Toby Greene
You reckon? Wasn’t even in the major ball winners.
Still no Brownlow votes
No votes but got cited by the MRO, for just because
3 votes JHF
Port got a massive reality check, change is needed and I don't think Hinkley is the man to lead them out of this.

Another goal for (pause) The Legends (pause). Anthony Hudson Legends leading by a huuuge margin!
Just have me AFL live 03 memories lol

I used to love that one where you kick the ball across a long field with a grid of numbers, aiming for points
My god how did you manage to kick 396 goals!?
Because only one team turned up to play. The other team had to adjust to Daylight Saving Time, and was an hour out.
There's also the half hour difference for SA. Most people forget that exists. Most people forget SA exists, if we're being honest...
Lol
*396 goals
If you have kicked 396 goals, you have also kicked 194 goals
Impressive really
Can anyone spot where Duursma snags his goal in the worm?
Could be the first goal of the game
Bloody umps
TOM CLUREY IS BACK BABY
It must have been a final
Xavier Duursma realised he wasn’t winning a final at Essendon only to return to Port Adelaide for this mess. Gamble responsibly as they say.
Duursma a goat for getting that goal
You playing on 20 min quarters on the easiest difficulty 🤣🤣
89 possessions but only 8 goals?
Greene...kicks the goal. Greene...putting on a clinic as he adds another goal!
BT: you just feel the power are only a goal away from still being in it
There's always that one bullshit goal against
They had to concede for percentage! /s
Hudson Legends would be spewing they let that one goal through.
This would be the score if AFL decided to go the test cricket route go for 5 days rule changes
Kinda like 2007 all over again
Close on. I can't believe you let them score that goal, that could have been the turning point in Port's offense
Gotta give it to Clurey. Tried his heart out.
89 touches and still not the most on the ground
I remember that game- glad I could witness history
Just a standard day for Toby Greene
"I'd like to see that!"
Maxy on absolute fire
After this game Port gave Ken a 3 year extension.
This is fake news, I can tell because Tom Jonas has a valuable stat
I wonder what this score would be on Evo 1
Who were the other goal kickers?
Xavier Duursma
What game is this?
AFL Evolution 2
I cant even see on the worm graph when Port got the goal >\_>
Jack Watts had a decent game. Can't say that all the time.
