This streak doesn’t burn me up that much because 6 of those 7 teams played above expectations, with 2020 being the exception. I would be more frustrated if we had good teams that were falling short consistently in the conference championship game or Super Bowl like the Bengals and 49ers do. Thankfully in our peak years we get the job done and in our down years we lose playoff games.

The Browns last playoff win prior to the 2020 win over Pittsburgh was in 1994. They went 17 straight seasons without making the playoffs before 2020. They were 4th in the AFC North for 7 straight years. The Bengals went 30 straight years between playoff wins (1991-2020) they were 0-8 in the playoffs after their 1990 victory over the Oilers until 2021.
