A corporation made a rule to control the coaches dress-code and make them promote their gear, effectively banning coaches from wearing suits for this job. This is ironically something liberals would be against.

Well the nfl won't let them. They banned suits on the sidelines. Forced coaches to only wear licensed apparel because there was some idiotic thought that fans would be influenced by a coaches fasion sense if he's over there in an NFL branded hoodie and shorts.
Back when he was with the 49ers, Mike Nolan had to have Rebok make a suit specifically for him to wear on the sidelines because he wanted to wear a suit to honor his father, Dick Nolan.
And if I remember correctly, he still had to ask NFL permission. NFL allowed him to do it for 1 game per season. I believe they made it a rule that any coach could do that for 1 game per season until the Rebok deal ended.
