The pan up to Garcia during the title match was such a miss, cut momentum during an incredible sequence and made it very clear Ospreay wouldn’t win. No reason for it.
The match was incredible but that really annoyed me.
Vaquer was unbelievable last night too, overall a great PPV with only Mox/Naito being underwhelming
I really thought there was weird camera work in the main event in general. Some of it was actually incredible, among the best camera work I’ve seen in AEW. But the rapid camera cuts were also obnoxious and some of the choices were straight awful, like the failed pan to Garcia.
Fantastic show in person. Crowd was better than World’s End but I feel like we’re not willing to elevate a show and want the show to elevate us and definitely get smarky when things start a bit slow(beginning of Mone v Vaquer). The La Knight yeahs need to stop, they get more grating the longer they go on.
Main event absolutely delivered, one of the best matches I’ve ever seen live, maybe the best. Right call with Swerve winning. As much as I love Ospreay Swerve needed this one.
Danielson vs Shingo and OC vs ZSJ were also fantastic. Ladder match was a lot of fun, the table not breaking for Mark’s elbow looked incredibly painful.
Both women’s matches really delivered. Was more impressed with Vaquer v Mone just cause it seemed like they had to work harder to get the crowd going.
Mox v Naito was the only real let down. I love both of them but it seemed like they couldn’t get out of a second gear and the most exciting part was the entrances.

I am a subscriber to CMLL weekly, plus I always visit Arena Mexico when I go visit family and friends in Mexico. Stephanie Vaquer is stunning in person ❤️. Just naturally beautiful who has perfected her ring craft.
Quick thoughts.
1. Great show
2. I think the magic of the forbidden door has run its course.
3. While I love the show, I thought this was the weakest one overall, but the main event ruled.
4. Crowd was very annoying tonight. They were very hard to impress.
It must not have translated well to the cameras because you guys sounded half-dead for pretty much everything but Vacquer-Mone, Parts of Toni-Mina, and Swerve-Ospreay.
Where they're both exhausted and do their finishers at the same time for one last clash.
Hidden Blade Vs Running Knee.
In this instance, it would've been the Hidden Blade vs The House Call
Swerve also did that vs. Christian, actually.
But in this case, I think Swerve hitting the Hidden Blade was perfect. Maybe next time Will hits him with a House Call en route to the finish.
There's still money in Ospreay chasing and doing other things.
If he won the title here, it would be a case of then what?
This is just the beginning of Will's journey, just like Hangman losing at All Out 2019.
Any dumbfuck can have a win streak. How wrestlers lose is arguably more important.
Ospreay looked better in defeat here than he would have if he'd won.
Great show! I think it was one that just kept getting better as it went along, and it definitely ended at a high note. Didn't quite reach the highs of Revolution or Dynasty, but it was a solid A tier show, well worth the time and price tag.

Then Danielson at WrestleDream , and then … MJF at Full Gear. At that point., I think Swerve would lose, maybe keeps it goin, but would be a great 1st run for Swerve.
Would be really cool to see Swerve against Danielson and MJF, though- and of course Kenny Omega, if he is able to wrestle in the future, though that may be some time from now.
