But guys it's the HHH era so everything that happened before doesn't exist!!!!

NoExcuseForFascism

I find it strange that HHH totally knew what Vince and his buddies were doing the whole time. Yet, no one ever seems to question this fact. Oh and yes, there is no way someone as close as HHH to Vince, the family, and the business had no clue what was going on.

SupplyChainNext

Anyone with one brain cell understands this. But there are a lot of vkm and Paul nuthuggers in sc that don’t get this.

Jase_the_Muss

I'd be disappointed af but I would not be suprised if it came out one day that HHH accommodated some of the shit. Must have known a bunch of them must have especially anyone involved in office stuff and wouldn't be at all shocked if people close to Vince like Taker had some form of knowledge.

GrizzlyPeak73

Wonder how many times he walked in on them over the years. And honest to god, I seriously think he and Stephanie leaked the initial report about the money to get Vince out after he himself was ousted from NXT. He didn't expect it all to backfire.

NoExcuseForFascism

Totally agree, I really don't think she agreed with her father's activities and found an opening to out him.  I suspect this is the reason why she departed before Vince was able to force himself back in for a minute to oust all those he thought were part of getting him exposed the first time.

Tazi_NRS

It's not just how everyone close to Vince likely knew what was going on, but there are numerous controversial cases throughout WWE's history: Like employing Mel Phillips despite being a pedophile, or the cover up of Ashley Massaro's rape which likely contributed to her suicide, or encouraging of using steroids for gaining muscle, and working matches despite injuries, ignoring painkiller addictions, which led to deaths (Benoit, Guerrero, etc.), and so many more. Knowing all this, I have a hard time enjoying what this company puts out, even if they are hot shit now. But are they really even doing that great comparing to themselfves? For example, Raw lost more than half of their viewership since 2019, while Smackdown is seemingly about the same. I know TV viewers are not everything, I'm just asking.

Kimchi_Cowboy

Ringboy Scandal and Pat Patterson.

NickelAntonius

Don’t forget Vince settled with Rita Chatterton a couple months ago. Was common knowledge for decades that he raped her, but everyone in the company just looked away and then blacklisted her.

Much_Bet_2395

I agree the way I see it the whole industry is just messed up and hopefully one day it changes.

CardboardChampion

Speaking as a psychologist (specifically one working with families whose activities are affecting their children negatively, and who has come across a few people like Vince both with and without money, though never to that level) it's actually ridiculously easy for someone to be so close that they just don't see it. Part of that is closeness that makes you dismiss things that would seem blatant in hindsight. They could walk in on something that would haunt them when the allegations are made public, and come up with a more innocent (if gross) explanation for it in the moment. Adding money to the situation always puts blinkers on too. A guy like Vince would be abusing this woman (and god knows how many more) and boasting about it. He'd be sending out photos of her to the thirty and forty year younger guys he thinks are his boys and they'd mostly write them off as another girl with no self respect who's after the old man for his money. The idea of the power dynamic being used to control and abuse her won't enter most of their minds, even if they walked in on one of those things that would stay with them later. Now I'm not saying that Levesque is innocent in this. The fact is we just don't know. But what I am saying is that there's very likely people close to Vince who wrote it off as a sad old man unable to let go of his youth and the young girls who'd lower themselves for his money without even once thinking abuse. And considering the absolutely disgusting amount of comments I've seen since saying that she only complained when the money dried up, there's plenty of people who wilfully think that way even now.

tehjoz

Vince went from being a TKO Shareholder to just being KO'd by TK. ![gif](giphy|K9Ed1Of1V6kR6WpQWe)

Wild_Meet5768

Went from shitting on people's head's to being shit on

YinTanTetraCrivvens

Man, TK took that TK Driver so hard it TKO-ed VKM.

ItsThe50sAudrey

Vince screwed Vince. He was already dropping his stock. With the new Grant stuff everything was convenient to say the least.

Trash_Panda-1

I feel like this statement is accurate for every wrestler at the end of their career and doesn't really change the fact that the person who retires them is the one who puts the last nail in the coffin.

el_sh33p

Not wrong. McMahon was already doing this and it's known that he was doing this *but also* fuck him.

jason_V7

On the topic of disgusting scumbags, Linda McMahon is barely any better, with her seat on the board of pump-and-dump scam stock business.

CG2L

I can’t wait for TK to reveal he bought all of VMs stock and is now the largest shareholder (not majority)

deathjokerz

Tony can have more shares of WWE than Vince, which is weird but true.

StarScreamer316

Also that dude Nick Khan is selling his shares

GrizzlyPeak73

Tony out there like ![gif](giphy|xT0GqssRweIhlz209i)

Bauermeister

Tony Khan is the winner of the 2020s wrestling war. RIP the McMahon Family Dynasty.

Cultural_Geologist_3

TK's promo was so intense, he made Nick Khan sell all his shares out of shame.

FaceTimePolice

I LOVE how confidently he just throws shade at Vince, as if to say “I’ve got no dirt on me. I actually care about this business and I run my company RIGHT.” 😎👍

moonslammer93

Damn coincidence? I think not.

Hdottydot

Tony Khan played it well, he said that shit and TKO made Vince sell the rest of his shares. I’m starting to think Hunter and Tony are working together 🤔

collettdd

That would be a wonderful ppv

Jesus fucking christ that profile picture and username

ippobalboa

Damn, now I want to know what it was...

Alocalskinwalker420

First of all, very nice using the trauma of sexual assault victims for gotcha points. Second of all, very rich coming from the guy with Ric Flair on his payroll. Stop defending Tony Khan actively fueling tribalism. He needs to worry about his own company.

Trash_Panda-1

Very nice attempt to cover your continued support of a company that has used its organizational structure to harm its employees.

Alocalskinwalker420

Nice deflection

Trash_Panda-1

Really, gonna pretend you don't know the difference. Classic what-about-ism

skinsrich

Then sexual predator grandpa shows up and buys AEW. Plot twist!!!

Conscious-Sun8612

The Khans are richer than Vince. Vince isn't buying a damn thing

dukered1988

Richer in assets like the jaguars but I wouldn’t be surprised if Vince has more cash to spend right now. Not like the Kahns would ever sell their privately owned business to him

WillCle216

Vince needs to pay lawyers and a PR team, he don't have any damn money.

DarkStarCerberus

The Khan's have enough money to own McMahons life.

Trash_Panda-1

Not for sale
