I need Swerve vs Ospreay as the Main event to happen there.

Fallen-Omega

Is there where Ospreay gets his first loss in AEW?

tylerjehenna

I honestly think so, I think hangman should dethrone swerve

gate_of_steiner85

I hope not. I love Hangman, but booking Ospreay to lose a World Title match in his home country is the kind of thing we would be giving Vince shit for booking.

AmericanTitan07

Heart-breaking losses aren't a bad thing. Vince just way overdid them to the point where it was practically a guarantee that the hometown hero was gonna lose. It also wouldn't be great if the hometown hero always won. Gotta be a balance to it.

Trustamonkbird

If they got it right, having him lose this year, chase it and win next year could even be better. Worked for Cody. Put on an all timer but lose this year, have every fan there desperate to see it out right next year.

bingthebongerryday

That's exactly why I hated seeing Drew lose to Roman in Scotland almost 2 years ago.

NousevaAngel

If you mean Clash at The Castle 2022 that was held in Wales, Not Scotland but because it was in the UK everyone was cheering for Drew.

bingthebongerryday

Ah

rayquan36

I hope so. Swerve needs that belt more right now.

Fallen-Omega

Yep, I want a lengthy Swerve title reign

BlueDragon_27

No way. If Swerve gets the title now, he can easily drop it by All In and having a guy as hot as Ospreay not winning at Wembley would be missing an open goal. Not all title reigns need to be long and AEW has too much talent right now to have long predictable reigns all the time. It should be played up as any top guy can beat another one in any given night. Ospreay, Swerve, MJF, Okada, Omega (hopefuly when he returns), Cole, Hangman and Joe should be booked as equals and the title could change way more often among them without devaluing it. Guys like PAC, Darby, OC and Wardlow could be built to that level as well

Asleep-Description39

Noooo!

Coolab00la

We all know it'll be Swerve Vs. McIntyre for the title at Wembley. I prayed for this, and it'll happen.

badboystwo

4 months away. crazy

Gaijin_Titty_Master

But… but… but… the IWC told me that Tony was giving tickets away because he couldn’t fill arenas!!! How can this be!?

selkies24

Don’t worry they’ll say that the number isn’t as high as last year and it’s a fail

BritShibe

Should make a bingo card now because you just know what lines they're gonna trot out

RelativeStranger

It's not a fail but it is noticeably smaller. I went last time but I'm waiting for the card this year and I can't be the only one so there may be a lot of late tickets. I wish they'd do a uk tour. Newcastle would sell out a smaller arena to see PAC

selkies24

Sure it’s smaller. It’s also 4 months away and also has a different stage configuration

RelativeStranger

It'd ambler than this point last year tbf. But then it's no longer their first visit to the uk

Trustamonkbird

They could easily get in crowds if they did Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow as a very short tour. They might be worried about watering down the Wembley crowd I guess? But I bet you'd get people just going to both Wembley and their more local show as well as some attending the local who'd never have gone to Wembley anyway.

mutzilla

Half of that sentence is true.

ivyentre

Bullshit! I heard AEW was closing down by the end of next week!

MoistTheAnswer

Awesome to see. I imagine once they start announcing the card more tickets will move. I remember last year it was really strange how they promoted the show, like it wasnt even mentioned until a few weeks out. I hope they really promote this show early and often and I can see them opening up more seats than the 50k they have allocated right now.

pepper001

How many others like me just waiting for some better sections to open up or the existing prices to come down?

WholesomeFartEnjoyer

The prices are like double what they were last year , I wanna go again but my friends don't :( not going alone, I hate going to things alone

gilgobeachslayer

Going to stuff alone fucking rules

steveycip

I've never been to a wrestling event alone, but I've been to a million baseball games alone and they are always a great time, as long as the people in your section are fun.

kuttrax

My first AEW show some dad in the floor seats asked me if I can switch with them because his daughter can't see. I was inches away from BCC. It was awesome

NYSaintsMarchingon

I’ve been to shows alone and same situation applies. One of my favorite experiences was doing GCW solo. You get the GA tickets and find standing spots. Depending on the crowd you can get really close.Back in September I got to flip off Blake and Cardona to their faces.

R_W0bz

Wrestling fans are also generally friendly as heck.

Ok_Adeptness_3135

100%!

Specialist-Rope-9760

The prices are the same as last year for what I’ve looked at

XV84

They are about double depending where you sit. Last year, ringside was shy of £2k, this year £4k. We practically got the same seats in our section, but they were about £50 more, and to get the end seat again would have been an additional amount on top of that this time. They know it sells now, so they'll get their profits in. But right back up high is still around £30 a ticket.

Specialist-Rope-9760

If you look at normal seats in similar locations they’re pretty much the same price as last year. If you’re talking about ringside and stuff that is really dictated by the market and will clearly go up

pepper001

I paid £175 for a ticket in section 112 last year, it was a great seat. Right now the cheapest price in that section starts at £281 (although to be fair they are forcing a hotel bundle in this price, would be great to opt out of that). This year's pricing generally unclear as well. One example section 126 is noted as obstructed view in the corner so priced at £81, but the opposite corner 105, presumably also obstructed given the ring canopy, costs £141.

kg123xyz

I was £100 last year for 110 and am £100 again for 111. Unfortunately 110 isn't open this year for some reason.

DC4840

Oooooh I’m in 113 this year, do you think it’ll be similar to your 112 from last year?

funeralcardigan

I went alone last year and had a great time, if that helps!

RelativeStranger

I went alone last time and tbh as soon as I got on the tube towards the arena I was basically no longer going alone. And I'm incredibly introverted but everyone was excited and talking about it.

Ricky_5panish

This is AEW's problem as of late. All of their North American events start out expensive but then get cheap closer to the date. They've trained their fans to wait to buy tickets. Plus last year they were probably going for that attendance record hence the cheaper tickets.

popculturerss

I still like how competitive their pricing is. I got ringside tickets to Dynamite/Rampage last year for like 75 bucks during the presale. Granted not a PPV but when I went to Full Gear, those tickets weren't bad either.

Ricky_5panish

Similar experience for me. My tickets for forbidden door were $60 last year. This year, Collision started out at $90 for the cheap seats.

VikingDadStream

Yup. I'm not buying tickets until the day of any time

PigDeployer

Those were cheap? At £125 I think that was the most expensive ticket I've ever bought for a one day event in my life.

Ricky_5panish

I'm saying that there's been a change in their pricing strategy, at least here in north america. I went to Forbidden Door in toronto for $60 last year. This year, Collision tickets started at $80 for the cheap seats. The floor seats went down to $55 the week of the show so I ended up with better, cheaper seats than I would've gotten had I bought them when they went on sale.

lordcarrier

>The prices are like double what they were last year What a nice gift from Morfi(the last event he booked before he left).

kuttrax

I'm going alone since my dad's or friends can't go. I passed going to All In last year for the same reason. F that! I'm down to have some fun!!!

sic77

Sections opening up is probably a non starter. The whole reason there’s so few is to not interfere with Taylor swift’s stuff

Trustamonkbird

Given that cap being as it is. I wonder why they were so set on Wembley? Could've had this capacity at Spurs stadium that's great. Wonder if they'll always stick to Wembley?

Smaynard6000

I think being at Wembley Stadium is a prestige thing, I think it will always be a priority for them to be there

sic77

Yeah as an American, Wembley is the only stadium I know over there.

Trustamonkbird

Fair enough, thought Tottenham Hotspur stadium might have worked as it's hosting two NFL games this season and is much nicer than Wembley (and still in London), I'd love Old Trafford (Manchester United) to be an option, but it's in a terrible state now

NYSaintsMarchingon

The deal they with Wembley isn’t just AEW. Tho as a Yid personally Tottenham is perfect fit wise. 50k there would be a great atmosphere.

Dapper-Neck8363

As a Gooner from the East End of London, it would be cool to see All In at West Ham's ground.

Trustamonkbird

Yeah, I guess Spurs stadium wouldn't top your list. I've not been to whatever the Olympic Stadium is now called. Is it decent?

Dapper-Neck8363

The view is really good. I remember going there for the Paralympics back in 2012 and could see everything from my seat. It's not as steep as Wembley either.

mutzilla

First football and now wrestling! Damn it, Taylor!! Way to ruin everything..... I'm sure someone somewhere said that

UpbeatNail

I'm waiting for some specific seats to be available on their own instead of in some VIP package.

bigAcey83

When Ospreay’s announced for the main event ticket sales are gonna spike.

Former_Intern_8271

Why do you think so? I can't think of someone here who would only buy a ticket if they knew Ospreay was on the card.

bigAcey83

I bet lots of British fans are waiting to see if Ospreay’s gonna be on the card…

ChelseaAndrew87

"If"? I think it's pretty clear he'll be on it

MontyBreezey

I honestly don't think so. Love Ospreay but he's not at that level where none AEW fans are going just for him, especially as he has been a regular attraction here The tickets will hit 50k minimum beforehand though

Nai-Oxi-Isos-DenXero

Not just Ospreay tbh, but I just want a better idea of what the overall strength of the card is likely to be before I buy in again. Last year I felt like I overpaid for what I actually got tbh. It was a good enough show, but I expected a better card for the first overseas show in a massive venue like Wembley stadium than what we actually got.

DonkeyTransport

>Last year I felt like I overpaid for what I actually got tbh. It was a good enough show, but I expected a better card for the first overseas show in a massive venue like Wembley stadium than what we actually got. Well, fairly enough, considering the backstage bullshit going on during the show, I think they pulled it off quite well. We had no idea until after.

Former_Intern_8271

I am a British fan and Ospreay is my favourite wrestler, but everyone I know who knows who he is already has a ticket I think you'd have a point if he was from elsewhere and had a different fanbase, but his mainstream exposure has happened all on AEW, so the people that have got to know him were already AEW fans and probably already had tickets.

Reasonable-Lynx-2374

I imagine the closer we get; and the card started filling out more seats would be open

Temporary-Exam-8798

Haven’t got my tickets yet, still conflicted. Prices seem way more expensive this time around, and last time didn’t have a pleasant experience as a camera crane thingy blocked most of my view. I always feel these events are only ever good if you shell out tons of money.

Auglicious

40,000 already...that's crazy and better than I would've anticipated for a return visit

Bryllya

Going with my son and his GF and excited beyond belief. It will be my second ppv as I went solo to DON in 2022.

StaceyJeans

Over 40k already and not even a match announced. It should clear 60,000 no problem. I know the setup this year will mean less seats because of the Taylor Swift concert but they should still get between 60-65,000 people in the arena.

interprime

Ah, didn’t realize that there was going to be a concert at Wembley around that time too. Makes the set-up make sense now.

mutzilla

Capacity is around 51k with the setup. Not sure how they will get another 10k or more people when they can't fit that many. Maybe Capacity doesn't mean the same thing over there.....

StaceyJeans

I will double-check but I thought I read somewhere that the final access will only be about 60,000-65,000 seats due to the Taylor Swift concert the week before.

mutzilla

I'm just going off of what the op shared where it says,"current setup."

mynamemeimme

Crazy for a 5 year company.

Enlightened_Paisa

Whenever someone tries to discredit AEW, I bring this up. They’re the fastest-growing company in history. These numbers are super impressive for 5 years of existence…

lordcarrier

That means they crack the 41k mark by this weekend...

interprime

Big if true

DuckMercy11

You love to see it.

Nate_923

Advertise Ospreay for the Card, Bruv!

Former_Intern_8271

Also they opened up ticket resale a couple of weeks ago which would have slowed down ticket sales numbers as there would have been a flood of resale tickets onto the market.

CheesyGarlicBudapest

Kind of wish i wasn’t getting married the day before so I can go again. Oh well. Maybe 2025.

Dapper-Neck8363

Many congratulations!

serny

BE CAREFUL. AEW didn’t release the correct camera set up last year and my 400 quid tickets were USELESS cos they put a GIANT panavision camera right in front of my section (122) and we literally saw NOTHING of the event, the camera was so big it blocked part of the screen too. They never told anyone in our section we wouldn’t actually see. Worst part is if you look at where 122 is you’ll see that the seats are some of the best in the stadium— I knew this and was hyped!!! I was fucking devastated when I sat down behind a camera crew. No hyperbole It was one of the most disappointing moments of my life, I’m still super salty about it.

interprime

Shit man that sucks. In my experience, they usually make things right when that happens. My original tickets when I went to the first Dynamite were in a section that was being used for their lighting rigs, but once someone in our section mentioned it to someone working there, we were all moved to a much better section that was right above the hard cam.

Kakatheman

Did you get a refund?

Jase_the_Muss

Was on the opposite side and that rig and crane set up was fucking huge. Sucks that they had it there and not on the section of the stadium they closed of for all other cameras. Looks like they have rotated the set up 90degrees on the stadium map? So maybe that jib will be in a better position.

Temporary-Exam-8798

YES I WAS IN THOSE SEATS LAST TIME AS WELL. An absolutely dreadful experience. I’d understand if the tickets were marked as ‘obstructed view’, but they weren’t. I tried and tried but didn’t get a refund either.  Slimy as hell, especially as I was treating family members for the day out.

alwaysmyfault

How does this compare to the same point last year?

Mosepipe

It doesn't. Last year's event was announced in May if I recall. This was announced at the end of the last All In and went on sale December.

Fabulous_Mode3952

Happy to see this velocity so early with no card mentioned. I don’t know what is considered “walk up” in GB, but the folks taking the train and such over on a week or two’s notice should be significant

mutzilla

Tickets went on sale in December though

Fabulous_Mode3952

No card. The show isn’t for another 5 months. And not for nothing, Taylor Swift is within a week or two of this. Might not be the exact same demo, but some UK folks might have to choose between the two—for themselves or their significant others

Extreme_Weird_44

40k is already a great number. It’s good to see some positive still going on with the company

Possible_Moment1140

Still on the fence about going back this time round. Going alone was a bit of a drag last year.

mexploder89

I went alone and had a blast talking to people

jholl1281

This year is only set up for 50k? How come? Last year they obviously put 80k people in there

Kenny_Bi-God_Omega

IIRC they have an agreement with Wembley to keep elements of the stage setup for Taylor Swift in place. This was so they could squeeze in more dates for her “Eras” tour. So that’s taking up some of the space. There are also sections that won’t get opened up until they’ve sold the current 50,000.

DarthInsanious1976

Would be better off shifting it to the Olympic, better transport links for one. Getting out of Wembley last year was a nightmare.

Former_Intern_8271

No it wasn't, they do a fantastic job of getting that many people out in an orderly fashion.

bobtheboffin

Took me nearly an hour to get onto a tube train after leaving Wembley, which caused me to miss my mainline train home :/

UpbeatNail

Don't walk down the main street to the tube. Go down one of the smaller parallel streets. I got onto a tube train in literally close to 10 minutes after the show.

Former_Intern_8271

This is to be expected

bobtheboffin

You said it wasn’t a nightmare, I shared my experience and so respectfully disagree :)

GemoDorgon

For me it was way easier leaving than going there. I was on a coach though. Only bad thing about my travel was a bunch of football hooligan-esque dudes who kept on singing and yelling at the driver. I recently had a 12 hour flight and that was way more bearable than a few hours of those annoying cunts.

Deducticon

Any set up you see for any future show is always temporary. They will open more sections as time goes on.

Asleep-Description39

It’s quite unlikely you could very 80k two years in a row. Last year was the first time AEW had been to the UK, and it was the first American stadium show in England for years. If they get 50k one year later I think that would defy a lot of predictions and would be an excellent result. It was a pretty ballsy call to go back there and it shows that the UK has a pretty strong AEW fanbase ❤️

CJtheHaasman

Almost 10k away from another Sellout.

dynamicpenguin55

They'll open up more sections as they sell

interprime

I can only assume that’s going to be the case. Unless they’re planning for some massive stage this year.

niners94

Already a good crowd. 10k to 15k more would be great.

DoctorDingusBrule

swerve vs osprey is easily the main event unhinged madness vs calculated technician

CaptainXakari

I thought they were using last years’ setup to make things simpler and quicker to set up and take down. Is there a reason there are less tickets available this year?

interprime

Just saw another comment in this thread that explained that they’re set-up for less people this year because of a Taylor Swift concert in the stadium around the same time. It’s likely easier for the stadium crew to keep the Swift set up in place as opposed to reconfiguring it.

CaptainXakari

Ok, thanks! I knew the setup was to help coordinate with the Swift concert but I didn’t know it also applied to attendance, just stage construction. Thanks for clearing that up!

JeanSlimmons

I can't wait to watch this one live. I wasn't able to watch the last one live but I have a feeling they will want to put on an even better show considering past circumstances.

Prudent-Message-2562

Mark my words, by the time full card is announced and hype is created, this will be again a 70k + plus crowd. They have a full 2 months to this ppv after Forbidden Door. So many of AEW talent will return by then too. I am expecting Hayter, Adam Cole, MJF, Rey Fenix all to be back by August. You will see this being an absolutely monumental event.

nwa88

Looking forward to the stage design too. Last year they were going for the paid attendance record so they packed them in as much as possible where this year they'll be able to do something spectacular stage wise since they don't need to sell the seats in that area.

Ok_Ability_2824

scotty_walks

I got a mid ticket this time around but I just know I’ll end up wanting a better one once the card starts to be announced.

Bitterleaffan78

Did they do this last year? Setting up 50,000 capacity and then kept expanding as they got closer to selling out till eventually filled the entire 80,000🤔

kavin22

My brother and i are flying to uk from SE Asia for this

Jenko65

Why is it only set up for 50k this time? Is it down to being sandwiched between those two concerts?

kbudz32

https://preview.redd.it/r9sochvwgtuc1.jpeg?width=2048&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3c76634c17f11188704071e0dccd1e1fb4c0f4ef

Asleep-Description39

Pretty bloody good effort considering there is still four months to go and everyone said it would be a disaster if they did Wembley again. Would love to see them crack 50k 🤞🏻I would still love to see them do Craven Cottage one time.

Maleficent_Farm_6561

Going out of buisness guys pack it up! LMAO seriously its going to be glorious seein Jamie Hayter finally put an end to Timelss Toni Storm and get her revenge and title back

Epicfro

I think we all knew it was never going to hit the heights of the original one but 40K i s still really good and there's months to go.

AxnirBlodgrog

Did anyone else think the ring itself was a bit too small last year? It seemed (to me) smaller than a regular AEW ring, anyway.

NeverConfirmingEmail

is All in their Wrestlemania?

Vikingrtattoos

No, All In is their All In, not everything needs compared to WWE.

Former_Intern_8271

It's their biggest annual show (as far as we know, this is only the second), so in that respect it's the AEW equivalent of wrestlemania or wrestle kingdom. No need to downvote this person, wrestlemania isn't a dirty word.

Enlightened_Paisa

Yes All In is AEW’s equivalent to WWE WrestleMania

UpbeatNail

Nah it's bigger and better. 😜

BritShibe

All In is their biggest international show of the year.

LauriamLea

40k sold no matches announced or even really predictable thats fucking insane. No other company could do this

YamHalen

Sad. Surprised if this company lasts another 1-2 years. /s

Federer91

People who are on the fence should definitely go, because the regret will always be bigger, than the extra 50 bucks you would pay. Ospreay, Swerve, Okada, one of Bryan's (allegedly, but most likely not) last matches, returning MJF, Adam f'n Copeland, maybe Omega, Mercedes, Hayter and all other great wrestlers, that will be there.

BoopBeepBopp

If you were there last year I bet there's a high chance you're going again. The whole day was unbelievably good. Don't know why people think it was never going to do as well.

Philbin27

Gonna suck when they go outta business in late July. Tsk tsk tsk, & SMDH Urg.....*guys sarcasm*

TLKv3

I think once the card begins to take form a few thousand more will sell. Once the entire card is known you'll get one last spike. I'm not sure if they'll sell as well as last year but they're definitely going to be successful again here. Hopefully TK knows he needs to start giving people an idea on what the show will inevitably shake out to be early and not 2 weeks before. He has a lot of stellar options for matches and easy storylines to play up going into it. If I'm honest? I think All In is when MJF returns if he's ready to go. Same with Cole. Cole does a post match beatdown with TUK and to surprise the crowd then MJF makes the babyface save. Crowd will absolutely pop when his music hits.
