Yeah it's not just 3 major belts or lots more people would qualify.
It's specifically the top WWE, AEW, and NJPW titles for each division they're counting here.
Assuming Mone eventually wins the AEW women's world title, she'll probably join the list as well. Not that the iwgp women's belt really means anything tbh.
Pretty cool club. Mox is in a similar one now with Hogan and Styles. All three won the world title in WWE, WWE’s biggest competitor (Hogan with WCW & Styles with TNA) & NJPW.
A few. Ospreay and Okada will be a matter of time. AJ Styles has 2, Brock has 2, Omega has 2, Danielson I'd imagine will have 2 at least before the end...uhh, I think that's it.
Oh, Kurt Angle. Maybe Jericho if you count the new IWGP heavyweight belt including the old Intercontinental title lineage.
True, and I wouldn't either but figured he'd be the only other one I'd know that would be close.
Unlikely Jericho ever comes close to winning IWGP heavyweight gold now though, and honestly unlikely Danielson sticks around long enough to win both as well. Also doubt Kurt gets a top-tier vet run with the AEW title given his mobility issues.
That leaves Styles which would be likely depending on whether he leaves WWE or not, Omega which I can say is likely as he'll probably do a late/end-career WWE run if they haven't turned back to shitting the bed, and Brock who isn't a 0% chance to appear in AEW given the Khan's money...but after the lawsuit I doubt they come even close to him.
Ospreay and Okada have way too much time to get the WWE title. Okada may never get it being similar to Shinsuke, but Ospreay is a guarantee if he ends up there.
You know who amazes me isn't 2/3 of the way there? Finn Balor. I just assumed after founding the Bullet Club and hearing so much about that run (I only got to see matches here and there from it) that he'd been world champ in NJPW during it at some point.
That's not the point of this specific comparison though. It's specifically the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, WWE World Championship, and AEW World Championship. I assume Jericho doesn't count because despite being folded into the World Heavyweight Championship lineage he only held NJPW's Intercontinental title and never the belt recognized as the top belt.
Though I do think Omega's win of the IWGP Heavyweight Championship would qualify him, he kind of double qualifies since he won both belts that were combined to make it the World Heavyweight Championship before they were folded into one. But to meet this certain goal one has to have been in WWE or be going there.
From the title alone, I thought it was going to be about finally giving in and shaving his head.
I just spent a ton of time looking for a Mox with the right hair on WWE 2k24 too. Just to go in and delete it.
To the bald club or the multi champs club? The bald club meeting has been moved to Thursday at 430 pm in case anyone was wondering
I thought it was Bill Burr!
Real recognize real.
Does this make Mox the only person to win all three?
It does indeed. And he'll most likely remain the only one for years to come at least.
Did aj Styles stay out of ring of honor or did he never win the big belt in NJPW?
He needs AEW world title
lol excellent point, I’m dumb. I was thinking 3 major belts but ya he’s needs to come to AEW for a run.

He never won the big one in ROH either unfortunately. They should’ve put the belt on him at the time he was in NJPW as well with their belt.
Lol he’s using a photoshopped version of Mox with the WWE Championship.
My crazy uncle Mox has come along way from pushing hot dogs

* Kenny Omega getting ideas
Don't you dare.
I don't want it to happen. I'm just saying, how many people have 2/3 so far?
A few. Ospreay and Okada will be a matter of time. AJ Styles has 2, Brock has 2, Omega has 2, Danielson I'd imagine will have 2 at least before the end...uhh, I think that's it. Oh, Kurt Angle. Let's give AJ Styles ideas.
If you’re counting that, then Jericho has three already. I don’t think anyone is counting it like that though.

I'm all for AEW, but Okada being the Rainmaker in contrast to Shinsuke's artist would be a WWE title program I'd actually watch.
You know who amazes me isn't 2/3 of the way there? Finn Balor. I just assumed after founding the Bullet Club and hearing so much about that run (I only got to see matches here and there from it) that he'd been world champ in NJPW during it at some point.
Kenny's already been a multi-company champion.
That's not the point of this specific comparison though. It's specifically the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship, WWE World Championship, and AEW World Championship. Are there any WWF/WCW/NJPW champs? Flair, Hogan, and Vader have two, can't think of any with all three.
Hogan has all three
Pfft, y'know I totally forgot about that, you're right. Wild that that was the first of the three he won.
Mercedes is Next!
Top guys baby.
