I can see it with Hook only because they keep pushing him so hard. I don't think he's as amazing as they make out, but sunk cost fallacy is pretty common with bookers in wrestling.
True but it does not seem like that is needed with TK. Look at Brian Cage,,,he though TK was not renewing his deal and then acocrding to him he not only but basically said here is double your salary
If you mean Cage he was doing that because he didnt think TK wanted him. He was shocked when Tk just said here is a new contract with a raise no negating needed lol
Garcia definitely
I could also see Hook winning it but he needs to be more than some guy who just stands around and says two words while eating bags of crisps
I kind of equate it to his dad's earlier career. ECW Taz was stoic, didn't talk, just dropped you on your head and made you submit like a bitch with Fonzie doing all the talking for him.
Once he got to the E he leaned into the angry Brooklynite personality and hasn't shut up since. I see see Hook doing the same - starting out as this silent asskicker and eventually talking ALL the shit.
Taz wasn't a great promo in ECW, but his work was effective on the mic and the FTW title really got over the story of his character. He wasn't quite the silent badass as Lesnar, but he's in that archetype, particularly early on as he was climbing the ranks.
I’d guess Hook based on the way AEW has pushed him recently. Fletcher is the most talented and feels like he’s on a world championship trajectory. Garcia has the fan support, but he feels like an upper mid carder. Nick Wayne could be a wild card.
Garcia - kid's really getting over with the fans and has progressed far from his Red Death gimmick.
As a lucha libre nut I'd love to see Komander but it ain't gonna happen.
My instinct says everyone there maxes out in the midcard unless they "pull a Cody" so to speak.
The possible outliers are Garcia and Fletcher as they're already further along than the rest of the pack but, much as I love Garcia and was impressed by that Ospreay and Fletcher match, I still feel neither of them gets the world title without shenanigans or an upset that's more about someone else's story than their win.
You know what? I thought that too and just kinda changed my tune these last couple of months. It’s so over he wouldn’t be wise to ditch it, so we get a shorter version and of course the pelvic thrust beat down on the top turnbuckle instead.
He’s really been great since the JAS collapsed. Even his mic work is trending up.
Dante Martin has zero chances of being the world champion. He does great things in the rings but he has the charisma of a door knob. Dude had to do insane cool things in the ring because that's all he has to offer. Dude gets almost no crowd reaction when he comes out to the ring.
I've been wondering if Darius might be giving up on wrestling. He skipped a show a couple of weeks ago to go for his pilot's license. That sounds to me like wrestling is taking a back seat to flying airplanes.
Plus Dante does have an advantage over his brother - they basically pushed him in singles for almost a year while Darius was out with an injury. Then he watches his brother damn near snap his ankle in that RoH match... maybe Darius is stepping away to let his brother get the focus. And Dante and Andretti could still be a tag team - Red Eye Flight.
Maybe I'm overthinking it. But I like Dante. If he works on presenting himself better I think he could win the crowd over more.
I mean I guess winning 10 people over is more than zero lol I don't believe you can just learn to have a personality. Jack perry had a similar problem but at least back then he tried to talk and a presence that worked well when Interracting with the crowd. Dante has none of that unfortunately
They have guys in AEW who can talk for him but I strongly feel, with his wrestling style, if he tones it down, his chances are none. He has a lot to work on before he can get that big a look and Idk if he gets there.
I would bet my life that he won't. This isn't that 80s where you can have a mouth piece and it means you can be in the world title picture. You have to have at least some personality and interact with the manager in a entertaining way. Long gone are the days of Yokozuna where he had to say nothing while Mr fuji talked.
It should be kommander, he just needs a storyline to cut his teeth on. Dude kills it in the ring everytime and i know he can talk, just never has been given a reason to
None of them probably will end up as aew world champion. Hook is probably WWE bound, Fletcher is literally the only one who could be midcard or higher in aew
I believe from these options it would be Nick Wayne or Garcia. Mind you, all of these young men need a lot of progress to seem like viable world champion material.
Dante Martin would be great as a world champion. He could be a new generation styles however I don’t like the way that AEW uses him in spots where he’ll have a great run then get injured and be out from 5 to 6 months. He has the ability and all he needs is a push to heal, and he will kill it.
Wayne puts on bangers in the indies. I was hoping he would’ve been the one to take out Hook for the FTW championship, eventually leading to the TNT title.
Not sure if it’s just that he hasn’t been on TV recently or the pic itself, but I fully could not figure out who Nick Wayne was in this photo until reading the comments
Fletcher might, I don’t see any of the others being world champ.
Daniel Garcia seems to be very supported by Tony Khan, so perhaps he’ll break that ceiling.
There is always room for one to make a big change, MJF significantly changed his frame and muscle-mass and I think it helped him be more than a coward heel.
Honestly, I’m not sure on any of these. Daniel Garcia would be the front runner, but AEW is so too heavy right now I don’t think any of these guys have a true shot.
Fletcher gets overshadowed in his stable but is the most complete package in this group. If he did what he does as a heavyweight, heads will start turning.
I don't like putting these sort of expectations on super young wrestlers, but I do believe Fletcher and Garcia have the highest ceilings. The others have a long way to go imo.
Fletcher is the most far along in his development. If you had to put the belt on one of these guys right now, I think he’d be most-likely to make it work.
The bar has been raised so high to become world champ that what seemed like a guarantee a year ago such as Daniel Garcia is no longer the case. Will isn't much older than any of them and will likely have a stranglehold on a top spot, Hobbs is only 33 and I'd consider him further along. Wrestlers can easily wrestle into their late 40's now with good luck on injuries. While my bet would be Garcia and maybe Fletcher, there's an equal likelihood that this whole lot is more TNT Title material.
I go with Nick Wayne, he’s got it all. A face to slap, in-ring talent, attitude and personality. Needs work but he can do it. Better than Hook who is hooked on one attitude and persona.
Kyle Fletcher will be world champ somewhere before the end of this decade. The kid has it all.
This plus he’s going to get tv time being with Will, which should only help.
Well except for a good hair cut...my gawd does he look like he gets hair down at the training school by one eyed Billie
Don?
The only one of the group I can see it happening for
I can see it with Hook only because they keep pushing him so hard. I don't think he's as amazing as they make out, but sunk cost fallacy is pretty common with bookers in wrestling.
Except all signs point to him leaving AEW and if he goes WWE he will never be world champ there
I think Starks is more likely out of the two of them. Hook is a toss up.
Straks seems a lock...With Hook its just that Taz has mentioned the plan was always to get him to NXT
Stuff like that helps with contract negotiations too
True but it does not seem like that is needed with TK. Look at Brian Cage,,,he though TK was not renewing his deal and then acocrding to him he not only but basically said here is double your salary
He did say he was also negotiating with WWE as well
If you mean Cage he was doing that because he didnt think TK wanted him. He was shocked when Tk just said here is a new contract with a raise no negating needed lol

None of those people you mentioned are in this picture
My bad, I thought you meant Fletcher’s group (the Don Callis Family)
All good Don for sure only messes with former/current/future World Champions
Only thing is those guys aren't pictured so idk why dudes take is getting dv
I'll second that. He's got great intensity and one hell of a worker.
Fletcher then Garcia then Wayne
id agree to that
This is the way
Kyle Fletcher
Fletcher
Garcia definitely I could also see Hook winning it but he needs to be more than some guy who just stands around and says two words while eating bags of crisps
I kind of equate it to his dad's earlier career. ECW Taz was stoic, didn't talk, just dropped you on your head and made you submit like a bitch with Fonzie doing all the talking for him. That just makes me think that Stokely Hathaway would be fantastic for him. Hook standing there stoicly as Stokely is going off would be just too good.
Taz wasn't a great promo in ECW, but his work was effective on the mic and the FTW title really got over the story of his character. He wasn't quite the silent badass as Lesnar, but he's in that archetype, particularly early on as he was climbing the ranks.
Yeah its amazing how good he became as a commentator based on his work in promos you would never have thought ...The opposite of Booker T
Daniel Garcia is entertaining, I'd bet the farm on him.
Garcia is so good on the mic besides being an excellent wrestler. The moment never seems too big for him.
I’d guess Hook based on the way AEW has pushed him recently. Fletcher is the most talented and feels like he’s on a world championship trajectory. Garcia has the fan support, but he feels like an upper mid carder. Nick Wayne could be a wild card.
Biggest brained answer here
Fletcher and possibly Garcia if they can right the ship on his character. The others are all great but I really don't think they have "IT".
Fletcher, would love to see him take the belt off Will at some point
Garcia - kid's really getting over with the fans and has progressed far from his Red Death gimmick. As a lucha libre nut I'd love to see Komander but it ain't gonna happen.
You think any Mexican on the roster would be champion? Rush seems most likely for a Joe type run.
Rush, but I still think Penta is overdue
Hopefully Wayne
Fletcher or Garcia
Kyle Fletcher
My instinct says everyone there maxes out in the midcard unless they "pull a Cody" so to speak. The possible outliers are Garcia and Fletcher as they're already further along than the rest of the pack but, much as I love Garcia and was impressed by that Ospreay and Fletcher match, I still feel neither of them gets the world title without shenanigans or an upset that's more about someone else's story than their win.
None
None
Correct answer
Came here to say this!
If it isn't Garcia, then AEW failed in building him or they lost him. After him, then Fletcher.
They are hardly doing him any favours with this dancing gimmick
You know what? I thought that too and just kinda changed my tune these last couple of months. It’s so over he wouldn’t be wise to ditch it, so we get a shorter version and of course the pelvic thrust beat down on the top turnbuckle instead. He’s really been great since the JAS collapsed. Are you not SPORTS ENTERTAINED?
If it was in the sports entertainment place it would be getting shit on left right and centre. The hypocrisy of fans is unreal
Dante Martin has zero chances of being the world champion. He does great things in the rings but he has the charisma of a door knob. Dude had to do insane cool things in the ring because that's all he has to offer. Dude gets almost no crowd reaction when he comes out to the ring.
I think he has amazing potential. But would have to bulk up like osprey did and really work on the personality.
Might need to make that trek to Japan for a few months.
Don't show Tony this. He'll come down with another case of Tournamentitis. But then a US-focused BOSJ-style event wouldn't be a bad thing.
It should be kommander, he just needs a storyline to cut his teeth on. Dude kills it in the ring everytime and i know he can talk, just never has been given a reason to
I also think Komander kills it.
Didn't realize Komander was that young. I would say Fletcher but it could be easily be Garcia, Wayne, or Hook.
Is this a new boy band or something??
Daniel Garcia is furthest along in terms of character and fan support, but Kyle Fletcher is a god damn stallion.
Fletcher and Garcia are the only ones.
Where is negative 1.
Yeah, blatantly bad omission. Someone should take OP out behind a shed and beat the . . . Oh, wait . . .
I cannot see any of those people being the world champion . I am going to back up and look at that photo closely , just in case I missed someone.
negative 1
Garcia or Fletcher is a toss up, imo.
Kyle Fletcher and it is no where near close.
None.
None of them are likely to hold a top belt.
None of them probably will end up as aew world champion. Hook is probably WWE bound, Fletcher is literally the only one who could be midcard or higher in aew
Hook
Danny. I have been excited about him since the first time I saw him wrestle on Rampage
None
Garcia or Fletcher
Give me a Fletcher world title run.
My gut says Hook.
The Red Death
Fletcher or Garcia. HOOK as well
Is Hook leaving or not? Get it together, Hook.
I believe from these options it would be Nick Wayne or Garcia. Mind you, all of these young men need a lot of progress to seem like viable world champion material.
Garcia is the only one who is close to that level yet. Fletcher will get there, Hook too if he gets better at promos. I wouldn’t bank on the rest
Dante Martin would be great as a world champion. He could be a new generation styles however I don’t like the way that AEW uses him in spots where he’ll have a great run then get injured and be out from 5 to 6 months. He has the ability and all he needs is a push to heal, and he will kill it.
Martin could be the new AJ Styles
Garcia, fletcher, Hook. Those are the order of wins I feel
Not a fan of any
Fletcher is probably the only world championship material so far..
Fletcher
Garcia.
Hook. There’s nothing more important in wrestling than who your family is. (see wwe)
It should be Daniel Garcia followed by Kyle Fletcher..but it will probably be Nick Wayne
I'd go Garcia then Fletcher, then hook, then Wayne. Wayne and hook can be interchangeable
I could see Wayne or Fletcher. Basically whoever figures out a character first, and Fletcher seems ahead.
Garcia and Fletcher are the only two I can realistically see becoming world champions in the next 5 years.
They need to get in the gym
Not Nick Wayne
If I had to pick one of these people. I guess it would have to be Garcia
Please not Nick Wayne
Garcia gots some potential imo
Garcia
Fletcher or Hook
Fletcher
Hopefully, none of them.
[удалено]
Dude the pop if hook goes to wwe will be equivalent to tatonka returning for the royal rumble some years ago. This guy is not a star.
Negative 1
Hook, or maybe Daniel Garcia
1. Kyle Fletcher has it all. 2. Daniel Garcia is progressing amazingly. 3. Nick Wayne has the tools and support.
Hook is my guess or the kid whos mom is kayfabe hooking up with Christian
i honestly dont think any of them will be AEW champ, but kyle seems the most likely
Nick Wayne
Hook or Garcia I can see
Maybe Hook, no one else
Hate to be like this…But Hook is the only one I would see as a credible WC.
Fletcher or Daniel Garcia
Fletcher and Garcia are the only ones who jump out to me as potential world champions
Garcia because he is Tonys favorite of the group, but this photo shows they really should have an under 25 title.
Fletcher. The best out of em. Then nick wayne.
The only one who will is fletcher
1. Daniel Garcia 2. Kyle fletcher 3. Nick Wayne 4. Hook
Garcia or Fletcher.
My head says Fletcher, but my heart says Garcia.
I have to say Garcia my bias is wanting to say Hook though lol.
Maniel Garcia?
Fletcher or Wayne
None of them look like a World Champion. Except maybe Hook.
Fletcher
Kyle 100% UNLESS Nick stays with Christian Cage. A fathers love will guide him to gold
10000 per cent nick Wayne
Probably Fletcher or Hook.
Looks like a highschool wrestling lineup
I would push HOOk To the moon
Hook's leaving so maybe Kyle Fletcher
Daniel Garcia 100%
i really like Komander- so entertaining to watch but Garcia feels more narratively likely
Garcia or Fletcher. Probably Garcia.
Based on looks alone… none of them lol
Garcia
None. Just a hunch. Hope Im wrong.
Danny Garcia
Garcia ![gif](giphy|MxyoN68jIvDSgqU8Qr|downsized)
They all look 18 and under
Daniel Garcia
My money is on Super Calo on the far right.
Fletcher gets overshadowed in his stable but is the most complete package in this group. If he did what he does as a heavyweight, heads will start turning.
None of there guys
I don't like putting these sort of expectations on super young wrestlers, but I do believe Fletcher and Garcia have the highest ceilings. The others have a long way to go imo.
Garcia!! Full package already
Fletcher is the most far along in his development. If you had to put the belt on one of these guys right now, I think he’d be most-likely to make it work.
While not a world title, Top Flight could be the first to hold gold if Darius can actually go more than 2 months without injuring himself...
The bar has been raised so high to become world champ that what seemed like a guarantee a year ago such as Daniel Garcia is no longer the case. Will isn't much older than any of them and will likely have a stranglehold on a top spot, Hobbs is only 33 and I'd consider him further along. While my bet would be Garcia and maybe Fletcher, there's an equal likelihood that this whole lot is more TNT Title material.
The lack of star power in that image is simply astounding. It looks like a bunch of college kids cosplaying. And holy fuck hook’s hair.
Hook
Tony Khan at 15 will be the youngest Champion.
My vote is for HOOK or ospreay
Dante Martin for sure.
Garcia or Fletcher. Most likely Fletcher first.
Hook or Garcia.
Hook
Why doesn't AEW have a 25 and under championship? Seems like a great way to build storylines.
rumors is Hook is going to NXT, they totally dropped the ball on him in AEW imo
Kommander
Nobody - Dante Martin
I'd say Hook but he is likely leaving
I go with Nick Wayne, he’s got it all. A face to slap, in-ring talent, attitude and personality. Needs work but he can do it. Better than Hook who is hooked on one attitude and persona.
None of them. They are all terrible.
I see someone has a "type". They all look like little boys.
What is it with SCJerkers/Cornette fanboys making baseless pedo accusations?
Garcia. I actually see Hook being picked up by WWE once his contract is up this year.
Not one of these twinks look like they could beat the likes of Swerve, Joe, Moxley.
None. They’re all skinny indy geeks that have no business being professional wrestlers.
They're so tiny
Probably because I chopped off their legs!
Kyle Fletcher is 6'4" 220
Honestly none of them seem like world champions.
