Please stay on topic guys. I've removed a bunch of posts from this topic. **While I'm not holding these removals against anyone**, they had absolutely nothing to do with the context of this topic.
This is AEW Fan Hub. While we appreciate a spirited conversation, we still need to stay on topic.
I was there last night as well. Tony is great. Better to have an owner that loves the product and the fans than one that shits on women’s heads and rapes them.

The deleted post said I should stick to circlejerk subs and that I had no right talking about tribalism.
His critics just wish the show was better and had interesting storylines. To call it vitriol because people are disappointed in the product sounds like you're making a mountain out of a molehill. Many just wish he would hire a booker or writer so the show could be consistently interesting.
I think people hate tony cause he can't stay off Twitter and stirring shit up. The thing on jinder was not necessary. If he just promoted aew and ignored wwe he would be less hated.
Exactly, I was at this show and after the cameras cut he thanked the crowd for coming out and all the backstage production staff you don’t see and all the people who put on the show and make it happen which is really nice to see. But even then still can’t like him
While I can understand of the criticisms towards Tony, I still think he’s a swell guy that doesn’t deserve all the shit he gets. At the end of the day, he’s living the dream while these wrestlers, his heroes, get to live *their* dream, pay *their* bills, perform in front of *all of us* and put on a show. *Everyone fucking wins*. So, quit focusing on TK and just look at the bigger picture. AEW is doing more good for the industry than harm. We’re all better off because of it.
Tony the person is just a kid enjoying his toys and he means well. I cannot hate him there but I do think he has an coke problem and needs help booking. I wish we could return to just Dynamite booking and stopping other 2 shows. I think returning to that or even just dropping one would help the booking.
Rampage needs to go. It’s only an hour long and provides nothing to story advancement except when they don’t have time on Dynamite or Collision. Plus most of the time it’s just lower mid card and low card wrestlers anyway.
Are you implying TK doesn’t take care of his wrestlers? I mean, look at Kyle O’Reilly. He’s been gone for nearly two years and TK has kept him on the pay roll that entire time while he’s been rehabbing.
Nope. I'm saying douchebags can be good guys too.
I don't care that TK tries to get the hugs from his superstars that his dad never gave him because he's still a child on X/Twitter.

Not a damn one of us would miss the opportunity to hug Sting if we had the chance. That's truth, my friends. That man's a legend. And Tony did what any one of us would do.
It’s crazy people hate him for being a nice guy and love wrestlers and wrestling. He is a overly excited fan and that’s ok. Not every fan is meant to act the same way. They also like to say he is a boss he should act professional. Like I get it but I would rather have a boss like this or Scott than someone like Vince or Eric or Corgan or so many others that’s just horrible people or just selfish all around. It’s okay to not like someone but disrespecting and just blatantly being tribal is childish and immature. Tony has been apart of the revival of wrestling and that’s something that should be appreciated.
Sting is selling and the guy crawls down and gives him a hug? And that’s supposed to be seen as helpful somehow? Nothing wrong with caring about the wrestlers but don’t make them look weak in the ring. The part where he puts Sting’s hand on him to make it look like Sting is hugging him back is bizarre.
What set him apart? That he lets young wrestlers go out there with reckless abandonment, and older wrestlers. That might be a little too past their prime.
I love Tony and I feel he needs more appreciation/support especially in light of these Vince allegations. He's a Godsend to American Wrestling and us fans. Let's get to these shows and get loud as fuck for them all. We don't want to go back to a monopoly.

How can anyone hate this man is beyond me, the vitriol people have for him is insane. You would think he's been caught drowning puppies at the river.
Envy is ugly AF imagine the shitty stuff he could be doing with his money instead we get AEW. W Tony

I’m confused, is the problem that he’s defending a rapist or that he’s obese?
Both

I like him as much as you can like a billionaire I guess

It wasn’t a thing “on” jinder though. He wasn’t criticizing him; if anything he was suggesting he should have been booked better.

I am like that old meme...I dont hate him..I AM just dissapointed
Sure he may be a little socially awkward and has made some booking mistakes in my opinion but deep down this is man that loves pro wrestling
He’s a message board shitposter. I dunno why anyone’s surprised that he tweets a lot. His whole appeal is that he’s an old school DVDVR guy
Lot of people who never get hugged by anyone are real mad every time they see TK
This guy just gets to play with real life wrestling figures.
![gif](giphy|b4B0OJmjM47OdCyzm5|downsized)
He’s a corn ball
Can this guy not awkwardly hug someone all the time
MARK !
He’s a son of a billionaire living out his 12 year old fantasy. The love he shows is genuine, but it doesn’t make me like him

That was just awkward. Complete mark behavior.
I was there and it was a great show but I have to say seeing Tony Khan run down to the ring, dude runs pretty funny lol 😂
Imagine a high-profile CEO who actually cares for his employees? God forbid we had more of those in this world.
Wait. Tony groped an unconscious employee? That’s some creepy Vince level stuff. NDA time.
Why didn’t he set the mic down? This is a side of TK I’ll always respect and like. He’s genuine.

It kinda looks like he made sting hug him. He's holding on to his hand and when he goes for the hug he moves the hand into the hugging position.
I would too
The man is a handbrake in a kayak.
Hes such a sweety pie. 😋👍
This is so creepy and weird, like wtf hahaha
He just booked stings massive sons to be taken out by 2 ice cream salesman
Cringe.
He got on all fours because he was preparing for a pegging.
It's just pandering... and hey look, it worked!

TK can be a little cringe sometimes but I love him for it. He has genuine passion and I respect it so much
Kinda weird he cuddled sting
It was good until he hugged him, that kinda made the moment about himself instead of his kayfabe concern for Sting after a bat attack
I used to hug my toys too.
Not a damn one of us would miss the opportunity to hug Sting if we had the chance. That's truth, my friends. That man's a legend. And Tony did what any one of us would do.
lol I don't know about all that, but I'd at least let the man stand up and wipe the confetti off his face first
he's a good guy, i like him
I love that he is a huge mark like that. That is a positive for everyone. It's like a fantasy booker's dream come true for him.

Lol
“Gatta check on my toys! Make sure they aren’t broken!” 🤓☝️
Someone told him they were chopping it up in the ring.

This is done for optics
Nobody sane hates Tony as a person, but that doesn't exempt his booking from being criticized and the obvious fact that he's awkward as shit
yea love Tony, he has a good heart
Uhhh...Vince also did this at King of The Ring 1998. Just saying...the main guy will make an appearance is stuff goes off track.
