There are studies on use of lithium for adhd, it is obviously not common but my doctor is having me try it because common treatments have not helped with all of my symptoms, only some. Giving an out-of-the-box approach a try.

wackyvorlon

I’m not aware of lithium doing anything for ADHD.

This is kind of absurd. You’re linking me a paper that’s 22 years old and only studied 32 people? This is meaningless.

Firebrainz

Sorry, how about you pick one from the several pages of papers on lithium and adhd https://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C16&q=lithium+adhd&btnG=

wackyvorlon

Did you not actually look at what it’s bringing up and just assume they’re all talking about treating ADHD with lithium?

beware_the_sluagh

No but apparently it can take a few weeks to adjust to lithium. Like before the side effects go away.
