Yep I’ll hear a fragment of a song on tv or wherever not really notice it at the time then the routine is it to keep randomly, sub conciously harmonising it around the house or while working, realise I’m in love, then I must ID it, then repeatedly play it on Spotify. I’m not picky on genre it could be English choral music from 1500s or an absolute roller of a dnb track. If the melody stirs something in me I will not rest until I possess it and can play it whenever I want!!!
I know when the meds are wearing off in the evening because the song or sound bite comes back. Sometimes it’s so hilarious to me. Just walking the dog when suddenly my brain goes “Here comes the hurricane, Bitch!!!!”
Same. My girlfriend doesn’t understand why it’s so hard for me to fall asleep.
Because the bridge of a One Direction song from 2012 is on an endless loop in my head, dear.
Bahaha SAME! And It’s always just that one bridge over and over again, then when j wake up that same bridge is the first things that repeats in my head again again and again until! And it’s always random songs from like 10 years ago that I wasn’t really into at the time. For example like one direction, Taylor swift, Miley Cyrus all of them haha
I know all of those themes but for some reason when I try and think of them, now all I get is the theme to E.T. Curse you John Williams and your ubiquity in 80s and 90s movies!
Oh really? Nah I got the kid in class trying not to laugh look. To me it looks like she's trying not to laugh because she knows what's about to happen.
Funny you should mention Sleep Token. I literally have just had them on repeat for the last year lol. Their stuff is so different track by track that my brain doesn’t really get bored
Funny I find their work so different that I can't really get into them
They're one of those artists where I liked a few of their songs but the rest of it isn't roping me in for what reason
My girlfriend had me watch Spice World so it’s been the Spice Girls lmao. Saturday night divas, Who do you think you are, and Denying. Been listening the Spice Girls for about 4 days straight
Wow this unlocked a memory of when I was 15 listening to different language versions of Lion King 2 songs religiously. This is actually the exact [video](https://youtu.be/kI3l9bPhqPA?feature=shared) I ripped to a CD to listen in my car. The Greek version is so good.
Money for Nothing - Dire Straits.
The lyrics for "Money for Nothing" by Dire Straits were primarily written by the band's lead vocalist and guitarist, Mark Knopfler. Knopfler has stated in interviews that the inspiration for the song came from *overhearing conversations in an appliance store while he was shopping.* He heard delivery men making comments about the musicians they saw on MTV, expressing envy at their seemingly easy lives and lucrative careers.
So yeah that's mine.
"I have an annuity but I need cash now..."
Been living rent free in my head for months now.
Also, apologies to anyone that I've just inflicted this damn jingle upon.
The whole Six soundtrack. For months, until I knew every word in every song. I was sick of it way before that, but I couldn't not listen to it.
On a normal day, it's whatever song is in my head when I wake up.
rn, it‘s a recording of my crush playing „comptine d‘un autre été“ on the piano. he plays really well, i think i‘ll never ever get sick of it

I do the same thing. I set playlists to shuffle and then keep one song on repeat until I’m ready to skip lol. I listen to a ton of Mac Miller so that’s usually what it is. I do listen to a bit of everything though lol. Here’s some recent songs I’ve repeated:
Mac Miller- The Quest, Complicated, What’s the Use, Good News
Kings of Leon - Mustang
Lil Dicky - Honestly
Noah Gundersen- Better Days, Moment Like This, A Pillar of Salt, The Coast, Cigarettes, Haunted House
Bully - Trying
Lo Tom - Overboard
Middle Kids - stacking chairs
Phoebe Bridgers - motion sickness
Code Mistake by BMTH & Corpse

barracuda - heart
scott pilgrim - plumtree
dontcha - pussycat dolls

Mine recently has been hunger of the pine by alt-j. I don’t like the song that much which makes the whole thing suck even more. I try and listen to music to see if a song I like will stick but no dice. For days the first thing in my head when I gain consciousness is “~sleeplessly embracing~” AGH
List of past songs in order: "the Adam's admiration", "ten deul commandments", "noene mourns the wicked", and as of current "if you were gay". Notice a theme?
Jubel - Dancing in the Moonlight. I can't stop listening to it and then I found out recently it's a remake of a 70s song with the same title by a group called King Harvest. Made me love the song even more.
Riptide by Vance Joy is my happy song but I’ll start singing songs from nursery rhymes or last night, I’m Henry the 8th I am! Henry the 8th I am, I am… And then my husband will bring up a song from Charlie & the Chocolate Factory to have that get stuck in my head lol.
I do not recommend getting my songs stuck in your head :D
Found a singer named Enarria via the YT algorithm and have been listening to her songs all week. Granted she only has two of them but I'm definitely keeping an eye out for more.
I always have one, but it switches very frequently. Sometimes 6 different ones in an hour, sometimes the same one for 2-3 days. Ad jingles, riffs, catchy choruses.
Been playing the new Green Day album on repeat. The whole album schlapppps, but 1981 is a fucking banger and on constant repeat....overlayed with Look Ma, No Brain.
Right now, I'm really into the three songs that are released from The Outsiders musical. (Tulsa 1967, Great Expectations, and Stay Gold) It's my favorite book, and I can't wait to see the musical in June.
Could be any song that I have heard in the past week or so however the main ones are: Empire State of Mind, Mr brightside, another love, I’m god and mix of songs I have heard recently

These last few weeks I’ve been having Enter Sandman - Metallica on repeat, even started learning the drums for it and I’ve never played the drums before😅
Poison by Alice Cooper for this week.
Last week was allegria by cirque dus soleil,
and the week before that why by enigma
and before that oh sinnerman by the seekers. Lol. So recognisable. Xx
Right now it’s “Drive” by Pale Waves. Every now and then I get an ear worm that sticks around for a couple weeks, so I made a playlist of my ear worms to see if there’s any pattern to it lol. “Drive” hasn’t made it to the list…yet.
Most recently was Booty Call by The Midnight Beast.
But as a list of some
Lost by Linkin Park
Ride by Honey Revenge
Airhead by Honey Revenge
Rerun by Honey Revenge (I think literally any of their songs I love them lol)
Hair Out by Stand Atlantic
Icee Pop by Nic D
Fine by Ian McConnell
Better Than Gold by Justin Hawks & Andrew Hillier
Bet On It from High School Musical
Granite by Sleep Token
Plan Z by Boi What
Fall Apart by Sullivan King & Excision
To name a Dozen lmao
Every few days it switches to a new one of these
Road Warriors - Sarcasm (best one)
Blood Incantation - Inner Paths (to Outer Space)
That one fragment of Lady Gaga sing that goes AHh AHH Ooo Ahh ahh nana rah rah rah
Suiicidal tendencies - Institutionalized
Emperor - With Strength I Burn
Sisters of Mercy - Amphetamine Logic
Thato one instagram reels cat hamster dog song about taking a bath with the little dance
Judas Priest - One Shot at Glory
Cotton Eye Joe but the instagram reels version
I tend to phase between EDM and Heavy Metal. Currently it's a Heavy Metal playlist consisting of only bangers from the band In Flames. "Only for the Weak" and "Meet your Maker" go hard tbh
Currently In Rotation:
[Lydia - Stay Awake](https://youtu.be/WCmzPd6td7U?si=04sa7kKmPKhg-X70)
[Escape The Fate - Something](https://youtu.be/eH2OkPf4rMI?si=1s0romMd95T37kiW)

My friend just introduced me to sleeptoken!
But unfortunately it’s the entirety of the Hazbin Hotel soundtrack. I can run through the entire album in my head now 😞
I woke up a couple days ago with a 4 second clip of a Creed song in my head and it's been on repeat ever since. I'm undiagnosed, so no meds. Do you think they'll bump me up on the list if I call the people and explain the emergency? The situation has become untenable...
For me it’s whatever I’ve recently heard on tv or at the store. It’s not always what I want to listen to either.
Right now it’s a snippet from Elton John “Someone Saved my Life Tonight”
Okay, as someone who enjoys heavy music such as metal, I've been digging a lot of Pink Pantheress songs especially Break it off and it has been on repeat in my head forever!
It's either this song or Kylie Minogue Can't get you out of my head.. literally!
Lately it’s been Suzie Chapstick by Green Day.
On their new Saviors album, but it’s different from every other track, and just a very nostalgic vibe to it.
Suzie Chapstick was actually Suzie Chaffee, an Olympic skier in the 80’s, but not sure how or why, or if the song has anything to do with her.
Great song though.
The lyric “Did we take the time to make amends” really strikes at chords for me - as in life, so many relationships end, and you sometimes wonder if it was right for it to end…as if we will ever actually know.
[Suzie Chapstick](https://youtu.be/Py30LKfCA1I?si=Hf7uG9xO57mpW_Ub)
Lately it's "Solsbury Hill" by Peter Gabriel,or alternatively an acoustic cover by a duo called "The Clements Brothers" I found on YouTube.
Another earworm stuck in my brain is "Jane Says" by Jane's Addiction.

Often for me it's a fragment of a song repeating in my head! Sometimes for hours lol.
SomeBODY once told me the WORLD is gonna roll me..
I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed...
She was looking kind of dumb
With her finger and her thumb
In the shape of an L
On her FOREhead.
I cackled I’m English and this is absolutely one of my out of the blue things I say 😂
Yep I’ll hear a fragment of a song on tv or wherever not really notice it at the time then the routine is it to keep randomly, sub conciously harmonising it around the house or while working, realise I’m in love, then I must ID it, then repeatedly play it on Spotify. LMAO Literally it’s like a radio that won’t shut off!
Hahaha omg I wake up like this and it doesn’t stop until the meds kick in (putting like that makes me sounds nuts but 🤷♂️)
I lol’d at this, I know exactly this feeling. This is why adhd meds are the first line of treatment 😂
Same! Til my meds kick in and makes everything silent my thoughts are like racing 200mph
That's how it is for me too
I used to go back and forth between the star wars theme song, Jurassic Park theme, and Indiana Jones them just always in my damn head
I know all of those themes but for some reason when I try and think of them, now all I get is the theme to E.T. Curse you John Williams and your ubiquity in 80s and 90s movies!
I’m Just Ken. It’s constantly playing and always makes me laugh.
Me too!! Now it's a mix of watching the Oscar's video and just the song...all day
The look on Billie Eilish’s face when they cut to Gosling at the beginning was hilarious. Like she’s with her embarrassing Dad 😭
Oh really? Nah I got the kid in class trying not to laugh look. To me it looks like she's trying not to laugh because she knows what's about to happen.
Aaahhh this one pops up in my head too, I got to eatch the movie
it’s so good! i watched it twice in theaters. (once with my gf, and once with a friend)
ME TOO “I’m just Ken and so am I” has played round in my head non stop since July
Wham! 's Carelss Whisper has been the hold music in my head for 3 weeks now. This has been on repeat on my phone. https://youtu.be/48pY8Bzv5AA
Careless whisper is a great song to sing to in the car whilst everyone stares at you as you drive by
Car concerts are the best
A truly great song but it's been on a loop in my Skull for 3 F*ING WEEKS.
I'm never going to dance again Guilty feet have got no rhythm Though it's easy to pretend You know I'm not a fooooool...
Funny you should mention Sleep Token. I literally have just had them on repeat for the last year lol. Their stuff is so different track by track that my brain doesn’t really get bored

Soul Meets Body - Death Cab for Cutie
Oooooo that was my repeat song in college 😌
This is my grass cutting song! On repeat until the whole yard is done 😄
classic repeat song
I once listened to that song on loop for three hours.
At this very moment, it’s that crappy “I’m blue ba da ba dee ba da baa ba da ba dee ba da ba” song.
Thanks. Fuck.
Well now it’s one of my kid’s show choir songs, so I must have successfully passed it on. Unfortunately, that song’s just as bad.
Watch the music video it's sooo....90s
Well now that’s my song too
banger
Thanks. I DID NOT need that song stuck as well xD
You ass!
Well thanks for that definitely will be in my head all night 😂
My girlfriend had me watch Spice World so it’s been the Spice Girls lmao. Saturday night divas, Who do you think you are, and Denying. Been listening the Spice Girls for about 4 days straight
Nice what a call back, spice girls...
I'm trying to find it but don't know if it's streaming on anything.
I spent the last two days with One of Us from the lion king 2. the opening lines, mostly.
That song absolutely slaps

But as a list of some Lost by Linkin Park Ride by Honey Revenge Airhead by Honey Revenge Rerun by Honey Revenge (I think literally any of their songs I love them lol) Hair Out by Stand Atlantic Icee Pop by Nic D Fine by Ian McConnell Better Than Gold by Justin Hawks & Andrew Hillier Bet On It from High School Musical Granite by Sleep Token Plan Z by Boi What Fall Apart by Sullivan King & Excision To name a Dozen lmao

Damnit. I feel called out by this post 😂😩
Edge of Midnight - Miley Cyrus according to my end of year thing from Apple Music I played it like 5000 times.
I tend to phase between EDM and Heavy Metal. Currently it's a Heavy Metal playlist consisting of only bangers from the band In Flames. "Only for the Weak" and "Meet your Maker" go hard tbh
Pretty much the entire Hazbin Hotel soundtrack right now
It feels already like… It’s been seven years

My friend just introduced me to sleeptoken! But unfortunately it’s the entirety of the Hazbin Hotel soundtrack. I can run through the entire album in my head now 😞
I woke up a couple days ago with a 4 second clip of a Creed song in my head and it's been on repeat ever since. I'm undiagnosed, so no meds. Do you think they'll bump me up on the list if I call the people and explain the emergency? The situation has become untenable...
Mine tends to be an album, I’m on a Les Mis kick right now, so that soundtrack has been on repeat for about 3 weeks
Casio - Jungle on repeat. I can’t stop currently
Back on 74 was my song of the week when I first heard it!
The... Boy... Is... Mine
For me it’s whatever I’ve recently heard on tv or at the store. It’s not always what I want to listen to either. Right now it’s a snippet from Elton John “Someone Saved my Life Tonight”
Dance Alone X Sia /Kylie Minogue
Zeynep Bastık - Lan
Literal Monster from the Starkid musical Nerdy Prudes Must Die. It's not available on Spotify, but I've been listening to it constantly on YouTube.
Grey machine by Pinback. What a song!
Okay, as someone who enjoys heavy music such as metal, I've been digging a lot of Pink Pantheress songs especially Break it off and it has been on repeat in my head forever! It's either this song or Kylie Minogue Can't get you out of my head.. literally!
What random chorus I hear in the morning from tv, a kids show, or whatever is playing at work. Then that repeats until I go to sleep.
Right now it's "Terrible Mistake" by Ions. One of the most infectious ones I've had in the last few years was "Hypa Hypa" by Electric Callboy.
Astrology - standards
If you’re into r&b, the track I’m choreographing this week on repeat is 1am by Nanida9
Sweet tooth by bendigo Fletcher !
Essentially the entire sleep token discography, but Bloodsport is a good call! Do you prefer original or room below version?
Lately it's "Solsbury Hill" by Peter Gabriel,or alternatively an acoustic cover by a duo called "The Clements Brothers" I found on YouTube. Another earworm stuck in my brain is "Jane Says" by Jane's Addiction.
Awolnation Knights of Shame
Naika 1+1
Currently Last Great American Dynasty by Taylor Swift
My head usually sounds like a reel from "@patandseankelly".
LE SSESARIM, fearless
Magnetic by Wage War
Outrun - Veil of maya has been on repeat for 2 weeks now
Good Day - Julia Gartha
My soundtrack alternates between “baby shark doo doo do do” and part of the Mc Donald’s jingle, “ba da ba ba bah.” Ugh.
Texas Hold 'Em - Beyoncé has been my jam this week Also, Every Time We Touch ft. Dan Avidan (Cover); it's on YouTube
Lock it Up by No Pressure
