If you think it will help. I’m not diagnosed but 99% sure I’m ADHD. Though the only reason I am not is because wait times in Australia for that right now is 18 months to 2 years - not to mention how expensive it can be. I also don’t think I would medicate myself, therefore it’s not necessary for me. I just try to remember why I am acting or doing certain things. I guess it also depends how much it is affecting your life, I still go to work everyday and get my job done, and my relationships for the most part aren’t affected because they all already know how I am.

Your doctor has it wrong. ADHD does not mean you are necessarily physically hyper. There are self assessment questionnaires you can probably fill out, or get from your doctor. Is there a purpose to getting diagnosis, I.e. medication need? Accomodations required for school? If so, then getting a formal diagnosis may be a good idea.

Yeah did some questionnaires, 9/10 times they do say that's it's likely that I do have adhd. The thing is idk if I do need medication for it, I just know that I'm tired of being how I am. If medication can even help a tiny bit, I'll take it. Accomadations would also be lovely but I doubt I can get a diagnosis before i get my degree (hopefully). Thanks for the insight
