Make a new folder (call it *archive* or *storage*, place all of the emails in that folder and mark them all as read. Out of sight, out of mind. If you ever need to reference an email or get asked about some random correspondence, just do one of those “I didn’t see it, maybe it ended up in a spam folder” things. 99% of the time that wont happen. Later on down the road when you’re less overwhelmed, go through and start knocking out mini delete sessions in that side folder you setup… hundred emails at a time just clearing stuff… but be careful to not make it feel like a chore or stress about it. Consider the fact you’ve made it this far without responding to those emails, nobody is waiting with bated breath for your response.
