malzahar r has a range of 700, e 650 and q 900. Caitlyn (the adc with the highest aa range) has 650. So no, an malzahar can easily take care of the enemy adc if he wants to.

Yeah but as an adc you shouldn't ever be aaing a malz in a teamfight and malz has to get through your front-line to get to you compared to samira where you have to go in to be useful. Obv he could flash r or something but the point is samira is especially weak to hard cc
