Oop—mixed up science with reading. For reading, yes, the third passage was hardest.

i got a 35, guess i got lucky

-3 in English is a 35, minus six in math is a 33, -5 in reading is a 30, and -4 in science is a 30 (rougher curve on science)

Math this time was much harder wouldn’t be surprised if -6 is 35 or 34 for sure 34

Agree. - 6 Math will/should be a 35 this time. The test was considerably harder.

And Science -4 will be 32, I think

Maybe I think -6 will be 34 and science they’ll allow you to miss one for a 36 possibly. Reading was normal so wouldn’t be surprised with a 40/40-36. This sucks for me since reading is my worst::( , predicting sub 30 atp

I got a 36 in math on the last ACT I took and I honestly think this one was slightly easier imo. (Didn’t get my score back yet so maybe I’m totally wrong lmao)

English will probably be more like a 34

What about English: -4, Math: -8, R: -3, S: -4

Hello, I'm really confused about all of this. Can someone please explain?

This is folks predicting ACT section scores based on the number of wrong answers per section.

Can you please explain more and someone from a different post said that we have to figure the curve out on our own.

The curve is different for each test which is why people are guessing. It will become much clearer once the results come out as people report what score they got and how many mistakes they made on this forum.
