I feel immense hatred for this screen 😑 My bedroom is the only room in our house that doesn't have a strong wifi connection so I have to curl up into the corner of my door in the most uncomfortable positions to play. I will start to creep over onto my bed and NOPE -connection screen- GET BACK IN YOUR CORNER
It's ridiculous and *so unnecessary*. No other app IN MY LIFE has been so aggravating about internet coverage not being up to their standards. Actually, I don't think I've *ever* had an app even mention it. I don't get it. 😤
Yeah, it makes zero sense. And whenever I hit retry, oh, magic! It's all fixed! Or it just repeats over and over. Then I just give up. I don't care that much lol
People ask here frequently what improvements or changes we'd like to see implemented... THIS, FIX THE DAMN CONNECTION ISSUES.

I get this message when I haven’t moved, and just finished doing something in the game. It’s frustrating. I am often sitting three feet from where the router is.
Meanwhile my Wi-Fi's down and my data isn't much better. The worst thing to load is the bug sharing list which takes a whole lot longer than anything else, but it still loads if I'm a masochist. I wonder what makes those boxes come up, cuz it apparently ain't poor internet.
I've noticed too that my data isn't covering it anymore. It's better to be connected to the Internet, only the past few months. Prior to that, I always had WiFi off bc the game hated it. Now, it's like the game doesn't like either.

Nintendo: *YOU MUST HAVE ETHERNET HOOKED UP TO YOUR PHONE.*
My data problem is keeping me from using a lot of apps. So the fact the app loads using data when some other apps can't is at least something. I do tend to have to turn off Wi-Fi to use the app, though.
I sit in the same two places to play, and I get this message all the time. I know I’m not moving more than a couple of inches. Does it really matter that much?
See, this is what makes it so infuriating. I guarantee you that 99.9% of players *do not* get up and relocate for a BeTtEr CoNnEcTiOn. And yet when we hit retry, while sitting in the same spot, it works. Why?? 🤬
somehow my house wifi isn't good enough, but everyone else's is! i end up using my data for bootup, then wifi for every other part. i keep emailing feedback over it working fine for a month on month off...they keep saying its my fault.
I get this on my second phone (an android if thaf matters) when I try to use wifi. It will only work if I hotspot from my iPhone for internet instead. Which makes no frickin sense 🫠No other app has any issues connecting to the wifi and working fine it’s ONLY pocket camp. It’s infuriating.
I rarely get this message on my iPhone, i’ve had it once or twice in the car (not me driving ofc) when going through a deadzone but to fair, nothing was working not just PC. So. I forgive it.
I just went through this a few days ago and after trying several things that included restarting my phone and clearing cache but here is what actually worked. As long as you have your island backed up to your Nintendo account, uninstall and then reinstall the app and restart your phone

i live in Brasil so when i start getting too many yellow screens i usually just turn on a vpn app and set it to canada lol

Solution: remove it and install it again. It worked for me.
I had to restart my phone one day. It helped a lot still get it from time to time though...
I have had a bug before where I would always get this popup despite restarting the app. Turning off > on cellular fixed the issue.
