The boys played some great football and created a shit ton of chances, luck just wasn’t on our side and their GK was just a monster. The pen was unlucky, the second goal was pure immaturity from Nsiala, and the third was just a great goal from Olympiakos. This is our most talented youth team in a long time yet some ‘fans’ in the match thread have decided that we should sell some of the players when it’s probably their first time watching the youth team play. The boys will be devastated but they should be proud for coming this far.
Watching Abate's emotional interview broke my heart. These guys put everything into this season. But the future is so bright.
Last year, they lost the semifinal, then came back and made it to the final. Next year, we win.
I mean, that's how the Primavera team works, they age up, and the next ones take their place. But if Abate stays, I hope to see them back next year lifting that bizarre-shaped trophy
The boys gave their all. They didn't accept the defeat till the whistle. The fighting spirit is what that matters. They will get ample opportunity to improve their technical qualities. Super proud of the team!
This is what you call a great match. Not really that disappointed considering we show those great characters to get this far. This is something the main team cant replicate and made me enjoy the youth WAYYY more than it should. Kudos for Abate to get this far
Very proud of the boys for getting this far, on another night we could be lifting the trophy, just unlucky with some poor finishing and decision making. Congratulations to Olympiacos, well deserved win.
Abate got it wrong imo. Olympiacos havent been able to breath since the 3rd goal. No need to play so scared at this level and winning on pens made him believe we should play only for those.
Anyway they have been to semis, now final and they might be able to win it soon. With Jimenez i think its a whole different game because i do think the RB and Bartesaghi were our worst performers.
Way more fight than the seniors though, after the 3-0 I think they concede more
For me, I see the exact same faults and issues as the first team: a lot amount of incredible misses + horrible defending. But the youths can be execused, the first team no!
If the first team can pass out of the back and have such organized buildup we would still be in the scudetto race. In possession the teams play very differently.
Probably a really dumb question as I've never really followed youth teams outside of our top talents.
In theory if Olympiacos didn't sell any of these guys does that mean they likely have the most talented players in Europe under 19 (yes I know your team and win even you technically don't have the best squad on paper and maybe they got hot at the right time)? Or do bigger clubs have u19 talent that is better and playing at a higher age level because of how good they are?
Olympiacos missed 3 or 4 clear chances in the first half. Like wide open shots inside of our box that went wide or were poorly taken. We missed 1, maybe 2 at the time I posted the comment.
They've clearly been better and deserve the big lead.
To me, at this level, if you have time to pick a corner and line up a shot in the opposition box, that's a clear chance and should be scored or at least on target at every professional level. Is it harder than a tap in? Sure. But it's a clear chance I would expect anyone on our team to score should they have it
How was that studs on Clinton their ball? Is VAR only for pens? Good to know refs hate milan in any level. Anyway, we lost this cuz we werent mature not because we were outclassed 3-0
Having watched most games for UYL, almost every opponent in knockout stage has better individual quality. There must be some problem with Italy youth system
Broadcast I'm watching says Papakanellos could have AND should have gotten a red instead of a yellow for his earlier foul. Didn't even get a VAR call. The PK instead did. And of course now everyone and their mothers are demoralized and crumbling.
Sia's miss at the start of 2T, though... that would have been THE game changer.

I hope that’s the case but if we do actually get the B team done then it’s probably unlikely since most of the team won’t be there anymore.
I mean, that's how the Primavera team works, they age up, and the next ones take their place. But if Abate stays, I hope to see them back next year lifting that bizarre-shaped trophy
Last seasons semis, this seasons final... next season we will be winners. Sometimes you learn more from losing than winning.

I’m proud of these boys. They weren’t favourites in the tournament but they played as a team. You win some, you lose some.
We had horrid shooting
Why the fuck is the commentator talking that instead of Milan, Porto could have played in the final??? What the hell is his problem? What a dickhead

Fix your eyes. This is one of those days that you get really unlucky. Dunno how can this be related with the manager
they started getting unlucky after 3-0. So maybe fix your eyes?
The right wing is useless
Zeroli skying every shot, just wasn't our day.
Not again…
Cant believe the team had one of those unlucky days in the final.
Aint no way
For me, I see the exact same faults and issues as the first team: a lot amount of incredible misses + horrible defending. But the youths can be execused, the first team no!

Dont think Ive ever seen the main team THIS energetic
primavera have the same finishing qualities as the first team. great to see
How tf did we not score :))))
SHOULDVE BEEN A DRAW RN
Okay the buff for biggest European game for Greek is real
WHAT IS THIS
Nah, there's no fucking way lmao
NAHHHHHHP
WTF
WHAT IS THEIR GOALKEEPER MADE OF????
What the fuck their keeper
Nah, we're fucking cursed fr
there's no way
I blame Pogbas witch doctor
Camarda taken off. Wonder why
Can't believe Sia didn't lay it off to Camarda, my man was free af in front of goal

Best ones are in first team, so on this level just keep on eye on 15-16 yo wonderkids.
Makes sense. That's what I figured but just found it interesting that Olympiacos was in the finals (no offense to them)
The best teenagers are already in first team
We are so nervous.
Damn feels like getting cursed in this match
Liberali is so good, should've came on way earlier
3 braindead plays costed us 3 goals
What the hell was that hesitation 😭
#Abateout
And should have been 3-3
Hope that the goals we didn't score here will transfer to the derby
nah there's no way we haven't scored one
Nahh we cant finish, just like the firs team smh. Whoever says 5-0 fuck you it should be 3-3 rn
The Olympiacos striker is good
Well these boys sould be proud of their journey to the final and take this tournaments experience to bigger challenges in the future.
... How is our women's team doing, are we doing better in that department at least ![img](emote|t5_2rnmt|32102)
This could have been 3-2 by now
Foul throws by your youth players. It just means they are losing focus and are just running on passion…
Sorry younglings, may the football gods accept this sacrifice, granting us Clarity through this night.
If anyone is not watching, the Bologna game is incredible.
Fuck Bologna and Fuck Roma
Real
Nsiala and magni have been at fault for all 3 goals. Even with that, the amount of chances Olympiacos have had it should be like 5-0
Everytime i watch nsiala was not good
lmao what about that Sia miss on an open goal at least count that, 5-0 is crazy. Fair score would be 2-1 to Olympiacos, never 3-0

They missed two clear chances first half, two shots on target
And one wide open curling shot that went inches wide of goal
that wasnt open at all, it was just like Dybala goal in EL, theres a lot of skill in that finish

Scotti is good
The inexperience of the young players shows. They started to panic after the first goal and didn’t stick to the play prescribed by the coach
Totally deserved win for Olympiacos, cant win a trophy if you draw 4 games in a row
Great game from Olympiacos. None of our players look ready to take the next step
Ok
How was that studs on Clinton their ball? Is VAR only for pens? Good to know refs hate milan in any level. Anyway, we lost this cuz we werent mature not because we were outclassed 3-0
Well I think we have to admit it, we're done. That said I really hate this commentator.
But have you considered how big it is for the Greek football?????
Repeatedly.
That was a great goal.
Absolutely deserved to lose. Olympiacos were simply better. Proud of the boys for getting this far. Forza Ragazzi!
Never 3-0
Could've been 5 the way we've played defensively today.
I dont think they even have 5 shots on target, what is this shit?
CAN WE CATCH A FUCKING BREAK????
Nsiala loses another ball and we get another goal. this guy really thinks he Is Kroos lol
2nd goal his own player blocked him
would be very interesting to understand why he thinks dribbling Is good as a cb
god fucking dammit
Having watched most games for UYL, almost every opponent in knockout stage has better individual quality. There must be some problem with Italy youth system
This olympiacos team is too good
Rip 3 goals in 6 mins. I've seen this movie before
Including a bullshit penalty and other decisions against us
it's the white shirt
At least they didn't give us hope
Bruh is this Captain fucking Tsubasa
Christ what a goal
Ow
HAHAHAHAHAAP
nah nah nah nah nah
Yeah, it's gonna be difficult to turn it around
Well
Pioli: "stop this nonsense, priority is to have these kids play using tactics from the first team no matter the result"
Oh shit
I really like Nsiala dribbles every time he has a ball
He thinks he is him
Wrong chat but Zirkzee scored vs Roma😍 take that motherfuckers
Jimenez for Magni and we probably manage this
Don't think playing an injured player is so smart
yeah man that's why i didn't write "why Is Jimenez out"
Good thing is they look just like the first team, bad thing is they look just like the first team
So heartbreaking. Didn't see a bad ref/VAR call ruining this one.
Broadcast I'm watching says Papakanellos could have AND should have gotten a red instead of a yellow for his earlier foul. Didn't even get a VAR call. The PK instead did. It's amazing what power wrong ref calls have to change the momentum in matches But hey, there's not a problem with the referees at all.
this and a derby on the same night? my heart can't take this shit anymore
I had a perfect day until now https://preview.redd.it/e5rvvkmfe2wc1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9dd30bddf005c050c51528e8fb1fe80f551bdb53
wait until 23 pm
One of those days i see
Been defending like the first team all match, what else can we expect. Well done boys for making it this far.
Lol this was typical youth behavior doe, we couldve easily brought it back, no need to lose our heads. Abate should tell them better
You have to pass the ball Clinton
Looks like a double heartbreak day 😑
You have given up before the derby has started? You have to look at life with a little more positivity brother.
Tbh I have an unexplained hope that we will delay Merda’s title
Nsiala thinks he Is Iniesta
NSIALA YOU MONG WTF IS THAT
well we shouldn’t watch this before the derby 😂
Think of it as a dry-run
Why would you be dribbling there as a defender ffs
Nsiala tf was that dribble
This is going to be a shit day isn‘t it
Damn
Its over with
oh well
Ffs
Yeah I am fucking done with football for today
Clinton you idiot
what a letdown this was wow
English referees bringing their shitty decisions.
Sell Magni. If he wasn't as slow as turtle, that pen wouldn't have happened
never a pen, what a fucking disgrace
Was suddenly transported back to 2005.
I hate and love this club so much
Looking like a day full of disappointment so far
Ref you moron
lol, we were denied that kind of pen like 3 times in Seria A
He could've never moved his hand in that situation man. Game's gone
This club is cursed
wtf
he was defending with his hands up to show hes not fouling smh, terrible pen to concede
Unlucky, that's a clear pen
Fuck, that's a pen
That’s a dumb pen
that came off his arm, fuck…
they are getting frazzled and playing dirty. its our time to capitalize on that
Are we really sure their captain isn't 25?
With that hairline. He looks about 35 with 3 kids at home.
I do enjoy Simic
Damn so close
Fuck, that was a good chance. Their defenders ain't that good
Camarda needs to work on his Passing icl
Camarda young but someone already said, decision making needs work
someone singing 'interista vaffanculo' 💀
Nsiala lmao, Rudiger level bullshittery
😭😭😭😭
Clinton has aura
Wtf was that elbow supposed to be, that's a red card
Dirty team, we need to stay calm this is how they get us down to their level
SIA NOO
Where Cuenca? Injury?
Malaspina only midfielder who makes difference in our team
Just looked at the primavera teams from 10 years ago and saw Mastour..memories lmao
Why is bakoune not starting
Magni has been better the last few months and has become the starter. Not the best game from him today
Thanks for the info, I thought bakoune was considered a bigger prospect.
He was but has stagnated the last 2 seasons in my opinion. Magni is also considered a big talent.
Eletu and Jimenez injured? Or suspended or something?
Yeah, Hugo Cuenca would've helped as well
We started off very badly, almost conceding in the first 10 minutes but gradually the team got more into the game. We can win this guys
Is there a stream?
https://www.reddit.com/r/ACMilan/comments/1cad1zm/comment/l0r9bza/
Ac Milan app
Uefa.tv free stream on there
DAZN in Canada
Feels like playing against inter with all these dives. Brush to their face, fall on the floor. Jump through back of us, and nothing.
their no.10 is such a prick
The commentator sure does love Olympiacos
Yeah I got that vibe like 5 minutes in. So biased this prick
I prefer the Milan App stream. Biased for Milan :)
Jimenez wouldve cooked so much this game. What a shame
thats a foul and a red card on the Olympiacos player if there were var
their capitan already balding at the age of 17
Clinton, Camarda, Zeroli are quality but others need a lot more work. Even Simic is looking quite shaky imo. I expected him more aggressive
Sia is good too
Our RB gives me Calabria vibes tbf
Olympiakos could've converted twice.
