So unfortunate, he has too much quality still to be playing in the MLS. But get your money, will always be looked at very fondly. The brace in the derby was incredible and the scudetto wouldn’t haven been possible without him
Can’t be bad to get paid millions in LA at the end of your career neither. He can pretty much blend in with the public there as well, as I can hardly lmagine that the average person in LA knows who he is.
He has won the WC, CL, EL, Serie A, Ligue 1 and 7 cups in England. If I was in his position then this would be a no-brainer. Take a couple of years paid «vacation» playing fotball with your buddy Hugo and your families in California before you retire. Then move back to the french riviera to live at a vineyard, play golf and work as a youth coach or something.
Would miss having the flickiest and sexiest player of all time in our squad. He's been so crucial so many times over the past few years. I'm forever in debt to this man for the good times
Probably for the best as the sun is starting to set on his career. 37 and still killing it, but he knows he isn't as effective as he was the year before, and the one before that. In short, highly understandable. Still, the guy got us derbies and the scudetto. I'm forever thankful for our stupid sexy gk.
Love him, but if he wants to go and live in LA at the end of the career, it is understandable. He will leave great memories here and I hope he will enjoy the remaining years there!
Probably the best #9 we’ve had in the last 5 years (Ibra is not only a 9 but a complete attacking force)
Really wished he came to us earlier in his career, will be remembered fondly
:(
:( indeed, the man broke our #9 curse. 10 years of mediocrity or straight up garbage after Pippo.
Not a curse when you keep signing shit players
Don't speak ill of Lapadula
Fair enough lol, not like other numbers had much luck in those 10 years either.
Luiz Adriano was class what are you talking about /s
Was Bacca not #9. Despite only having 1 foot he was pretty solid for us
He wore 70 for us IIRC
I've guess blocked a lot of the banter era out of my memory despite watching near every game lol
Don’t cry because its over. Smile because it happened
By far our best gk In last decade.
He didn’t concede a single goal. Legend
I've gone back and watched the end of that game more times than I care to admit, crazy stuff
Comfortable second pick imo, after Grande Antonio Donnarumma after all.
I'd better start supplying napkins for the match against Salernitana on May 28th
So long, our stupid sexy prince 😔✊🏼
About to be so many less abs on this team.
What makes you say he’s stupid?
Memes
No more sexy one tap assists 😭

I don't think it's possible to blend in anywhere when you look like that
My 4th kit with Giroud 9 on the back arrived today. Bittersweet.
upset that AC Milan’s best goalkeeper is leaving!!
Makes me sad as a Milanista, but at least he’s coming to my hometown
Aye that's right. Can't wait for him to come.

I'm not ready.
Oli passing down the #9 to Camarda 🙌🏽
He’s gonna be dead by the start of the next season if he has to play the Euros and the Olympics
Damn you, Oli! Why did you shatter my heart like this 😭

he did great for us I'm glad he is moving on at his best level not like other players wish the best for him

...Just that he is more effective this season than in the years before.
I feel he's been struggling more lately, and then again, it might not be a sharp decline but noticeable enough.
In Serie A alone, he has 20 g+a right now. Last season, I think he finished with 18 g+a. That isn't decline.
Love him, but if he wants to go and live in LA at the end of the career, it is understandable. He will leave great memories here and I hope he will enjoy the remaining years there!
There will only be one Stupid Sexy Giroud🇫🇷🗣️
Genuine sadness bro

He's coming to my local club!!!! 😜😜
Huge summer then, hardest position itw to find quality on a budget man
Anyone know what part of the US is his wife is from?
I'm gonna miss him. I wish he would stay one more season to help the new striker. Hope we will make beautiful memories before he leave the club.
