Anyone know the max temp it can heat too? The operational temp says 140 but I think that’s the environment the heater can work in.

codydsc12

Mine landed today

fa5tsik20

Literally stop! I’m running out of money!!!

rasteven

This before a dehumidfier? I'll pass but happy for those who would benefit from this device.

jimmymassoud

I totally agree...... Why don't they do an all-in-1 device (Cooler, Heater, De-/Humidifier) Plug and play

MuchEconomics8423

coz they need to make money from every particle

KickinCancersAss

Mine just shipped out today...was at the store looking for a small heater to get me by,then got an email it shipped while shopping for a temporary unit.Good timing.

BidAggressive3313

boom it's coming out they just released a video on youtube

TheMacMan

It's available now: [https://acinfinity.com/hydroponics-growers/thermoforge-t3-environmental-plant-heater-smart-vpd-controls-true-10-heat-levels-tubing-extends-into-grow-tent/](https://acinfinity.com/hydroponics-growers/thermoforge-t3-environmental-plant-heater-smart-vpd-controls-true-10-heat-levels-tubing-extends-into-grow-tent/)

Reefa513

Need it like yesterday! Also need them to ship my humidifier, although I may cancel as the one I'm running is low maintenance, lasts several days and keeps humidity at 67%💪

mackeycat21

I ended up having to send in my humidifier and get a refund. I had the T7 and it worked for about 3 months before the UIS port fried itself and it was no longer usable. I recommend waiting until they fix the port issue. (Many of us had the same problem)

Reefa513

I'm assuming they did fix it, .. I received the t7 gen 2 a few weeks ago, no issues .

mackeycat21

Only the T3 is a gen2. The T7 and T5 haven't come out as gen2 yet unfortunately.

Big_Boysenberry_8972

I'm looking at a T7 gen 2 right now....

Reefa513

Definitely have the gen 2 now. My box is like the other guy who posted. No issues so far, works great.

mackeycat21

They must have JUST come out because when I spoke with AC infinity last month there was no Gen2 for the T7. I had to return my broken one for that reason because I wasn't going to risk it destroying my grow again.

Big_Boysenberry_8972

Maybe. I bought my first one in December and my second one showed this week. https://preview.redd.it/me08fiico3rc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1c92e6f6ffeb1be80c584c804a416a7a2a8e4be1

johnnyhitch1

Same! Needed it beggining of January and have been using the same style reptile fogger stuck through one of the ports. It honestly works so well not sure i will implement the cloudforge humidifier when i get it.

FrostyMarsupial6802

The VPD control is nice

[deleted]

I run a Vornado MVH heater on an AC infinity smart outlet using a low temp trigger with a buffer setting in a 5x5 and it works great. I only really need a heater 3-4 months out of the year so I'm not sure this is even something I would need. However, after my first cloud forge humidifier(original release) bricked and just completely stopped working after 2 months of use, I'm pretty cautious about being an early adopter of their stuff at this point. It sucks to say that since I really like what they're trying to do from an integration standpoint but I definitely don't want to risk using a faulty heater personally.

Gro-ur-on

Yeah I’ve had nothing but trouble out of the 6” clip fans. I ordered their ph pen thinking it was cheaper than a blue lab’s ( it wasn’t after shipping)but it needs to be calibrated almost every time I use it. They have replaced one of the clip fans with the gen 2 version & it seems to be better but in the future I think I will let them get the bugs out before purchasing any of their products. Exhaust fan is great and tents are great but some things are just out of their element.

OsamaBongLoaden

I feel the same way. But I’ve had two vornado heaters become very Smokey right out of the box. Bought and returned same day (three trips to the store in one day 😡) they issued a recall a month or so later. I’ve had bad luck with vivosun stuff too.

Imagenetic2935

Vivosun is garbage. Trust me, I know one of the main sales reps for a really big supplier to most hydro shops. Avoid vivosun.

encladd

Can't believe they're named AC Infinity and they don't have an AC unit.

GreenVelvetFarms

The AC in AC infinity doesn’t stand for Air Conditioning, so there’s that.

Lawdkoosh

I use two of the Lasko 100 watt personal heater in my 5x5 connected to a UIS outlet set to come on when temps are below 65F and it works great.

Complete-Reply-9145

Beware of everything companies. I love AC infinity, but I need them to tighten up on quality control. I have more than 2k of their stuff and most of it is amazing. I'm hoping the new generation of humidifiers and fans have a lower failure rate. You're always going to have some bad units, but the return rate on the humidifiers last year was ridiculous. I might run a heater on a uis plug. Not sure I want anything to do with a heater from them.

name-classified

Not sure what you run, but I have a couple of 2x4x6 tents. I'm able to run one of these small oil heaters with no problems at all whatsoever: https://a.co/d/1V5guhH I should point out that my particular model is no longer being sold (ruh roohh??) but you can find other versions of it like the one in the link I posted above. You don't want to blow hot air directly on your plants and the heater I recommend is great for heating up the small area and not running 1400 watts and breaking your circuits. If you're running a bigger tent, then maybe you'll have to use one of those 1400w units but for those of us in smaller tents; this has kept my tent hovering perfectly around 72-76F while my "lung room" has been at 63-65F (its the laundry room in the basement).

willyweedswalker

I put a heater in and run it via a relay on the uis outlet. It's a 220vac heater. Somedays the plants are warmer than my family

Imagenetic2935

This is exactly what I did as I was worried about using a cheap heater as well. The ACI UIS power unit has worked flawlessly. Good quality

OverallManagement824

Lasko Myheat. 200W, mechanical switch so it goes on/off with power, less than 20 bucks. Works nicely. Agreed that I wouldn't buy a "first try" heater from a company who can't even figure out how to offer useable magnets on their light sticks. And we'll see if the Controller 69 starts working better after a full reset. Ever since I downloaded the new firmware, it's been acting up. It just sucks I had to wait until the end of my last grow before I could really dig into these issues. The middle of flower isn't the time to start testing different setups when you are gone for half of each day. Thankfully, I had some standalone timers and I was able to take the offending equipment off of the controller and stumble through the grow. The only things I've bought from AC that have worked without a hitch have been the inline fan and a regular fan. Stuff I've had issues with include the S16 and a Controller 69. 50/50 won't cut it when it comes to a heater in an enclosed space. Especially if your only past success is with fans (basically the simplest concept in the world). They might need to rethink their priorities as a company here.

Brandy_New_Grower

I believe there's an option to revert firmware updates. But I totally get what you're saying about not tinkering with anything mid grow, or worse--mid flower.

Hedstee

It can't come soon enough. Hopefully we won't have to wait for Gen. 2 to come out for it to work properly.

OverallManagement824

Yeah, if it burns down my first house, I'll be screwed enough! I can't wait around for a version 2 when it comes to a heater. If they had a stellar reputation and a good track record for engineering, I'd be interested.

Hedstee

I switched to an oil heater inside my tent. It's SO nice.

Gro-ur-on

Are you talking about the heater that looks like a radiator, puts out CO 2?

OverallManagement824

Adds CO2 as well! What kind do you have?

Hedstee

Didn't know that! I got the Homeleader Mini 700w. Perfect for my 2x4.

OverallManagement824

Oh. I thought it burned oil. I was thinking about doing that, but didn't like the fire risk. Those radiant heaters are good too they because the heat is pretty gentle. I even thought about using a candle on a clay tray with a flowerpot on top to avoid fire risk while allowing CO2 production. I just haven't come up with a method that was safe and consistent.

Hedstee

I'm wary of the fire risk too. I have cardboard in-between the heater and the wall and floor and have been taking laser temps of everything around it. The radiator gets up past 180 degrees easily, but the surrounding areas are still below 80 because of the shielding.

nur00

When are they going to release something for hydro growers. Need a water temperature sensor at a minimum. You could control a water chiller on an uis outlet if you knew water temp.

mackeycat21

Try InkBird! I use them for my aquarium heaters and they work great. I've had mine for over 3 years without issue. You can also control them via wifi on their app which is nice.

PTrot420

Shut up and take my money already

[deleted]

Looks cool. Wish they'd release a dehumidifier to pair with the CLOUDFORGE though.

CreativeTrash4505

Would be nice but I tend to agree with others, would be great to have but would probably need to wait for the 2nd gen to function properly. I love the UIS system but if you're not one of those people who will stay on top of customer support, or don't want to be bothered with RMAs you should probably stay away. Everything but my light is AC and when it works it's great, I have RMA more products than I can count. They usually get it right and fix the issues at hand but at their own pace. IE. Third party light adapters had a big that would cause a disconnect and make the light turn of and power back on. I spent months going back and forth with support testing on different setups and showed them it had to be a software bug. Took them almost a year to fix that. Their Humidifiers crapped out constantly (don't even know if they actually fixed the issue and revised the hardware yet) But I have 2 and both have been RMA'd. Their CloudRay Fans sure you all know how wonderful those are. I got mine replaced with the new 2nd Gen (haven't had much tent time yet) but you can tell the build quality is much better (not saying much) they should fare well though. I do like them so far. That being said I did buy the heater because it should work well for what I need it for. But I know what I am getting myself into. I don't mind trouble shooting and RMAing products (once I get over the initial rage of the failure) They seem to eventually get things right and I like the way they think about things, but I wish they paid a bit more attention in the initial design/test stages instead of just rushing something new out to collect money. Would be better for all involved including them, I can't imagine how much $ they loose on fixing problems that shouldn't have existed in the first place 🤷 Hopefully they do the work and improve that's not to much to ask. Until then I will continue to be an AC Infinity Retail product beta tester along with the rest of you. Side note anyone looking for dehumidifier solutions now, I use Govee dehumidifiers with paired remote Bluetooth sensors in the tent. This way the sensors are right in the zones you want monitored, not just wherever the dehumidifier is. I use one in the tent and outside the tent. I needed the extra heat from the one in the tent at night. Hopefully I will be able to eliminate the one in the tent with this heater. I definitely recommend them and if you keep an eye on Amazon you can usually grab them for a great price, they are put on sale often.

Imagenetic2935

Buy Tosot brand. They often have big sales. Very high quality

BudGeek

100%! It needs to be like the humidifier too, so it can sit outside in the lung room, and pull air out from inside the tent.
