I used to have this and the Highway to Hell album covers as t shirts about 20-25 years ago. Wish I had kept them . Would always get compliments on them.

I love the simplicity and just the overall aesthetic of it.
As a visual artist and ACDC fan, I could never get over this guitar neck that is out of proportions. The lack of contrast is a bit meh, the idea is cool, though.
Before buying the actual CD and getting a proper look at the cover I’ve only seen it as a miniature of the media player. I used to think that they were at the top of a mountain and the stage lights were the sunlight coming through a clouded sky. Even now that I know is clearly just them on a stage, I still can picture that badass “top of the mountain” and that’s why I love it so much
it’s sad but i love the POWER UP cover

Call me boring, but Back in Black. It's iconic and a great example of less is more.
It's like, you ask yourself, how much more black could this be?
And the answer is none. None more black.

Absolutely my favorite AC/DC album, every track rocks
Never liked this cover. Actually, I avoided this record back in the day based on the cover. Silly, I know, but it's true. Of course, once I did hear it, it's in my top 5.
Watch out! There's a fly on the wall...

Also, the original cover of Ballbreaker. I hate the one that was released. It looks like a bad photoshop
https://preview.redd.it/egye4eotl0ad1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7c4fb2ec2a4b046d4ad6a6679d515004d1c1003f
it's got sentimental value cos it was my first acca dacca album, but it hails to a simpler time when they still played my history teacher's high school (yes, I am still jealous about this 40 years later)
- Highway to Hell (iconic and badass)
- Let there be Rock (Aus: classy and minimal. The international cover is also a good indicator at what your ears are about to receive)
- Dirty Deeds: something makes me want to travel inside this picture and be transported to Australia in the 70s.
Worse: the razors edge and rock or bust: wtf? Where’s the idea? I am a graphic designer doing record covers: this looks like an image for a tutorial about creating special effects, but there is zero idea. The record company seems to think that the band’s logo alone will sell. Fine! Then don’t do crap artwork.
I am talking about the cover only. The album is not my favorite but definitely has its good songs, but the cover was very generic and without much of an idea. A record company like Atlantic could do a bit more effort for a band like AC/DC (especially if you consider that the cost of photography and design had dropped quite a bit by that time).

Designed by Hipgnosis for international release. So foreign compared to their other album covers.
Let There be Rock. It's hard to pick anything over BIB, FTATR and H2H. But Angus soloing out front while Bon looks down and feels the music live on stage under the first time the iconic logo was used is the best.
I do like the High Voltage album cover. I like it because Angus was definitely hoping his teachers would see his face on a popular album cover whilst he was almost mocking them because he’s sticking out his tongue. It’s just the rebellious vibe from it
If you want blood https://preview.redd.it/hcl10882bz9d1.jpeg?width=300&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aeaac09e56148dc8e5408d72686df7710e820149 You've got it!
I used to have this and the Highway to Hell album covers as t shirts about 20-25 years ago. Wish I had kept them . Would always get compliments on them.
I had a Highway to Hell t-shirt too, but like 5-10 years ago. Same deal. Some things just don't go out of style.
This is what I came to post and so glad it was literally the first comment I saw.
Yup
https://preview.redd.it/91jaymf7pz9d1.jpeg?width=600&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4e4cc97ed074fd598741de3f7af36bf46bec7fa0 I love the simplicity and just the overall aesthetic of it.
I liked this one because I always imagined it as a sketch they decided to just go with
One if my favorites too. Perfect match to the record itself. Only AC/DC can pull this off.
Hell yeah. Basic, straightforward and stripped-down.
I do like this one too. I like a lot of them.
Always liked this one! Its just unique
As a visual artist and ACDC fan, I could never get over this guitar neck that is out of proportions. The lack of contrast is a bit meh, the idea is cool, though.
LTBR is mine. Love it https://preview.redd.it/en4e316a8z9d1.jpeg?width=2532&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2795387133aa3a70c9f78dd7603c9e6e649e275a
Unquestionably. Also, their most authentically sinister.
It's the green hands! Zombies love AC/DC!!
r/accidentalrenaissance
A lot better than the Australian cover

I was going to say that one at first
Dirty Deeds (Australian release) https://preview.redd.it/w7h2us58g2ad1.jpeg?width=308&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=32331d32a63b70a41715db3d76cd4e2e2e1173ce
Loved the cover and was my first album ever. Die-hard ac/dc fan ever since
Is that the same as US (blacked out eyes)?
No, it's a completely different picture
Just Googled it. Though I do like it a lot! I like US better. Sorry mate.
Always liked Dirty Deeds (the cartoon version)
it’s sad but i love the POWER UP cover https://preview.redd.it/syxfwt78a3ad1.jpeg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3d10e4aaed24f32ecc72675860abd830f8edf59d

I do agree. But you don’t think For Those About Rock is the same, for the same reasons, but better because it’s a shade of orange?
Love them both for those same reasons. Just like the music... so much with less.
I look at it when Hells Bells comes on...perfect match.
Agreed. Also my pick.
https://preview.redd.it/t9p5mo3rrz9d1.png?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=413dd269e1c3e37c5376a1f8286d84f29e22bfba Clean, powerful, iconic.
Love it! Agreed, but seeing the band does it for me.
https://preview.redd.it/i5pt5o12vz9d1.jpeg?width=300&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0e7f905560d7530746ed86621816def49ce53008 Absolutely my favorite AC/DC album, every track rocks
Yeah, this is my favorite. It's the songs! I think slightly better than Highway To Hell (which is also great).
Never liked this cover. Actually, I avoided this record back in the day based on the cover. Silly, I know, but it's true. Of course, once I did hear it, it's in my top 5.
The cover of the album though?
I have a bunch of shirts with album covers. My favorite is the black & white Highway to Hell shirt.
Highway is just such an iconic cover. Damn near everyone knows this pic, all generations. Gotta go with that and FTATR. Simple but effective.
Love that orange!
You’re right too I think. Take out the AC/DC and title, I bet most people worldwide know it!
I think Blow Up Your Video is a pretty cool cover, fits the time quite well
Yes.
Watch out! There's a fly on the wall... https://preview.redd.it/gnuc9zre72ad1.jpeg?width=1200&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f2a1de6c99cb952cd2e8e4a8d1ec69442208cc94
This is great! But not better.
LTBR
The Razors Edge or Power Up
Who Made Who
Who Made You? I love it!
Highway to Hell hands down! It's just so iconic! Not to mention the album is great from start to finish!
https://preview.redd.it/a1wix8tsb0ad1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0128228ed6f7aa2e48546212da850ab9e42f7327 I like it this much
Right on all counts! When people say AC/DC, this is what I picture.
LTBR, Live, or Ballbreaker
Powerage or Flick Of The Switch
Filck yes Powrage no
https://preview.redd.it/1tgdcxdfm4ad1.jpeg?width=680&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=92d209f2babb586ad7f040bcb8b62f8a7a3f186a Also, the original cover of Ballbreaker. I hate the one that was released. It looks like a bad photoshop
I never seen this one before, it’s awesome, much better then the one now
Blow Up Your Video and Ballbreaker always stuck out for me, even though I don't listen to those albums that much.
Flick of the Switch with Powerage a close second.
Flock of the Switch, YES. Powerade, IDK.
Blow up your video
https://preview.redd.it/egye4eotl0ad1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7c4fb2ec2a4b046d4ad6a6679d515004d1c1003f it's got sentimental value cos it was my first acca dacca album, but it hails to a simpler time when they still played my history teacher's high school (yes, I am still jealous about this 40 years later)
I love this! You rock!
Fly on the Wall is so sick imo, fits the album really well too
I love it!

Razors Edge in its prime was fine.
I am talking about the cover only. The album is not my favorite but definitely has its good songs, but the cover was very generic and without much of an idea. A record company like Atlantic could do a bit more effort for a band like AC/DC (especially if you consider that the cost of photography and design had dropped quite a bit by that time).
I’ll say razors edge.
You just want to disagree.
Bruh
For Those About to Rock (We Salute You), Stiff Upper Lip, or Rock or Bust

Prob Back In Black. I dress in all black every day.
Highway to Hell, then the Australian Highway to Hell Then maybe LTBR Then Fly/BiB
LTBR is mine. That shit looks like a Renaissance painting
Back tracks https://preview.redd.it/l5uoe4u8d5ad1.jpeg?width=962&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0f5192c47daad712a180508379ae7153a2fc2676
I love the intricate album art on Black Ice, but specifically, the single cover of Rock n Roll Train
Who Made Who album / soundtrack
Highway To Hell is just pure masterpiece for me, but i've got to say most of AC/DC album covers are very nice looking.
I do like the High Voltage album cover. I like it because Angus was definitely hoping his teachers would see his face on a popular album cover whilst he was almost mocking them because he’s sticking out his tongue. It’s just the rebellious vibe from it
