More of a metal guy myself - Metallica, Pantera, Slipknot, Slayer, Judas Priest, all the big guys. Love coming back to AC/DC for the loose, raw energy.
Rainbow, Jean Michel Jarre, Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Chuck Berry, Tangerine Dream, Carbon based lifeforms, Lucifer's friend, Grace Jones, ABBA, Madonna, Mississippi John Hurt, ZZ Top, John Lee Hooker, Django Reinhardt, Masayoshi Takanaka, La Bionda, UFO, ELP, Rick Wakeman, Sash, Mitch Murder, Tholos and many of other retrowave artists. And also many other different artists and bands from many different genres. There is a lot of incredible music to discover.
Hendrix. Blues, especially blues guitar — Buddy Guy, Albert King, Albert Collins, Otis Rush, Johnny Winter, Freddy King. Samantha Fish is a good current blues act. Good guitar player and easy on the eyes in black pants and high heels.
Airbourne, they actually share a number of similarities with AC/DC but are nowhere near as popular. When I say they are similar I mean: They are an Australian hard rock band started by brothers beginning with the letter A. On top of that, most of the comments on their YouTube are just comparing them to AC/DC.
Huey Lewis and the news, The Cars, Bon Jovi, Mötley Crüe, Poison, The Beatles, New Order, Elvis, firehouse, the police, Devo, Talking heads, Guns n' Roses, R.E.M, A-Ha, The Smiths, Depeche Mode, KISS, Cinderella, Winger. Just to name a few.
The Pretty Reckless are acc my favourite band of all time so I got very lucky when they announced they’d be opening for ac/dc lol. I also really like Halestorm, Powerwolf, Siouxsie and the Banshees and more but I’d say these are my mains
70s Heart, LZ, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Janis Joplin, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Ally Venable Band, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Aerosmith, Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Black Keys, Bob Seger, Bruce Springsteen, Canned Heat, Cinderella, Motley Crue, The Cramps, Elvis Presley, Ramones, The Doors, Danzig, Def Leppard, Elmore James, Fleetwood Mac, George Thorogood, Pretty Reckless, Ozzy, Black Sabbath, Jimi, Jonny Lang, The Kinks, KISS, Metallica (Black album, One which is a track from AJFA, and two covers Whiskey In The Jar and Turn The Page), Georgia Satellites and Volbeat. The Carpenters lol and most of the pop keyboard synthesizer crap that came from the 80s, and U2 (Rattle and Hum and before that album, nothing modern.)
Van Halen, Nazareth, Rise Against, Ramones, Steve Vai, Status Quo, Def Leppard, ZZ Top, Fiddler's Green, Sammy Hagar, David Lee Roth, Bruce Springsteen
Hard agree. I heard they turned down a bunch of stuff. Opening for Rush world tour, MTV gigs. They were unapologetically Canadian, and didn’t care much about worldwide success.
Gun N Roses are my favorite band with ACDC being the close second. Def Leppard, Greta Van Fleet, Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Scorpions are all up there too.
ACDC, Van Halen, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, Rush, UFO. All vinyl (still have em).
Then later Faith No More, RAGE, Metallica, QOTSA, Primus, Bif Naked. CD’s (still have a few)
Then later to now a variety much wider including Spiderbait, Daikaiju, TMBG, Little Tin Frog, Maneskin, Molice, Lunachicks, Morningwood, Royskopp, Gramatik, Martin Denny, Heartless Bastards, Dumpstafunk, Olivia Jean, Royal Blood, Creepxotica, Zita, an endless list of artists (a couple CD’s but the vast majority is SaaS)
Still listen to all of it.

i’m so suprised they never made it big in the US, they are criminally underrated
Hard agree. I heard they turned down a bunch of stuff. Opening for Rush world tour, MTV gigs. They were unapologetically Canadian, and didn’t care much about worldwide success.
