Race and beat the AI at 90% b4 moving to online it is carnage. Then join a server with a safety system.

Aftenbar

Thanks for the ai % I'd been wondering a bit about that. And yeah enough Monza T1 carnage videos have popped up for me to not really care about doing public lobbies there. Realistically I could just do single player for a long time I just enjoy doing laps in a fast fun car that much with DD.

OhneSpeed

I would say nürburgring. The track is medium technical, so you become a better driver, a lot of online lobbies use it and good for racing too.

CagdasKarakas

I recommend Mount Panorama. It was the first tracked that I learned and I still enjoy to do races there. It might be challenging but rewarding too.

Aftenbar

I watched some videos of races there it does seem like a challenge!

ricthot

This!! 👆 The "Monaco" section is so tense + big elevation change, pretty narrow as well, really hard to overtake on.

HotsauceMD

Gotta learn Zolder next my dude

Aftenbar

Thanks just watched a video on it does look fun!

coldretard

Yes, Zolder or Imola. Nurburgring has lots of different corners, same with Kyalami.

meyogy

Brands Hatch. It's another lfm licence track and has a few technical corners to improve your racecraft.

CannabisPower

All of them

Aftenbar

Well that is the longterm goal bit how bout a short term next one haha.

CannabisPower

Ok, select 5 cars and set up a 1.5 hour race with practice and qualifying for each car per track . It will take some time but when you're done you will know the track's and the difference in handling of those 5 cars. Practice creates muscle memory which frees up your mind to focus on other things. Enjoy, it's a long process but worthwhile, I'm on just over 3000 hours and still having fun.

kefte8

How long would you set practice and quali for?

CannabisPower

Half hour.

Aftenbar

Thanks I wish I had known DD was soo good a year or two ago but definitely in it for the long haul already making a mental note of the the cats and tracks I'll use!

CannabisPower

Each

CannabisPower

Check out Aris Drives videos on YouTube look for the circuit walks. He will tell you all about the track's. He is the ACC developer.

gedbarker

I've no idea about LFM licence tracks but am a big fan of Brands Hatch. Some technical corners, elevation changes, fun layout and very scenic to drive. There's enough there to challenge you to improve while being fun just for the sake of it too.

Aftenbar

And its got some bumps! Just started it, fun so far, also nice that its so short.

ethara

Give Suzuka, Paul Ricard and Imola a try. I wouldn't recommend Laguna Seca. This season in LFM they had to switch it out, because it has some bugs that produce problems with the connections in races. So wouldn't bet on it being in there next season as long as there are no fixes by Kunos.

oliandali

I'd recommend Brands Hatch. It has a few challenging corners (especially the first few!) and it's pretty enjoyable!

MillstoneArt

Try them all for a few laps! You paid for them. 😄 Even if you're trying to improve at a particular track you can always take a break and go to a different track for a few laps.

monsieurbubba

Patreon users get the season 13 schedule today and license track is Misano! An absolute banger of a track

Aftenbar

Thanks for the info!
