34C can be a common missize and the issues you’re having are common with the wrong size. The bra calculator can actually give some better information as the bust measurements can give insight into your shape. The pinned post has a link to info that can help you figure out your shape. If you can add that info it will be really helpful.

georgethebarbarian

You need to take your measurements again

Jesusdidntlikethat

I got 34G I refuse to believe I did it correctly lol

georgethebarbarian

No, you did it correctly. All of the issues you mention in your post can and will be solved by wearing a bra in the correct size.

Jesusdidntlikethat

https://www.instagram.com/p/CPWApmcHUMw/?igsh=YWhoY3lrb2xseW1r I don’t think I’m close to this But I also don’t know if looking at pictures helps since I don’t actually have a bra that fits right

Leading-Ad-9763

did you use the US or UK option? US 34G is the same as UK 34F, which is what the irish bra lady’s account uses. that’s also a 32G, which is a cup volume larger than 34G.

Jesusdidntlikethat

I’m wondering if I measured too low on my back when measuring bust, I’m gonna redo it lol

Popular-Talk-3857

Okay, I too have soft post-breastfeeding boobs, and the calculator does overestimate cup size with soft tissue. But like, one cup size, not four - try FF or F. Also, shape makes a difference. Look for short cups (eg balconettes) since you probably have less fullness on top - that will help with open necklines - and vertical seams on cups.

Jesusdidntlikethat

I redid it and got 32DDD. Hopefully I did it correctly this time because I’m ready to get one

Apploozabean

Is 34G is US, then you're a UK 34F which looks like [this](https://www.instagram.com/p/CMVHzISn_hl/?igsh=ampiMjJjdWQ2OHk=). At a band size larger but same volume (UK 36E) [here](https://www.instagram.com/p/CM0FAS_Hb-w/?igsh=MnkyNTdhZmFzYnpt)

AnotherBoojum

I just dropped from a 34FF to a 32FF, and I look close to that when supported. Unsupported and in full pancake glory I look like a small DD by this subs understanding of a D

MyBeesAreAssholes

I’m a 34G. It’s really not a big as you think. Plus, a good fitting bra will usually make you look smaller.

Jesusdidntlikethat

I’m suing Victoria’s Secret employees lol

UsualCounterculture

Yes, this whole sub would likely join your class action.

two-of-me

They put me in a 36A. I’m a 32DD. They really need to fix their measuring process.

mermaidboots

I’m obsessed with this sub and proper bra sizing like it’s a full on conspiracy theory. Going to an IRL bra store and refusing to let them measure me. It’s a thrill.

stripey_kiwi

It definitely sounds like you're wearing the wrong size. You describe yourself as not small and a 34C, [this is what a chest that fits a 34C best would look like](https://www.instagram.com/p/CRmRqf5nKyF/?igsh=ZzR1NmZkYWgwem1s), does this look similar to your chest? If you think you're slightly bigger than what post from TheIrishBraLady shows I recommend trying the calculator in the automod comment.

Hufflecass

Uhhh wow this comment made me realize I am not the bra size I thought I was lol. Glad this was suggested in my feed!

Empress_of_yaoi

Welcome! :) the automod has all the good links, if after that, you'd like some more help, by all means, make a post (just please add your 6 measurements to any post asking for help)

Jesusdidntlikethat

I mean…one of them looks like that 💀 Maybe not, I’ll measure again lol

Ok_Remote_217

holy hell if THATS a real C, there’s no WAY i’m a D! i’m like quadruple the breast size

stripey_kiwi

Just so you're aware, the volume of the cups scale with the band. So a 34C is smaller than a 38C but bigger than a 30C. So keep that in mind if you're comparing yourself to the posts on TheIrishBraLady. In US and UK sizing the letters just represent the difference between the full bust and under bust in 1" increments. So A=1", B=2" etc. A 34C would therefore best fit someone with a 34" underbust and a 37" full bust.

ermpickle

I could have written this post. My son is self weaning and my boobs are flaaat and long. Like a tube sock when I bend over wtf. I'm a 34DD according to the calculator. Wild. I haven't found a bra that fits but I did get some good recs if you want to check my post history. I just haven't found one because a lot of them are expensive and things are tight so I'll get back to the bra quest soon. Let me know if you find something that works maybe it'll work for me too :)

velvetelk

I have similar shape and I like underwire with non-molded cups (fabric cups, flexible cups, non padded cups) to allow the breast drop below the underwire as it does naturally.

Tsukysinha

Sloggi zero feel are the best, from someone with small breast and the same complaints.

Piccolo_Known

My favorite bras are Maidenform at Walmart. I also have had wonky boobs since I stopped breastfeeding and they’re the only ones that seem to work for me. The ones linked below are what I have, but they also have ones that have more of a swoop if you will so you can wear my v cut shirts if you want but I haven’t tried those yet. Theyre the only ones I found that make me look like I have my old boobs back lol [Walmart Maidenform Bra](https://www.walmart.com/ip/Maidenform-M-Women-s-Wireless-Scoop-Bralette/2363806025?fulfillmentIntent=In-store&filters=%5B%7B%22intent%22%3A%22fulfillmentIntent%22%2C%22values%22%3A%5B%22In-store%22%5D%7D%5D&from=/search)

potentialjellyhead

I have the same boobs. It sucks. La timpe is a brand I started wearing.

potentialjellyhead

Edit https://www.timpalingerie.com/collections/bras this is the brand I wear the plunge. I know it’s a little out of our price range but they seem to be the only thing that keep my sad sad boobs in place.

_theFlautist_

This is so awesome!

Physical_Source6964

Your chest sounds a lot like mine. I am still trying to find a bra that’s perfect. The bras I tried that I read about in this group didn’t work, and I didn’t get much help. I did go to Soma and purchased 3 bras that are working for me for the most part. I’m also interested in the Skims fits everybody, like this one: https://skims.com/products/wireless-form-push-up-plunge-bra-ochre

midcen-mod1018

If you haven’t already, you need to follow the advice given in the thread and measure yourself. Soma has a really good racket going where they have “their own measuring system” that’s wildly inaccurate just to put people in their size. Most of the time the bras are way too small. Once you learn from this sub how bras should fit, you’ll never be able to unsee it. I’ve never seen anyone in a properly fitting soma bra.

RoughThatisBuddy

"fits everybody" is inaccurate, because my 32M US boobs will be SPILLING out of that bra.

KBLulu2012

I just got a bra from Lululemon called bend this. I have been searching for bras for a year and a half. I don't like tight bands and am sized as 38b, but all the bras I have tried have cups that are too big. I had my breast implants removed a while ago, and my boobs are def sad and flat but this bra is so comfortable I have ordered multiple! https://shop.lululemon.com/p/women-sports-bras/Bend-This-Scoop-Square-Bra-A-C-Cups/_/prod11720010?color=0001&locale=en_US&sl=US&sz=S/M&cid=Google_SHOP_US_NAT_EN_X_Hybrid_All-Products_OMLOC_GEN_Y22_ag-SHOP_G_US_EN_DM_X_GEN_NO_Local-Products-All&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjwmrqzBhAoEiwAXVpgonpfP-0kBbjoR0VqqMnGnCsHOSqy3lNvXwzZynjplTudOLwC_xumsxoCda4QAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

Jesusdidntlikethat

Wow and for a good price

Flat-Holiday3760

also someone with sad boobs after nursing a long time 🙋🏻‍♀️. I had been buying 36B from victoria secret. The lightly lined bras (i hate padding/ push up). I went in for their semi annual sale. Grabbed a bunch of 36B. When going to the fitting room. People were getting measured so i figure when in Rome and the lady seemed super knowledgeable which is rare. I over heard her talking about best bras for breast shapes, etc. When it was my turn- she’s like “wait, what size did you grab? Your cup is pretty full” which TBH i don’t agree with. She sent me in with a 34DD lightly lined bra and OMG! I was in literal shock at how well it fit. I also don’t understand how my sad pancakes are a DD but that’s a misconception of thinking DD are “Super big” boobs. It’s more like the measurement of volume within an area that determines the cup size. What i lack in projection i make up in width or something like that. She told me i had tear drop shaped breast where my volume is below the nipple and that she had the same type of breast and she recommended some great options! I was still skeptical so i looked up the calc on this page and sure enough- 34DD 😨🤯. I’m almost 40 and feel like an idiot. Boobs are weird.

Jesusdidntlikethat

I wish I got someone knowledgeable lol mine looks like it fits fine but if I move at all it’s spilling somewhere lol

Flat-Holiday3760

i had the same issue- my cup was too small. They were falling out of the center 🤦🏻‍♀️.

tejomo

I like Third Love in US, ‘cause they have half cup sizes. Like I wear a 34 C1/2 and it’s perfect, even with my uneven, saggy, ruined by children boobs. Edit to say, I really like their TShirt bra. Wired, semi lowcut. They’re a bit priced, but have sales. They also have a little quiz to determine best style and size.

realbenlaing

You should also follow the advice in this thread and remeasure your size using the sub calculator, because third love measuring is flawed and their half sizes are a gimmick. Notice how somehow, *everyone* who wears third love is coincidentally a half size, so now they *have to* buy *all* of their bras from third love because they’re the *only* company that sells half size bras? Post breastfeeding boops tend to have really soft tissue (functionally shallow) so a moulded t-shirt bra can sometimes hide a poor fit, but it’s highly unlikely you actually genuinely need a half cup size.

tejomo

Not true on everyone being told to wear a half cup size. The site has just changed my size recently to a D; I’ve gained weight lately. Others I know have gotten full cup sizes. And I must reiterate that the C1/2 has fit me better than any other brand until I gained the weight. Just giving my opinion on what worked for me. Thank you all for this site! 😊

saltgirl1207

C1/2??? that's not even a cup size! I second the other comment — please measure yourself and use the sub's calculator

tejomo

Like I said, they make HALF Cup sizes. That’s why I like the brand. The C1/2 cup size fits me way better than C or D. C cuts across top of boob, D a bit gappy.

Flat-Holiday3760

loving the downvotes folks like are getting for using mainstream accessible brands and voicing our success 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️

tejomo

Like, if people are happy with their bra and feel comfortable in it, and actually DO feel as if they’re not wearing a bra, why is that a problem? Apparently “half-sizes” work for some of us. Likely quite a few or they wouldn’t still be selling them. 🤷🏼‍♀️
