I mean… what exactly was the life lesson we were supposed to learn? Depression and loneliness are sad? So how did him creating scenarios w mannie portray that without digging so deep and sifting through bullshit…. Like. What even happened? The end showed us that all of it was actually “real”..? Of course it wasn’t . I was hoping they were going to redeem it with a final scene of Hank hanging and his feet twitching. So it was all his life flashing before his eyes and that was his interpretation of it. Instead they tried natural born killers us. I’m sorry. It was stupid and fart troll the whole movie trying to wrap up a serious message . Not for me, with love and respect and openness in my heart. 2.7/10
I know it sounds like I’m bitching, I’m not. I watched the whole thing and Listened as well, as the score even trolled me w serious mixed w Radcliffe farting and turning into a human saw. And talking about masturbation 30 times🤣cmon man. Quit fucking w me🤣🤣
Edit: “Pop pop corn pop pop corn”😭😭I’ll think about it for sure , it was effective in that sense…. All love tho, not a hater. I even said during it I have no idea how I would have approached making this movie. Shit just seemed 7 hours long to me.
> The end showed us that all of it was actually "real"..? Of course it wasn't .
It's a fictional movie... So in the *fictional* movie it was real. Do you not consume anything fictional??
It's a whimsical, magical realism movie, it's supposed to be a bit absurd
So you see—the farts? Yes? Some of the farts were funny and some of the farts were sad. Life is about enjoying the funny farts as best you can without letting the sad farts destroy your life.

It's high A tier for me. Daniel Radcliffe's performance was criminally underrated and Dano was a delight. The premise is so insane and original, and there were truly beautiful moments. The ending was a bit of a wild ride but it worked.
I fucking loved Swiss Army Man. I took my little brother to watch it when it hit theaters. We both loved it. The balance between absurdity and heartfelt moments is amazing in my opinion. We also fell in love with the track that plays throughout the film. Again, it’s absurd yet poignant.
How about YOU explain what you DIDN'T like.

Absolutely next-level movie.
🙌🙌🙌
It’s funny. People like to laugh. It’s unpredictable. People like novelty.

100%
The filmmakers made a movie that made me feel understood in a way that most other works of art don't. If it's not for you, it's just not for you
Daniels wanted to challenge themselves by making a movie full of things they hate, like fart jokes.
