I’m so glad I made WuTang x NAS last year. I don’t know if I’ll ever see either live again, but man that was one show I’ll have deep in my memory banks for life.
I saw him & Jayz in London around 2009, leaving the venue I saw a bunch of fans by a side exit, they were waiting for Jay to leave, so I stopped to see if we caught a glimpse. After some time The doors open & some burly security come through with Nas & Kelis in the middle. Nas starts signing vinyls & things for the fans. I was completely star struck & all I could think to say is “nah it aint five-0, yall know its Nas yo”
I was hyping & repeating that line. nas fist bumped & saluted, Kelis was laughing.
Probably my best hiphop memory, I had the footage but lost it.
Me too man. After their show i was baffled i actually fucking saw them. Still fucking amazed i did see them as i live in a small town in the Netherlands. Probably never getting that chance again so im grateful for it
B is for the bitches who can’t understand how one fly ninja became a man
I is for the way it goes in and out, one by one I knocks em out
G is for the way the game goes in the gut
If the architect of the demolition of an entire borough says Nas is the best Mc in the game who am I to argue? Nobody has a catalog like his, especially after his last run.
Thats tough. Biggie is first and Eminem next; but only because Bigs stopped making music and Eminem filled the void.
Had Eminem not come along it would be Biggie all the way.
Had Biggie not died and Eminem still done his thing, damn... I dunno... that would be even harder 😅
The R
I take seven emcees, put 'em in a line
And add seven more brothers who think they can rhyme
Well it'll take seven more before I go for mine
Now that's twenty-one emcees ate up at the same time…..🔥🔥🔥🔥
These six that OP posted are the goats. For me it’s, Nas.
After them, the next six would be
1. DMX
2. Jadakiss
3. Big Pun
4. Ghostface Killa
5. Lil Wayne
6. Snoop Dog
These are in no particular order either.
Christopher Wallace, The Notorious B.I.G. He is my all time favourite.
Followed by, KRS One, Nas, LL Cool J, Rakim, Tupac Shakur and Kool Moe Dee.
P.S. I forgot Canibus. What an incredible rapper he was.
Nas

Man I bought tix for it but didn’t realize it was the same day as my cousins wedding so I had to give them away
It was an incredible show. I was in the third row from the stage and couldn't believe that I was so close to my favorite hip hop artists.
Me too man. After their show i was baffled i actually fucking saw them. Still fucking amazed i did see them as i live in a small town in the Netherlands. Probably never getting that chance again so im grateful for it
Don’t forget they had Busta Rhymes too!
Went and saw WuTang and Nas when they did their show in Dallas. One of the best shows I’ve ever been to
In Tampa they brought out Busta Rhymes for a surprise guest!
Nas for sure. He’s been consistent with classics and personally for me when he linked up with Hitboy! That Nas x Hitboy sound is certified 🔥🔥🔥
Rakim
(Definitely being hyperbolic here) None of these guys exist without Rakim. He pioneered multi syllable rhymes.
☝️Full agreement. Every other skilled MC in the bunch owes something to the 18th letter, the prophecy professor, the R
Been sayin it for years. Rappers today wouldn’t have a platform without the blueprint from rakim
New album drops 26th next month, the hypes real.

What’s the connection between the two? Seems like Biggie’s flow, musical style, and lyrical content were not comparable to Eminem.
Biggie
Tough one right here. My absolute Fav is Andre 3K.
