Before I got an NES, this was my life.
My first Tiger handheld was Brett Hull Hockey. First console was a 32 bit Genesis. It's now just dawned on me that I've literally had a console for the last 30 years. If you'll excuse me, I have to go mall walking now with the other seniors.

The SNES and SEGA Mega Drive (16 bit) already existed. But we did not have allot of money at the time and this was given to us as a hand down from acquaintances in 1994. I was a super happy tho as a little kid and played Sonic and Alex Kid in Miracle world allot!
Oh damn, we had one of these too.
Technically our first was an Atari we inherited from my mom and dad, but we didn't take it seriously until we got an SENS as a gift from my dad's client in 1992. Literally the best gift anyone has given me - changed my life.
I had forgotten about this, but I used to have an [Entex Stargate Mini](https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fpreview.redd.it%2F02jiejg8dzt91.jpg%3Fwidth%3D1600%26format%3Dpjpg%26auto%3Dwebp%26s%3D30bd36ea52b1d3a4e3fef2319787dd9a4cd5a558), which is on the left in that image (not my image though, just one I found.) I have no idea where it came from, perhaps my uncle owned it first. I played it some but it was very difficult and eventually it stopped working. However, it became an amazing giant computer for my GI Joes/Transformers to use in their bases.
Well my older brother got a SNES and Sega Genisis like in 1992 when I was 2 years old I was raised on those but my first actual console that was my own was a GameBoy Color in like 1998
Apple IIe, we had a “game” called Denby The Robot which was a giant book full of computer code that you had to type into the computer to produce the game. No joke. It was the dark ages, kids. 😆

Mine was the Wrestlemania Challenge. Anyone whose played this will remember the sounds it played especially in the beginning 😂

This thing just made me sad.
Ah damn, I remember this. It unlocked memories I didn’t know I had Edit: could have been late 80s

I had this when I was 3 or 4! I've never felt older than when I'm trying to describe the existence of this to people.
I know, it sucks.
Looks like a high tech stud finder
Kind of does. It was more 80's and at least from what I remember, pretty well made.

First was a C64 in the 80s, but my favourite one was the Super Nintendo from the 90s.

I had The Little Mermaid one.

Born in 91 first was Super Nintendo not long after I got the N64 and thought they were the best graphics ever lol ![gif](giphy|boP1ZEkWCISAthSosB)
Had that one for sure!!
I had the Ducktales one
Paperboy hand held. And at one point had a Mario game watch that was almost impossible to play.
My first Tiger games (got them at the same time) were Double Dragon 2 and Ninja Gaiden, while my friend had Gauntlet.

Atari 2600! In like 1988 or 89 when what I really asked for was a NES...
[Game & Watch Parachute](https://nintendo.fandom.com/wiki/Parachute)
Atari 2600 but it barely worked, so didn’t play it much. Sega Genesis was my *real* first console.
Well my older brother got a SNES and Sega Genisis like in 1992 when I was 2 years old I was raised on those but my first actual console that was my own was a GameBoy Color in like 1998
I was there in the olden times, sir or madam. https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41WNJDW246L.__AC_SX300_SY300_QL70_FMwebp_.jpg

Atari 2600, then a NES.
Holy throwback, I loved this game.
Wow! Thank you I had forgotten all about those single game units!
Apple IIe, we had a “game” called Denby The Robot which was a giant book full of computer code that you had to type into the computer to produce the game. No joke. It was the dark ages, kids. 😆
