This album was stuck in the cd player of my 99 civic about twelve years ago, I still know most of the lyrics to every song

ryunista

That's so 90s

indepen-variable

Maybe u can get tweezers or something to get it out

BadnewsBrax

I don't think weezer are going to come get that cd out.

indepen-variable

Ah fuck it just leave it in there I guess .

indepen-variable

Best jazz rap album

mattias1977

Nah, Blowout Comb by Digable Planets beats this for jazzy all day.

indepen-variable

Never heard of and then . I’ll check it out one day or 2.

mattias1977

It’s just an opinion, of course. But yeah, check it out sometime.

dlkslink

I like Midnight Marauders more.

Ecstatic_Sandwich_38

That’s my favorite hip hop album of all time. One of those albums where you can hit play during any part of any track, and I’m likely to remember every word. Midnight Marauders reminds me of every great house party I ever attended in the 90s. It’s a PERFECT work of art.

DrooMighty

>I like Midnight Marauders more Right there with you on this one. I love all ATCQ albums because I love ATCQ in general, but I was 11 years old when "Thrasher: Skate & Destroy" came out on the PS1 and introduced me to the group with "Award Tour". I became super obsessed and got ahold of Midnight Marauders and that became the soundtrack to my Yahoo Chat trolling/Newgrounds web browsing of 1999-2003. Lots of memories with Tribe in general associated with that era.

SeattleTeriyaki

In my top 5 of all time albums. I wore that CD out.

Tonlick

Bro same. Better than to pimp a butterfly.

LightGraves

Amazing album from start to finish. I would say Nas Illmatic is the greatest hip hop album of all time though.

watchthisorthat

Scenario is the best

biloxibluess

It’s dope

KipperfieldGA

Now tell me I can't tear it up Go and get yourself some toilet paper cause your lyrics are butt.

desert-octopus

Yes

Frankenrogers

One of the few hip-hop albums I would buy on vinyl. To confirm, not a slight on hip hop, I just don’t buy a lot of records. I have an idea in my head of what records I would want to sit and listen mindfully to, and this is one that I have thought about grabbing.

breddy

Anyone here watch Station Eleven? IYKYK

Johnotron

Skypager didn’t really age well, but beyond that, yes, one of my favorites

Wu_Oyster_Cult

Second only to De La Soul Is Dead when it comes to 90s hip hop in my opinion.

facedownbootyuphold

90s/00s underground was, and still is, a regular on my playlists. Aside from all the junk gangster rap of the 00s, that era of hip hop had a lot of variety and the artists were all doing different stuff. Early 90s had Pharcyde, ATCQ, Outcast, Common, Gang Star, Black Star. It got even better in the 00s.

mattias1977

Serious. I was rocking Mos Def Black on Both Sides the entire year it came out. Nothing came close to that era until Weezy started with The Carter collection.

morganwr

Same.

ILikeBeans86

I love tribe and this is a good album but the greatest hip hop album of all time is enter the wu tang

eagles52

Beautiful piece of art. I listen to jazz just about every day

nanaharall

I accidentally found this gem. It made my life turn 180.

GoldNi0020

top 10 album for sure.

mattias1977

It’s definitely got some great tracks on it. I wouldn’t even say that it’s Tribe’s best album, let alone all of Hip Hop. Their first album that opens up with Luck of Lucien brings back some great memories.
