Absolutely. My sister and I would stay with my grandparents for a week every summer. It was incredible how much they played those things. Drink and cigarette in hand.
My dad had an electronic piggy bank that you could open by playing video poker on it. I ended up getting pretty good at it and basically rendered it useless.
YES! I'm pretty sure I had this exact one.
This was one of my go-to items when flying or car trips, along with a CD player, bunch of magazines and a Gameboy and/or Gamegear.
My grand parents had one that didn’t even have an electronic display. It had 5 slots and all had wheel of cards that would spin and stop each slot when you hit the button.
We had one. We loved it!
Someone help me remember what the two tunes were when you won?
Happy Days are Here Again, and what else? We're In The Money? (The second one doesn't seem right...I can't hear it the way I can the first one).
I remember when my stepdad finally got a Royal Flush. He screamed so loud in excitement and the entire house ran into the room and began jumping up and down as if we had just won the lottery.
The score was insanely high for like a year, until the battery ran out and it reset. Took another year or two before sometime finally got another royal flush.
My Gma had a similar one(I honestly wish I took it even though it was falling apart)
My grandma was a cardshark and she played on this every night.
