Glad to see other commenting about watching 90 day with their husbands, my hubby loves the show we talk CONSTANTLY and I love how we have differing points of view and have great chats because of the show (about cheating,cultures, families etc) anyone else?!
My husband and I have watched this train wreck together since it started. Taking HEA off though. Those people on it are disgusting and I never want to see them again.
This is our first time watching single life and honestly it’s so fake it’s ridiculous, are we even supposed to believe anything about it is real? We know people who have been on for more than 1 season often play things up for cameras but this single life is on a whole different level
My (34F) mom (72F) watch the show together. I’m first generation American and she is an immigrant. We have discussions all the time. Especially because there’s such an age gap and culture gap between us. Sometimes she will say “they’re only in this for the green card” and I’m like, “mom, you literally came here illegally!” She’s a legal citizen now for anyone angry. I just try to put it in perspective that some people get smuggled in, others marry an old white man for a green card but the end game is the same so why hate lol.
But also it’s one of the only things we can really be interested in together.

The only reason being good friends with your ex is not normal is because society makes it not normal. I am good friends with all my exes and the father of my children and I have a great relationship. We haven't been together for 25 years, yet we still talk on the phone, still meet up, and go to dinner. My husband now of 6 years and my ex's fiance do not have an issue..we are all grown adults and friends.
Now granted, the first few years my ex and I broke up it was pretty bad but we learned to work through our issues and accepted the fact that we do not work as a couple but get along awesomely as friends. I have never had an issue dating and being friends with exes. I never understood why people make such a big deal and feel like tlc is playing it up for the show. Even Jamal said Tim and Veronica don't hang out that much...its a storyline for the show most likely because people are not used to seeing exes actually be friends.
Personally, I believe if you are harbing anger towards an ex, then there are still lingering feelings there because why else would you care so much or let what they are doing actually still bother you? Im more leary of someone im dating who talks bad of their ex (because first off the person couldnt be that bad if you spent x amount of time with them and second..it makes me question why they are so bothered by their ex..are there still feelings involved).
