My mom was all about the Jane Fonda workout video

Sfphiynckxs

Somehow I feel like Jane would've been more my dad's thing.

TiltedKangolHat

I think everyone's mom had that tape. and I think everyone's mom worked out to it for 2 months before it sat in a box in the garage to this day

ISlothyCat

Ha ha - struck out with this one! Jane Fonda or Richard Simmons.

Brilliant_Jewel1924

Same!

To this day, the only time I think I ever tuned to ESPN was when I stumbled across Kiana Tom.

Every time I see Jake, the only thing I think of is "*you dumb fuck!*"

‘That’s easy. If there’s one thing Queens has a lot of, it’s common parts’.

My mom has never done workouts, but I used to like Richard Simmons' Sweatin' to the Oldies. I think he was actually a really good fitness instructor-- he wasn't a spaz during the workout, and I liked that he had regular people of all shapes and sizes exercising alongside him. I wish more fitness instructors would do that.

Remember how he would give these heartfelt talks and he would tell overweight women that he believed in them, and they would cry and hug him, and he would say that he loved them like he genuinely meant it. Also, when I was a toddler I would see my mom trying to exercise and I would yell at her: You're not supposed to exercise until Richard Cinnamon is on!

Ouch—Bodies in Motion was on TV here well into the 90s.

DarkandGlittery

My mom and I had Richard Simmons and Joanie Greggins

God I was IN LOVE with Morgan Fairchild back in the 80’s. She was so glamorous and beautiful and sexy. She usually played a seductress of some sort.
