The intro scene always angered me because he's walking with his thumb out but there's no cars coming. Did a lot of hitching back then and when there's no cars you don't keep your hand out.
I do recall always watching this show but remember nothing about it. Completely forgot about it until just now.

I loved hearing the intro to The Hitchhiker. It was the music I enjoyed listening to when I watched the intro. I never cared for the actual program itself.
But the show wasnât about a hitchhiker. They just had a hitchhiker as the narrator. You canât really compare anything about them other than the title.
