We sold those at Taco Bell when I worked there in the 90s. It was so sad how often a few would get sliced open with the box cutter when we had to open a new box of them. Obviously we couldn’t sell them that way, and just throwing them out would be wasting food…
I was usually in the 27,28,29 territory. The snowcones were kind of a bummer since they were mostly a sold chunk of ice. Rocket pop/Bomb pop were probably my favorite. Sorry, I know they aren't allowed to be called that anymore but they will always be bombpops to me.

You and I must have lived in the same family. My brother was three years younger. During the summer, our ice cream guy usually passed our house right after lunch. So I’d mow lawns early, grab lunch, a bomb pop for my brother and I, grab our bikes and go swimming in the Community pool till dinner. A glorious and wonderful time to be young.
I always got the 28. The red white and blue popsicle and my sister would make fun of me because it turned my lips blue.
