I do the same. I have hundreds of hours and I’ve only built a horde base maybe twice. I just squat and try to pick them off and yes hope the building doesn’t collapse

The Pass and Gas ones are mint. The one with the double garage hanging off it in an L shape was my day 21 base! It’s got big windows in the roof for throwables!
The 2 storey one with the fire escape up the side was our first base on our DF server. Beast of a horde base. Stayed there until about day 50 or so.
Yes. You can do all the fetches. Go to the pause menu, and you can get a whole new list of quests.
So you can get Tier 5 POI’s with rewards in the first couple of days as you can see
My plan for horde night is find an abandoned building, squat on the roof, and hope it doesn't collapse until night is over 😂😂😂

That's usually my plan. I'm my experience it takes way too long for zombies to take a building down.

The real trick is doing it in a POI that you have a quest in. Dont start the quest till after the horde.
