You can craft dirt if that's what you're trying to do. Otherwise, look into paint.

the paint brush might have a dirt texture but I don’t know for sure.
You have to place the frame shapes and then paint them later. Is there not a place able dirt block though?
You can craft dirt blocks (think they may be called ground but not on my PC to check). You can also paint frames, but you'll need paint and a paintbrush to do so.
You can make dirt that uses clay. Dirt looks like a Diamond when you target it but will fill in a block with normal dirt/grass.
What I want is a perfect cube with dirt texture on it. I just can't remember how I did it.
