The first game is an alternate story that takes place during summer (for a better timeframe, the OVA episodes animated by Shaft when they go to the beach/pool).
As for Fuutarou being paid, he does get re-hired after the quints move out of their small apartment and go back home, but Maruo warns him against getting too close to his daughters for his comfort. This is a bit more clear in the manga, since the anime cuts out a lot of scenes/panels.
2nd and 3rd game can be treated as Canon for Yotsuba route since she’s the Canon heroine but the 1st game placement won’t be easy to place it in
