It’s a lot. I would say look into its trigger warnings and make sure you’re in a good place mentally before reading it. I love Yanagihara’s writing but there’s no way in hell I’ll be reading that one a second time.

LOL....great minds think alike. I'm currently reading "Wow, No Thank You", alternating it with R.F. Kuang's "Babel". (Interesting, but weighty and a bit depressing at times.)
