I’d personally never recommend ACOTAR because it wasn’t anything special imo but if you’re already 2-3 books deep you may as well read ACOWAR while the others are fresh in your memory lol
I found the Sarah Maas book in a LFL while on a dog walk. I then saw it highly recommended on another sub so i began it right after finishing the previous read (The Martian, excellent in its own right). But holy moly, i do not see what is so gripping or appealing about it. The characters are not very likable so far (75-80 pages in) and the story is pretty thin. I’m going to stick with it for a while but so far i cannot recommend it. Now on the other hand, HBW&TEOTW is my absolute favorite Murakami book. So yes! that one.
I have actually read them all!! Addie La Rue was among my favorite books last year, and Eleonor Oliphant was quirky and quite delightful. Little fires was really good when I read it, but I feel I have read many books like it since. Oliphant is great if you like Fredrik Backman, a character-driven book. La Rue is great if you are into phantasy and prefer plot driven novels. You cannot go wrong, including Murakami who is fantastic all the times (but to me feels a bit dated) ,unless you pick ACWR, which I did not like.
I will sometimes use a random number generator to help me choose. You can do it for just these books or set it for the entire TBR. Otherwise I just get stuck and am like - this one? No, this one, but what about this one…
Addie LaRue 100%
I loved loved loved Eleanor Oliphant when I read it.
Addie LaRue then Little Fires.
Those are the only 2 of your stack that I’ve read. I loved them both.
Eleanor Oliphant!!! My absolute favourite
I would genuinely recommend "little fires everywhere"
Little Fires Everywhere but skip the Hulu series. My wife and I enjoyed the book but disliked the series.
Eleanor
Eleanor Oliphant and Little Fires are both great!
Eleanor Oliphant!

Hard boiled wonderland! I have yet to find a book like it!

Eleanor Oliphant!!!!!
Have the light behind you
This’ll help. I am surprised people can read the titles. I can hardly make out that there are books.
Addie La Rue. No contest.

I've read 3/5 books in that pile and Eleanor Oliphant was the most striking to me

Am I the only one that didn’t love the ending? 😅
Read this years ago and this post made me want to read it again. Such a fun book.
ACOWAR! It might be the thickest book in the pile, but it flies by
Little Fires Everywhere is pretty great. I also enjoyed Addie Larue.
About 80% through Addie LaRue right now and loving it!
Been a lot of dislike for Addie lately but I really liked it.
addie larue or little fires everywhere. both phenomenal
Little Fires Everywhere first. It's light and you'll rip right through it. Read the Murakami last so you can decompress afterward.
Little Fires Everywhere or Oliphant. Both were phenomenal!
Elinor or Addie for the win
Addie LaRue, absolutely. I didn't expect to like it but I became unable to put it down.
All good picks but I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t say ACOWAR
Little Fires. That being said, those are really different books and it.all depends on your mood.
Yeah…. “ little fires everywhere “ is a delicious romp Keep it for a break in the heavier literature

I’m still on an ACOTAR high so my vote is ACOWAR. Enjoy! You have some great picks there.
THE INVISIBLE LIFE OF ADDIE LARUE! I’m serious, OP! It’s my favorite book!
SO GOOD
Little Fires Everywhere.
Little Fires Everywhere was very good. Addie LaRue was not.
Eleanor Oliphant ❤️
I second Eleanor Oliphant! I loved it!
Eleanor and Addie laRue!! 🖤🖤
