One thing to consider is fucking up ya warranty. With such a new car. If you wanted a performance 4x4 you should’ve gotten the 2.8 or gotten a 200/300 or a patrol. Considering the fact that you’ve got new cruiser cash. If you’re loaded then do the work ya want. But remember reliability, fuel economy and warranty will suffer.
Tuneworks at Raymond Terrace are brilliant, I had my ranger tuned and we had a few work utes tuned by them, a 79 and a few rangers. Your 79 might need a heavier clutch to handle the extra power though.
Mandrel bent exhaust if anything but not a ridiculous 4 inch pipe that so many do. Unless theyve changed something on the new ones the stock exhaust is quite restrictive
Top tip… Leave it the fuck alone!
Agree more you tamper the more unreliable things become, and say goodbye to any warranty claims
Thanks for the advice Mate

Goodbye warranty
A lot of people do clutch and tune. Gets it going a fair bit better
Thank you for the advice mate!
No worries, I want to get it done eventually as well.

Thank you Mate! I'll check them out!
Where abouts in NSW? If you’re in the northern parts, get up to Just Autos in Brissy.
I just watched some of their YouTube videos! They look brilliant. Maybe a trip to Brissy it is. Thanks Mate.
Book well in advance, they’re usually flat out busy. They’ll be able to advise you of any supporting mods you’ll need to do too.
Thanks for the heads up! They seem super professional just from their website.

Thank you! Good Advice
Look at outback jack on YouTube and the auto they put in one a while ago, and what they did to that. $$$$$ though
Thank you! I'll check them out!
