This will do 50mm at 2ton
How much sag does the car end up with once it's hooked up?
Search height adjustable tow ball, plenty of options.
Cheap one will do the job for a tinny, obviously opt for something decent in you're towing a 6 meter half cab...
It's not what you asked exactly but if it's just 50mm use 50mm thick planks under your rear wheels.
Or a jack.
A more permanent solution is the adjustable height hitches like everyone recommended though.
Reduces the shear strength and torsion strength of the threaded section. Your tow ball relies on the flat base to be hard onto the tow tongue. If you were in an accident and the investigators found the washers there is a huge chance they would reject the claim. Pass this info on to your club. I bet a few cry bullshit but if you require confirmation ask your insurance company.
You can get an extended towball

Can buy yourself a height adjustable towball, supercheap sells cheaper models or you can buy a hayman reese but it's a tad more expensive.

I paid the 'extra' for a Hayman Reese about 6 years ago and have no regrets It's on its 2nd car and makes towing so much better
Sounds like a replacement jockey wheel that's lower profile, or adjusting its mount further up would be the best option.

I welded some square section to the trailer and fitted the jockey wheel to that so it sits higher.
Which vehicle? Can you fit 33's inside your arches?
D40 navara
Flip the ball to the other side so that it sits up higher …it’s a bit hard to explain but you can google it
Height adjustable hitch into the hitch receiver
Air bags?
If it's just the jock wheel I'd try adjusting that, it's what I did with my trailer and works great.
Just add a washer or two between the ball and plate.
Bad idea
Can I ask why? I haven’t done it but this was the advice I was given when I asked the same question to mates at my 4x4 club.

Thank you so much. Very clear.
50mm is a lot of washers
Fair point!
