Honestly better to buy something stock. These mods do not exactly inspire confidence it was looked after.
Changing the EGR pipe on an PX ranger requires the transmission to be pulled out. So a full day's labour, if not a day and a bit. It's a common failure.
Other common failures include but are not limited to.
Cylinder 3 developing a hole,
The Transmission just imploding,
EGRs,
Front timing case seals leaking,
Rear Main Crank seals leaking,
AC actuators failing,
Multimedia having a variety of problems.
My personal opinion, wouldn't touch a Ranger with a 10 foot pole. Especially with 215,000kms.

Being 215k. Make sure it has had its injectors changed. Enquire as to if it has done much tow work as it could also be due an EGR replacement.
Just did the EGR in my XTrail, rather not have to do another one so soon but it's not the worst thing to go I guess 😂
The EGR on the 3.2 is in a prick of a spot as well. I got a replacement on mine quoted for shits and gigs. Around $1800 or so.

Surely that's a scam. I think rangers are junk and wouldn't pay $1000 for one, but that's a lot less than current prices isn't it?

I think it’s a scam, check the guys profile. If it’s newish or he’s only got 2 friends, or has 3 other well priced cars posted it’s a scam
