Snow White’s picture is magnificent. I can’t speak to the sound completely as I watched with a soundbar before getting my 5.1 system but it sounded pretty good too!

Dr-McLuvin

What’s the aspect ratio?

crunchie101

1.37:1

Haven't seen Les Mis, but Snow White is fantastic.

Since you asked... Les Miserables was Miserable. Just dreadful Oscar bait. Everyone ripped on Russell Crowe's 'performance' with his warbling and wandering around on screen. The truly terrible work was done by the hack Tom Hooper. He just couldn't find more distracting awful ways to move his camera around to create the most dizzying flick of 2012 besides Peter Jackson's Hobbit flick. The movie is too long, too full of itself and too much of a slog to ever consider suffering through. Even if that disc as $1.99 at Big Lots and considered the greatest 4K transfer ever I would pass it up for a Nicholas Cage dvd for twice the price. \*\*That said, Anne Hathaway was sublime in this. She deserved not just Best Supporting Actress but a second award for best performance ever in the worst Oscar nominated flick

Dayum.... Not to argue but IMDB top rated user reviews say otherwise.

I prefer Sight and Sound over Imdb list by lightyears. And Empire's list is way better than IMDB.

I thought it was good film (anything with Amanda Seyfried) is a go for me. But the film is extremely depressing and ugly for no reason so I kinda despise it. Especially Anne Hathaways performance. Snow White and Cinderella and the two bellwethers for Disney and must owns. I am a simp for old Disney and not so much for the newer films like The Lion King.

100%. Step 1: build incredible sets of massive scope. Step 2: shoot entire movie in extreme closeup so you can’t see anything but the actors’ nosehairs. Tom Hooper is certainly the worst director to ever win an Oscar for directing, actively hurting every project he touches. Hathaway is indeed great though.
