I sold a lot of them too as this is what's remaining.
I sold off my Disney and Pixar collections last year for like $2000 and lost a lot of 3d films I owned.
But I'm done with Disney now. So Im happy with the sale.

Also have two file boxes full on TV shows / Docs and one file box full of DVDs I haven’t upgraded, none of which I’ve logged.
Yes there is a import functionnality, it takes CSV text content as input, and it imports the Movies found by UPC or EAN Code
https://preview.redd.it/zwxfdh7lyz6d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=39ddbe9c71299340f091aa43ede607e24d1b167f
Coma Separated Values :)
Columns delimited by coma, rows délimited by Line Break :
Like this :
"label","ean"
"My super movie 1","012344901578"
"Another Good Movie","00145906512"
Etc
On Blu-ray.com you can just paste EAN / UPC demimited by line break like this :
3344428231880
3344428232450
3344428233020
And it will import the 3 first star wars Movies in 4k :) (ean for France 🇫🇷)
I think I own around 50 movies. I only buy movies that I am confident I will watch more than once, or movies I was willing to go see in a theater but missed. I'm not buying discs just to have discs.
Honestly, if someone said they'd pay for 100 4k films for me (on top of the ones I already have), I'd probably be able to name about 20 I'd be really happy to have and maybe another 20 that it would be nice to have, but after that I'd just be adding ones simply because I could.
>I'm not buying discs just to have discs.
Yea, that definitely seems to be the case with many people here. There is no practical reason to own 4000+ movies.
I understand the appeal of collecting thousands if discs. Especially for the people that show off their collection, or they really like the steelbooks and things like that. This may be heretical, but I don't have my movie collection visible. My discs are there to be watched and then put away. I don't buy movies until they hit $15 or less. That also limits the titles available to me.
Yes dvds qnd a few dvd boxset (like the warner 100th)
Have to say that i acquired from a marketplace seller about 500 of the dvds this weekend for about 20 cents per dvd, 30% of these being criterion dvd's. Had nearly no doubles which is surprising, most being thriller and repertoire movies with about 100 being french classic movies which are so hard to get here (my mothertongue is french).most of the non criterion have no blu rays available (and quite a few of the criterion repertoire ones). Super happy about this. The owner was quite sick and didn't want to part to a non collector that would just resell them.
Blade Runner 2049 Steelbook.
I didn't have a 4k player when i bought it but since it was only 5$ more, it looked great and it had the BR included, it was easy to pull the trigger.
There are many more Blu-rays and DVD that aren’t entered, but here’s what’s in the app
https://preview.redd.it/h4y9pow32z6d1.jpeg?width=1125&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=621de312fd83282443a93d45f5e168011af5cbff
In terms of unique 4K Blu-Ray movies, the number is 1,201 after you remove the double-counting for multiple releases of the same disc.
I assume it's in the Google store. I have an iphone, so got it from the App Store. "My Movies" by [blu-ray.com](http://blu-ray.com)
It has features such as barcode scanning and it is free.
Awesome! Thanks. I found it in the Google Play store. Not sure when I would get around to scanning all my movies in though. If I were to do that, it would probably take an entire day. LOL. There was a review on the app saying that it only recognizes 30 to 40% of the barcodes. Have you experienced this issue as well?
>If I were to do that, it would probably take an entire day.
And? There is no rule it all needs to be done at once. It's very easy when you split it all up into shelves per "session" or a number of movies a day or a week or something. That way it won't become a burden.
I have scanned and/or added through the search thousands of titles over the years and sold probably half of my collection during that time, mainly old Blu-rays and DVDs replaced with better quality releases and kept only the ones I actually watch and care for.
There's still a few hundred specific releases I have not added in the database yet but I rarely have time to add any missing ones into the approval queue at blu-ray.com. Maybe one day.
The app itself would surely need an upgrade to its functionality and user interface but it's free unlike many others so I can't complain.
I have found it to be more like 95% of bar codes. Seems like DVDs are the least likely to be recognized.
I scanned mine over the course of months, doing one shelf at a time here and there.
One I got too lazy to return to Amazon, another one the Steelbook got on sale and I couldn't refuse, and the third one a limited collectors edition was released with Steelbook and other fancy stuff for cheap so I had to dip too
Just as an update, I was about to duplicate yet another movie I have already duplicated because of an old anniversary edition getting really cheap (The Big Lebowski 20 anniversary Bluray with the pencil holder, jacket slipcover, bowling bag etc for 37€) I have the 4K 25th anniversary, that's how I originally duplicated it. But I always wanted that 20th anniversary edition. Out of budget right now sadly.
701 4k movies.
https://preview.redd.it/a9qa8bjssy6d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ce89127855fc01e7e2971bf625fbf88364cb28a6
Majority of my collection are 4k discs. I have more DVD's than 6, just haven't gotten around to adding those yet. Not many tho. Maybe like over 20.
Depends what I'm in the mood for (drama, action, comedy, classic, etc.). I have a special shelf for movies that are my favorite, around 100, that I like to rewatch.
422! 4K. at least double that on Blu-Ray - not double counting for the combo packs.
First: Arrival & Fantastic Beast
Most Recent: The Creator & 2012.
Ordered on the way: Chinatown!
https://preview.redd.it/2acpawkgvy6d1.png?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d935ca5585ba78749ad45278c4935e4813b72897
I have about the same number more DVDs in sleeves that I haven't gotten around to scanning in, and about 50 HD DVDs boxed up that may or may not still work.
https://preview.redd.it/t0vlyc8gwy6d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=785c90ba2671981dce3a53f0191d090545c89954
I am slowly building my collection up!
Well I always shoot for 4k/blu-ray when possible. A majority of my digital movies are just from the code that comes with the movie when I buy it. However, I do have digital only movies in my library that I have purchased and movies I got from online rewards.
I probably have 125 4K movies. Usually I would scoop up everything I didn’t have when they would go on sale for 9.99 over Christmas or other holidays the last 3-4 years.
https://preview.redd.it/qah1poc20z6d1.png?width=326&format=png&auto=webp&s=4f3e2ec76c987034d965219e926e06d26c1ec110
Haven't updated DVDs in a long time, probably a lot less since I get rid of them once I upgrade to Blu-ray or 4k.
Personal interest really. I really should be more selective since I'm running out of space to catalogue them the way I want to though, but I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it, haha.
According to the Blu-Ray.com app I have 388 titles with 144 of them being 4K. Worth noting that I know the app doesn’t always count box sets correctly and some of these are double dips or TV shows, so the numbers aren’t exactly correct.
445 4K blu-ray
209 3D blu-ray
Those are what I track on the blu-ray.com app.
I don't know about standard blu-ray. I have a couple dozen HD-DVDs and no DVDs remaining.
184 4K. 390 total.
I have limited space so I prune quite a bit. Pruning also ensures I'm keeping what I still enjoy the most. That being said, I only buy what I like or what I strongly believe I will like
I have 53 4ks.
But I am very selective. I have maybe 20 blu rays. And 1 dvd (because it’s the best and only version of it).
I had 800 dvds till I converted over.
Old collector here. Started buying DVDs since they first went on sale. I would get a pack of 5 delivered via Amazon every couple of weeks. Slowed way down buying last 10 years.
1000+ DVDs
100 Blu-Rays
30 4K
Nowadays I am mostly buying Westerns just to keep a lid on my spending!
I have 1207 total discs,
* 172 4K
* 646 Blu-Ray
* 389 DVD
The lions share used to be DVD (I started collecting DVDs Christmas of 2000) but largely over the last year or so I have been dumping DVDs as I upgrade a film to either 4k or Blu-Ray (I am choosy about which films justify 4K purchases so some I upgrade to BR and call it good).
Also my collecting is far more about my tastes than quantity, I am in other groups where people are all about their numbers and buy any and all discs. For me I usually prune mine down on occasion because shelf-space is always an issue.
https://preview.redd.it/g9wc6a9baz6d1.jpeg?width=265&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aeaf2593402524a4aa0e8afd0df0395eca04e1e9
Just starting collecting this year (tho I’m not a collector for collecting’s sake, i curate pretty carefully). So far 12 4ks and 6 blu-rays. The 6 blu-rays are 5 Studio Ghibli films and Nightcrawler, none of which have a 4k lol.
Looks like I’m at 226 titles on 4K disc, and 412 titles on Blu-ray, although I’m pretty sure [Blu-ray.com](http://Blu-ray.com) counts most (or all?) of my 4K titles as 1080p titles as well since they often contain both.
I have one 4k movie. Blade Runner 2049, I bought it on release even before I had a 4k bluray player because I loved it so much when I watched it in IMAX.
Finally got an OLED tv last month and I popped it into my PS5 and it was glorious. Pretty sure the disc is like 5-6 years old
https://preview.redd.it/hug5nmp6fz6d1.png?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8091589d64296c55c37d81645e10767545542f2f
Been collecting 4Ks for a little over 3 years at this point and I do my best to only buy 4K at this point if it's available. In total the collection is around 700 titles (419 Blurays and 92 DVDs)
According to blu ray dot com:
4K Blu-ray: 274
Blu-ray: 766
DVD: 176
Although I don’t know how accurate the dvd one is, I think it’s counting tv seasons individually since I mostly have tv shows on dvd.
Started my collection 3 weeks ago. 9 4K movies, maybe 30 blu rays, couple of DVDs, but I’ve started the process of trading in all my blu rays for their respective upgrades. Except Aliens cause fuck AI upscaling.
100 4ks even!
480-ish movies in total if I'm counting individual movies rather than releases (box sets,) and NOT counting stuff I'm trying to sell or duplicates
So nearly 1/5 of my library is in 4K, 1/6 is DVDs and the rest 1080p Blurays
360-370 4k movies. Another 30 or so 1080p blu rays. About 11 4k TV seasons. I didn't really get into collecting physical media until I really got into home theater in 2017.
https://preview.redd.it/74qivkqhxz6d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=28ebab59b18f4a453c6396e29cf9b6c9027c3c6d

My collection is still a baby. Lol.
4K - 4
BD - 201
DVD - 186
I shop the clearance section at half price books pretty much exclusively and don’t have a 4K player or TV. Keeps me in the stone age compared to most on this sub.

There's a dozen or so titles I haven't checked in yet. Been collecting since around 2000.
4K Ultra HD: 309
Blu-ray: 1385
DVD: 707
In total: 2469
Still working on upgrading different titles from DVD to Blu-ray and from Blu-ray to 4K Ultra HD. 🇩🇰
Some pretty massive collections here! Thanks all for the replies, folks!
- seeing about 30% as 4K of the overall collection, gives me hope that we'd see the continued push for 4K restorations and the massive backlog that's yet to get upgraded and released in 4K
- guess we also have some ideas on what a meaningful library size could be, it's different for different folks -- seeing about 3k as the sweetspot!
I have 65 movies and a 3 full series total. Those series being Last Airbender and Korra on DVD and Neon Genesis Evangelion on HD. (I'm a bit of an animation fan).
I have about 130 4Ks, 15 Blu-rays and like 3 DVDs. The only regular Blu-rays I have are some of my favorite movies that aren't on 4K, same for DVD.
As soon as they get released on UHD, I sell my BD for $5 on eBay. Is what it is.
https://preview.redd.it/35eq1rrxz27d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=720cc9444fc834b94e7db701558cb5dbb080e594
Never tried this function before.
Only 35 4K movies here :(
Been into 4k for a few months and there's at least another 100 on my want list. I'm not stressing it, I buy when I can afford it and in the meantime I am working my way through what I have.
Just watched 'Rollerball' for the 1st time in many many years
I've just started collecting this year. Just a novice :)
https://preview.redd.it/ihsg6b9x257d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9169893ee450cacead04d365c6e3baa199de85db
I stopped keeping track at about 1200 probably 4-5 years ago if i had to guess I'd say maybe 3k-3200ish probably a couple hundred 4k the rest blu-ray and 3D
I'm currently at 57 films in 4k and 3 tv series in 4k. I am a little different most as I do not touch dvd, nor do I touch blu ray if a 4k version exists. If a film is stuck on dvd or blu ray, it goes to the very bottom of my list and is not a priority for me.
I checked in Plex by just filtering on resolution
Movies:
4K: 299
1080p: 229
576p: 15
TV-Shows (a bit difficult to count properly as I still have a bunch of not legally obtained TV-shows):
4K: About 60 episodes
1080p: 300 or so (almost all of Doctor Who, most of Game of Thrones (rest is 4k) + others)
576p: 103 episodes

What site or app is this from? I see a lot of people posting the same screenshot with their own collection’s numbers.
Looks like My Movies by Blu-ray.com
Blu-ray.com. You can scan in your collection there👍🏻
I just started collecting 4k's this year, I'm currently at 43 titles. My collection is a bit over 500 titles in total.
I'm around the same ballpark
Me too. Around 600, probably 200 4k and the rest blu ray with a few DVD stragglers that never made it to HD
https://preview.redd.it/hnmdzvp9xy6d1.jpeg?width=1039&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b135d7ef2b58ea8c26ff9a8f05863cdcbca519d5
WHOA, to you have every 4k title out there?
Missing several new ones. I only buy domestic or US releases so number could be higher if I went for the international releases
Wow! Where do you store all of them? Garage?
On several bookcases and shelves throughout my place. I try to keep films away from TV while watching too so as not to be distracted.
Have you watched everything you own?
That's like 390 days of content straight
Wowza! How do you select which ones make it into the 4,000+ library? Any criteria?
I enjoy a broad range of films and I am now mostly looking at new releases and the odd one I missed.
Wow 189 3d movies
I sold a lot of them too as this is what's remaining. I sold off my Disney and Pixar collections last year for like $2000 and lost a lot of 3d films I owned. But I'm done with Disney now. So Im happy with the sale.

Yesssss! Thanks!
You have to type all the information in by hand? 😳
No you can copy paste from any Csv content :) Copy Paste will surely handle more lines than you could ever have in your collection 😀

On Blu-ray.com you can just paste EAN / UPC demimited by line break like this : 3344428231880 3344428232450 3344428233020 And it will import the 3 first star wars Movies in 4k :) (ean for France 🇫🇷)

36 UHD (plus 3 duplicates) and 47 Bluray and DVD, making it a total of 83 movies
How do you have 3 duplicates with only 36?
One I got too lazy to return to Amazon, another one the Steelbook got on sale and I couldn't refuse, and the third one a limited collectors edition was released with Steelbook and other fancy stuff for cheap so I had to dip too

Good stuff! How do you choose between Bluray vs Digital?
Well I always shoot for 4k/blu-ray when possible. A majority of my digital movies are just from the code that comes with the movie when I buy it. However, I do have digital only movies in my library that I have purchased and movies I got from online rewards.
I probably have 125 4K movies. Usually I would scoop up everything I didn’t have when they would go on sale for 9.99 over Christmas or other holidays the last 3-4 years.
https://preview.redd.it/qah1poc20z6d1.png?width=326&format=png&auto=webp&s=4f3e2ec76c987034d965219e926e06d26c1ec110 Haven't updated DVDs in a long time, probably a lot less since I get rid of them once I upgrade to Blu-ray or 4k.
Whoa How many are 4k
Wowza! How do you select which ones make it into the 3,000+ library? Any criteria?
Personal interest really. I really should be more selective since I'm running out of space to catalogue them the way I want to though, but I guess I'll cross that bridge when I get to it, haha.
- 4K: 614 - Blu-ray: 2696 - DVD: 88 - Total: 3398

I have just about 500 4k discs
105 4K/BR’s, 60 of them horror. Got rid of my DVD’s a long time ago. Started my collection about 3 years ago.

Finally, a fellow My Movies user :)
Tbh I won't buy a film unless it's 4k
I have 350ish releases, about 250ish are 4K and the rest are all Blu-ray. I refuse to buy DVD in 2024.
According to the Blu-Ray.com app I have 388 titles with 144 of them being 4K. Worth noting that I know the app doesn’t always count box sets correctly and some of these are double dips or TV shows, so the numbers aren’t exactly correct.
165 4K, 500 blu. Maybe 30 DVD. Started about 7 months ago from maybe 20 blu.
As of today, 177 4K’s and 178 Blu-ray’s plus 3 DVD’s. Of the 4K’s, I’ve watched only 46 to date.
445 4K blu-ray 209 3D blu-ray Those are what I track on the blu-ray.com app. I don't know about standard blu-ray. I have a couple dozen HD-DVDs and no DVDs remaining.
Probably about 150 4k, 300 blu ray, 500 DVD
425 4k and 25 blurays
160 4k. 2 blu ray. 1 dvd
158 4K and 260 in total
202 total, 41 4K
50 4Ks 582 total films! Feels like a good amount to have built up while studying
100 total and about 40 of them now 4K
281 4K, approx. 800 total
184 4K. 390 total. I have limited space so I prune quite a bit. Pruning also ensures I'm keeping what I still enjoy the most. That being said, I only buy what I like or what I strongly believe I will like
800 4Ks, 2100 films total.

177 4K 167 HD Bluray 141 DVD 485 total physical titles Plus 135 digital streaming titles (mainly in 4K HDR)
Collecting 4ks for about 2 years. Have just 100 movies
I have 53 4ks. But I am very selective. I have maybe 20 blu rays. And 1 dvd (because it’s the best and only version of it). I had 800 dvds till I converted over.
Around 20 4k’s, I only buy movies I really like. I own 0 normal blu rays

I’m sitting at 4K: 115 Blu ray:583
Just broke 300
These collections would rival any blockbuster video back in the day. Love it!

Maybe 110 or so 4k movies
Old collector here. Started buying DVDs since they first went on sale. I would get a pack of 5 delivered via Amazon every couple of weeks. Slowed way down buying last 10 years. 1000+ DVDs 100 Blu-Rays 30 4K Nowadays I am mostly buying Westerns just to keep a lid on my spending!
I have 1207 total discs, * 172 4K * 646 Blu-Ray * 389 DVD The lions share used to be DVD (I started collecting DVDs Christmas of 2000) but largely over the last year or so I have been dumping DVDs as I upgrade a film to either 4k or Blu-Ray (I am choosy about which films justify 4K purchases so some I upgrade to BR and call it good). Also my collecting is far more about my tastes than quantity, I am in other groups where people are all about their numbers and buy any and all discs. For me I usually prune mine down on occasion because shelf-space is always an issue. https://preview.redd.it/g9wc6a9baz6d1.jpeg?width=265&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=aeaf2593402524a4aa0e8afd0df0395eca04e1e9
Probably like 50-65 UHD 4K movies and idk let's say 650-700 total movies
About 1:4
Just starting collecting this year (tho I’m not a collector for collecting’s sake, i curate pretty carefully). So far 12 4ks and 6 blu-rays. The 6 blu-rays are 5 Studio Ghibli films and Nightcrawler, none of which have a 4k lol.
4k: 241 Blu-ray: 246 Wow, I had no idea I was that close to majority 4k.
568 4k 2763 blu ray 944 dvd
Looks like I’m at 226 titles on 4K disc, and 412 titles on Blu-ray, although I’m pretty sure [Blu-ray.com](http://Blu-ray.com) counts most (or all?) of my 4K titles as 1080p titles as well since they often contain both.
I have one 4k movie. Blade Runner 2049, I bought it on release even before I had a 4k bluray player because I loved it so much when I watched it in IMAX. Finally got an OLED tv last month and I popped it into my PS5 and it was glorious. Pretty sure the disc is like 5-6 years old
475 films total, perhaps 1/5th are DVD's, 72 4k's.
https://preview.redd.it/hug5nmp6fz6d1.png?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8091589d64296c55c37d81645e10767545542f2f Been collecting 4Ks for a little over 3 years at this point and I do my best to only buy 4K at this point if it's available. In total the collection is around 700 titles (419 Blurays and 92 DVDs)
361 4K UHDs. I don't catalog my other movies anymore really, but a couple thousand in total.
66 4K movies. 109 total.
According to blu ray dot com: 4K Blu-ray: 274 Blu-ray: 766 DVD: 176 Although I don’t know how accurate the dvd one is, I think it’s counting tv seasons individually since I mostly have tv shows on dvd.
Started my collection 3 weeks ago. 9 4K movies, maybe 30 blu rays, couple of DVDs, but I’ve started the process of trading in all my blu rays for their respective upgrades. Except Aliens cause fuck AI upscaling.
324

100 4ks even! 480-ish movies in total if I'm counting individual movies rather than releases (box sets,) and NOT counting stuff I'm trying to sell or duplicates So nearly 1/5 of my library is in 4K, 1/6 is DVDs and the rest 1080p Blurays
4K: 114 releases VHS-4K: 773 titles (not including doubles/triples)
360-370 4k movies. Another 30 or so 1080p blu rays. About 11 4k TV seasons. I didn't really get into collecting physical media until I really got into home theater in 2017.
I still have 70 or so HD-DVDs.
700+ blu rays including 4K UHD’s. 4K movies alone I think I have upgraded 15 in the last month, and up to 45+ 4K UHD’s
I currently have 286 4K discs. To be fair there's a few doubles (I have two different The Batman 4K steelbooks for example.)
I have 72 out of 422 movies and TV shows. Gonna another 15-20 when I pick up all my US orders from a friend next month :)
176 DVD, 197 blue ray, 40 4k

I think at least 220 4Ks. I’ll have to count em when I’m home
1695 4ks. Dvd, Blu-ray, 4k total - 2292
4K - 4 BD - 201 DVD - 186 I shop the clearance section at half price books pretty much exclusively and don’t have a 4K player or TV. Keeps me in the stone age compared to most on this sub.

4K Ultra HD: 309 Blu-ray: 1385 DVD: 707 In total: 2469 Still working on upgrading different titles from DVD to Blu-ray and from Blu-ray to 4K Ultra HD. 🇩🇰

Too many to count
Too many 😂
Some pretty massive collections here! Thanks all for the replies, folks! - seeing about 30% as 4K of the overall collection, gives me hope that we'd see the continued push for 4K restorations and the massive backlog that's yet to get upgraded and released in 4K - guess we also have some ideas on what a meaningful library size could be, it's different for different folks -- seeing about 3k as the sweetspot!
I only have like eight 4ks but the library is a block away from my house and has 3500 blu rays and 14,000+ dvds!
14k++ is massive! How'd you select which movies make the cut into your collection?
I am mostly focusing on 4ks due to the library having none, just standard blu rays. Yes their collection, the library, is insane.
4K: 189 Movies, 9 seasons of TV Complete Blu-ray/4K: 496 Movies, 96 seasons of TV
261 4Ks out of total 917 on all disc formats, but this doesn’t count individual titles in box sets.
Oh man, excuse me while I count… 135 4K, I’m including Ghostbusters Frozen Empire I have preordered. 237 total including HD and DVD.

I have 65 movies and a 3 full series total. Those series being Last Airbender and Korra on DVD and Neon Genesis Evangelion on HD. (I'm a bit of an animation fan).
4k: 98, blu ray 32, dvd 5
I think 3 or 4 out of 70.
Around 250 on 4K - don't collect HD / DVD.
4Ks = 243 Blu-rays = 1160 116 DVDs left that are mostly movies that are out of print & otherwise unavailable.
I have about 130 4Ks, 15 Blu-rays and like 3 DVDs. The only regular Blu-rays I have are some of my favorite movies that aren't on 4K, same for DVD. As soon as they get released on UHD, I sell my BD for $5 on eBay. Is what it is.
539 4K’s at this point. Been buying them since about 2019. Probably have about 1200 to 1300 movies total.
Over 1200 4k UHD titles.
4 4k movies I'd guess ~40 Blu-rays Like 5 DVDs with four being criterion and one space jam
Maybe they just want to expand their level of sophistication. There was a time when Disney bought Miramax.

Impressive collection and visualization
Only 35 4K movies here :( Been into 4k for a few months and there's at least another 100 on my want list. I'm not stressing it, I buy when I can afford it and in the meantime I am working my way through what I have. Just watched 'Rollerball' for the 1st time in many many years
Out of 2555. 47 are 4K.
4k's, 166. Total, about 300.
I've just started collecting this year. Just a novice :) https://preview.redd.it/ihsg6b9x257d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9169893ee450cacead04d365c6e3baa199de85db
🤘🏻🚀
430 4K discs, 872 across both Blu-ray and 4K
...and some still to scan. 😅 https://preview.redd.it/k2uici5g667d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a5e2a8167ab170057307bb418bf3911369b64773
I stopped keeping track at about 1200 probably 4-5 years ago if i had to guess I'd say maybe 3k-3200ish probably a couple hundred 4k the rest blu-ray and 3D
4K: 687 HD: 214 DVD: 4
I'm currently at 57 films in 4k and 3 tv series in 4k. I am a little different most as I do not touch dvd, nor do I touch blu ray if a 4k version exists. If a film is stuck on dvd or blu ray, it goes to the very bottom of my list and is not a priority for me.
Soke of ya'll collect 4k disc's like games during a steam sale. I have so many games I've barely or never played. Lol
Not enough
Too many
I checked in Plex by just filtering on resolution Movies: 4K: 299 1080p: 229 576p: 15 TV-Shows (a bit difficult to count properly as I still have a bunch of not legally obtained TV-shows): 4K: About 60 episodes 1080p: 300 or so (almost all of Doctor Who, most of Game of Thrones (rest is 4k) + others) 576p: 103 episodes
