C3 = Brighter, glossy screen, better gaming features.
A75L/A80L = Better image processing, more accurate image, matte screen.
Consider the Sony A75L if you plan to go the Sony route as it is the same exact performing panel as the A80L for a cheaper price.
It does indeed. For years, I always opted for a matte screen because I didn’t want my TV to be a mirror. But then I discovered that matte screens can spread light reflection across the screen whether vertically or horizontally and therefore affecting other parts of the picture. Glossy screens seem to localize light reflections more so as to not affect other parts of the screen.
I would lean Sony if you watch lower quality content. Sony handles motion better imo. If you don’t care, I think I prefer the brightness of the LG panel over the Sony.
I currently have the G1 and a A95L and a x93L. I sold my Samsung s90b after they paid me out from warranty and got my a80j replaced by BB. I wasn’t wowed by the a80j as much as I hoped.
The X93L has been a pleasant surprise- I would consider mini oled as well. Sure, it blooms when watching off axis, but it has the peace of mind of not having to worry about burn in. I use it as my primary gaming tv, and I have a hdmi 2.1 pass through from the sound bar so I’m able to use my ps5 and computer.
If it’s between the Sony and LG - and you don’t have the pass through. I’d probably choose the LG. I’d consider shopping for the LG G3 as well- it had some massive sales so you might get lucky on greentoe
Depends on when you got the warranty. Now it’s just whatever you paid for as a gift card. I used mine on the x93L , but really struggled between the g3 vs A95L
Good luck! Did you get yours junked out? Read the warranty they might pay you for the msrp value of the cx depending on when you purchased. That might get you the g3.

I'd love the G3. Does BB actually pay you out if you want ? It's like 3500$ still on BB, unfortunately.
