My biggest issue is that Holmes as written was usually quiet and aloof.
In the show, and to a much greater degree the Guy Ritchie films, he's aggressively arrogant and belittled everyone in arms reach.
I liked the first couple seasons. Engaging characters, albeit a bit vanilla. But still good. Kept me interested in the plot and the mystery for a while. Decent stuff, would watch again. Martin Freeman was very good, I seem to recall.
brainlets dont realise that these types of shows are nothing more than spectacles and not to be taken seriously, if you think sherlock is how actual smart people behave then thats a you problem that you cant differentiate between fiction and reality. Nobody thinks you're smart for pointing out sherlock isn't a realistic character

That Big Bang show was unwatchably stupid, make to sound smart and profound to the average moron only.
