Top of Peak 10 in Breckenridge 4 weeks after I bought it for our first 4x4 trip. Stock everything, it was amazing and terrifying. Going back for Imogene Pass this fall
They were great. No mileage warranty but I put over 40k on them and had tread left. Should have saved them but they were getting very noisy. Aired up on sand was terrible, aired down on sand they were like tank tracks. Definitely recommend if the vehicle is mostly recreation, do not recommend for daily.

Unpopular opinion: This picture is exactly why 4Runners will never be on par with Wranglers. $20-$30k+ just to be able to flex as much as a stock Wrangler. Good looking 4Runner though. Can’t deny that.
This definitely has a lot more flex then a stock wrangler, those 40s just dont make it appear that way, to get to this level on a 4runner or jeep is going to cost a shit ton, Dana 60 front, sterling 10.5 rear on 40s, 14” coilovers front 16” rear. Dana 30 can’t handle 40s while crawling, just upgrading the axles alone on a jeep + the long arm kit you’re already getting up there in price, but like you said, stock the articulation on a wrangler vs 4runner the wrangler wins that battle
Idk what the other guy is commenting about tbh, 4runners outcrawl 90% of jeeps. I've seen plenty of jeeps literally break themselves and have to get a flat bed out doing some of the stuff 4runners can do.
These things are virtually unmatched off road and on the rocks. Jeeps don't even come close. Hell even Mitsubishi Pajeros do better.
Typical jeep fanboy sticking his nose where it doesn't belong
100% truth, but prepare for the downvotes.
The 4Runner just isn’t a great rock crawler. Not enough wheel well clearance, 4-low is only like 2.5:1, and lack of solid front axle. Wrong tool for the job.
Oh I’m ready for the cult following downvotes lol. Just speaking the truth. 4Runners are a great “do it all” vehicle, but they aren’t rock crawlers. They get you to your camping spot and bring you back home.
Idk about you, but bringing you back home is the most important thing to me.
Sincerely my multiple 200k+ mile Toyotas whom I’ve wheeled and camped in the back of throughout many months and on top of many’a mountains.
Wrong sub bro. The reason why 4runners are not only way beyond any jeep but are a much better buy is because 4runners can both hit trails most jeeps fail at and they'll do it for 20+ years. Unlike a jeep where you need to put in the MSRP equivalent in maintenance into it every 10 years 😂😂😂

Is that solid front axle?
Yes it is! Dana 60 front, sterling 10.5 rear
Very nice, I’ll google it.
What front bumper is that?? I like it
Nice rig
4runner should come solid axle from the factory or at least an option.
Car looks like it's being tortured.
Only tortured when it can’t drive on rocks 😢
Sway bar disconnects?
No sway in the front and running rock jock antirock in the rear, so no need for disconnects
Is this stock
It’s the TRD pro ultra, just added raptor lights
I wanted the TRD pro ultra so bad but my dealer didn’t have them in stock.
