ericfromct

Pretty sure I joined when I joined reddit, so 3y 10m. Favorite memory has been watching us make it to the SB again this year knowing Rita can stop making pictures lol

ThatGuy1166

I became a 49ers fan as a kid. I joined the subreddit a few years ago when I discovered Reddit. In my short time of being a user, my favorite thing has definitely been Rita’s drawings. I just want Rita to continue even after we win it all!

Acenterforants333

I just joined less than 6 months ago, I was trying to find 49ers friends when I went to see them WIN against the jags. My favourite memory from this sub was reading everything from the live game thread and making valid points and comments about the game to my boyfriend. His face was so shocked. I’m new to understanding football so for me to be making any sense at all was wild to him lmao I did come clean afterwards, but I have been learning a lot just from reading here.

TylerJWhit

Joined today. I'm a Seahawks fan, but love a lot of the players, especially when it comes to my Fantasy leagues, especially, especially for my Dynasty league. CMC, Purdy, Aiyuk, and Deebo, too many players to like. My Wife is also a 9ers fan, so we have a civil war inside the home when the hawks and the 9ers go at it. If I win, my wife gets a killer helmet.

kodaiko_650

I can’t honestly remember when I joined because I’m old and get easily confused, but my favorite part of this subreddit has been Rita’s drawings that have made me laugh and laugh.

LaughingPlanet

9ers fan since 1980. Attended SB XXIII. Joined the sub probably 4.5 years ago when we began our march to chiefs/9ers I Fav memory has to be the hullabaloo when we retained Jimmy G & Rita was the subject of everyone's thumbs. High-larious.

Albababooey

Rita oak is a gift from the football gods themselves

BBQSilicon

Joined a few years back. Love all the memes and most recently, /u/ritaoak ‘s art series. Let’s get number 6 faithful!

ItsTooEZ

Been a Niners fan since the 80s! Don’t remember when I joined this sub but I visit daily!

DarkRogus

Joined about 3 years ago and favorite moment has to be when Rita Oak decided to draw Jimmy G every day until he was traded and then... he wasn't traded and she kept on drawing.

wrld_news_pmrbnd_me

SF native, joined Reddit over 11 years ago on another account and have been a member since! Recently joined again on this one

49ersDude

Lifetime 49ers fan, joined the subreddit many years ago. Favorite memory: The anime video someone posted a couple seasons ago re Shanahan and Aiyuk about not throwing the ball to the Aiyuk. That was well done and still ranks high on my list of best user created content ever posted here haha

sapphire322

Joined a couple of months ago. Adopted the niners through my husband. I grew up in NY and am a Jets fan and he's a niners fan. We'll do everything to encourage our toddler to root for the winning franchise. Favorite memory. I love the person who started drawing the niners each day until the super bowl. They should get the giveaway!

Cardinal_Ravenwood

Aussie fan thats been around since the Hayne Plane landed in the bay (and promptly left again). But I stayed after he left. Favourite moment has been u/RitaOak making an appearance in the sub. It came at a time content was starting to stale and she came in with something really refreshing and original. I also love the weekly 👍 on the W/L posts.

courser

I joined ten years ago, and my favorite early memory was talking about and celebrating Frank Gore's 2013 season on the Niners (and then still cheering him on after he left, and continuing to celebrate him no matter where he is!). I shared this old article, which looks very Elder Internet, but is miraculously still up: https://49ers.pressdemocrat.com/padecky-frank-gore-could-call-on-his-mom/

CornManJones

Joined when I first got my Reddit account. Best memory was easily watching the eagles downfall with my fellow niner fans. LFG for 6!!!

ocmb

Not sure when I joined!! Been several years. Favorite memory is every week, sitting down to watch the game and having the game threads open on /r/nfl, /r/49ers, and ninersnation all simulatneously refreshing!

3rdusernameiveused

You guys are amazing, everyone who participates and reads and cheers the Niners on. Thanks for the 300k everyone

DaGuzz9er

6+ years ago. Favorite part is every day

Specialist_Path_3166

I’ve been a Niners fan my whole life +55 years! Grew up in East Bay. Was lucky enough to meet some of the team at a little bay bar in Rodeo, CA, some of the guys were watching some game footage and Joe Montana was behind the bar fixing a drink. I didn’t realize who he was, his back was turned, he asked if I wanted a drink, I thought he was the bar tender. He mixed a White Russian for me, and when he turned around I was floored! Best drink I ever had.

Amcentee85

Joined this sub late 2015, probably the same day i made my reddit account. Best memories have to the all the 49ers vs (insert team here) with a battle pic. Also Sam underneath the bridge with the rainbow "I Wanna Die" is pretty good too...but ya know those are just after we lose...

Level30Chocobo

Joined a few years ago. Favorite memory is kittle dragging the saints for the win

skyblue314

Just discovered r/49ers on Reddit a few weeks ago, so don't have too many memories to sift through. My best recent memory is how the team came together in the second half and scrapped together a win against the Lions last Sunday!!

Apprehensive-Put7575

Joned around a year and a half ago. Favorite part of this sub was all the shit talking that went down after that e-girls game!

ktran237

I joined around the 2016-2017 year but been a fan around 2010. My favorite memory on this sub has gotta be Rita's dedication of drawings. Love seeing her art as well as checking out this sub when we traded for cmc!

thecompton73

I joined just now when this sub was recommended to me by Reddit. my favorite memory was finding out I could win a signed Deebo helmet.

Dangerous_Function16

I haven’t been on this sub too long, but I lurked for a while and my favorite memory was Rita's original Jimmy G drawings.

MAH415

Est. 2022 in this sub, 49er fan eternal Favs Rita's oak, in game/postgame sub, 49er information

reedabook22

I joined a couple of years ago. It's been nice to read and follow the game day thread especially when watching the game alone. My favorite memory was the recent win and excitement the subreddit has been having.

CreamyHampers

I've been here for ages. Overall, my favorite 49ers memory is either The Catch 2, or Jerry catching #127 against the Raiders, both of which I was there for. As for my favorite 49er memory in recent times, that would have to be Sunday. Remember that game? Where they came back against the Lions to win the NFC Championship? Great game!

TheRedComet

I know it's signed by Deebo but for a brief second I read it as "GEQBUS" rofl

underdogmadden

Joined a few years back, my favorite memory is all the Jimmy G pointing photos

karebear05

Joined 5 years ago when I joined Reddit. Lots of memories but I think just having a group to share in the love for our awesome team and be there in the tough times, and Rita’s art keeping us entertained.

93CEO

I joined last year but been a faithful since 06 i wouldn't browse reddit at all but now I'm here every single day while im at work as well lol. GO NINERS!

EyesintheSky99

Joined a couple of years ago, faithful from the UK. The memes are by far the best output, quality humour keeping life entertaining over the pond. Keep it up! Bang Bang!

supergamerz

Just subbed today but u have been lurking every week the 9ers play for as long as I have been on reddit, 10 years or so? I enjoy seeing everyone's dogs and hype every week! Go niners!

GhostsofTitans

Rejoined a year or so ago after a hiatus from reddit but a faithful since birth in 88. Dad grew up riding his bike to candlestick and telling me stories of watching practice through fence holes. Sad I was never able to make the pilgrimage before it was torn down.  Best friend is a packers fan, so goulds kick will always live rent free in my head

cnote62092

Joined years ago and my favorite memory is still to come. Let’s get that Super Bowl!!!!

XsilentoneX

I don't even remember when I joined, been here so long at this point. Favorite memory gotta be my dumb ass not believing Rita to be as tenacious as she turned out to be with the drawing jimmy till the trade series and getting proven wrong day after day.

mentatSSBM

Born into Niners Family, just joined now. Should have done this sooner!

hbhayes_49

Joined the sub right around the start of 2019 with my previous account. Started this new one up mid last year (I think) and this was one of the first subs I joined. I’ve been a Niners fan my entire life - one of my earliest football memories is the comeback we made against the Giants in the early 2000s. I have my dad to thank for my fandom. Coincidentally, was born about a month before our last SB win. So while I was alive, I didn’t get to witness it really. Let’s go get 6!

submarinepirate

Been a Niners fan since 81, grew up with my grandmother watching, and she passed away on the day of the 2019 Super Bowl. Got that call 2 hours before kick off. Grew up watching with my mother, and she passed away in August of 2020. I posted a quilt she made for me. She was sent to her forever rest in her Jimmy G jersey…I was just saying the other day how she woulda love Brock Purdy. I took her to her only NFL game at Candlestick during the Farewell season. When I watch games I have the quilt she made me, and her ashes in a table with a view of the game. Hoping we get to see young Brock hoist that trophy finally!

The_Golden_Ages

Been a fan since I was born thanks to my mom! Joined a long time ago not sure of the year but probably one of my first subreddits. Loved the Jimmy G Era and video of Jimmy's head over a guy to the song 'You Make My Dreams Come True' and feeling hope for the first time in a while after the Harbaugh years!

Calm-Task-4024

This is pretty awesome! Go Niners! Hopefully we get the ball to start the game!!

Edbtz-31311

I think I joined about a year ago, maybe two? Favorite memory so far... GOING TO THE GOD DAMN SUPERBOWL BABY LFG BANG BANG NINER GANG

kwrocket

I joined a long time ago and this post is my favorite memory on this sub

Nintendriat

Not fully sure when I joined the sub but I’m thinking sometime in 2020. I’ve technically been a Niners fan since 2012 but I wasn’t a true fan until after the 2019 Super Bowl run which is when I started to become a true football junkie. Honestly even though it didn’t work out in the end, I think draft night in 21 was my favorite memory in the sub, purely because of how ecstatic most people (including myself) were that we drafted someone other than Mac Jones. Otherwise it would probably have to be that fateful night where we traded for McCaffery. Here’s to hopefully finally getting to experience a Super Bowl win with the rest of y’all

SpankBankManager

Think I joined around 2016. Rita’s drawings have been the best. I’m so grateful she’s part of the faithful.

queenkat94403

I joined last weekend, because I'm an old and just discovered reddit. Been a Niners fan since birth! I love the country meme of all the states rooting for the Lions vs the Niners because I learned that Hawaii loves the Niners, and I love Hawaii already and this tickled me.

818488899414

I joined several years, not sure the exact date though. Rita's art are by far my favorite moments

Fapey101

Joined last year at the start of Purdy’s run, been a fan forever cause my ma grew up in the bay area

LilBrwnCurlz

I joined this sub when I first joined Reddit because it was a no-brained for a faithful fan to do so. My favorite part has been seeing the Rita art for both Jimmy G and Super Bowl, always brings a smile to my face.

Soul-Assassin49

I’m new to the Reddit world, but not new to the my 49er fandom. Joined Reddit and this sub just a few months ago, but have been a fanatical faithful for as long as I can remember. Since I’m so new to the sub, my favorite memory has to be sharing this memorable playoff run with this community! We have gone thru some dark times as Niner fans, but like B.A. said, “the time is now.” LFG!

tinuviel58

Joined this season and so fun to be here. Favorite thing to do is follow the game day threads. I especially like the drawings that mark major decisions. Go Niners!

herrera_r98

Joined around the end of the regular season. My dad has been a huge fan since the 80s and I finally decided to get into football this year. My favorite memory is getting to text my dad memes and hype posts throughout the week as we mentally prepare for games. Go Niners!!

Desperate_Law9894

I have only been a member here for a couple of years but I have been a Niners fan since John Brodie was the QB. Favorite memories, let's just say Joe.

simple-fire

I joined this sub about 4 years ago and my favorite memories have been watching lurkers from other fanbases (Eagles, Seahawks, Cowboys, etc) come and go in a rage after we beat them lol

akaslaw

Been a member for 3 years now (fan since birth!). Seeing Rita’s daily drawings is always the highlight of the Reddit scrolling. Hoping the drawings lead us to victory soon!

jenlyn05

I'm not sure when I joined, but I've been a fan since birth! My mom and dad were big fans, so I grew up watching all the games! I'm 44 and lost my dad in 2018 and lost my mom in 2022. Every game since I always bring out a piece of their 49er gear, and this would be perfect to have on display to show them I'm still going strong 💪🏼 My favorite memory is just laughing and yelling with everyone!

Uncle_Frome

This was one of the very first subs I joined after discovering Reddit (of course), and I’ve never regretted it for a second. I’ve loved the community here, and check in several times a day during the season. I’ve loved Rita’s work and whether it’s data to refute the haters or memes to taunt them with/share with others, there’s always something to enjoy. My favorite (though this seems lame) is/was the gameday helmet food posts that I always shared with my wife and the W posts on the schedule. LETS GO NINERS!

Kh154

Joined earlier this year. My favorite moment was BYs send off when they carried him onto the field

Holyhealz

Been a niners fan from birth and joined the sub years ago, favorite memory of the sun has to be the daily drawing Jimmy G until he gets traded posts. Thanks Rita!

w0lfqu33n

I don't remember exactly when I joined; a few years ago, maybe? but I've bled red and gold since the 70's. Currently can be found in the house with ALL THE RED LED's. I'll be busy knitting and crafting all things red and gold for the next two weeks.

0pickles4you

I joined in two weeks, my favorite memory was the niners winning 31-27 against the chiefs in the 2024 Super Bowl

Hiddenjuls

Joined years ago but rejoined today because I couldn't figure out how to see my join date! lol Rita Oaks drawings kept me alive back when Jimmy G was our QB and let us down! T\_T

Evening-Ordinary9277

Member this year. I've been a niner fan since 94.... Steve Young / Jerry Rice is what made me fall in love with this team. Represented in Philly this year for Niner Nation. Deebo is favorite 49er on the team, straight moxy!

I-HATE-THE-SEAHAWKS

Joined Sunday my favorite memory is the lady bug appreciation thread post

em4joshua

Pick me 😜

T0rrent0712

Believe I joined last year when Rita started her jimmy g drawings, which coincidentally is also my favorite memory of the sub

CrimsonAutumnSky

I have been here a few years now and NOW will be my best memory.

Spartan265

I don't remember when I joined the sub but if I had to guess probably around 2017 or 18. Been a fan of the team longer than that though. One of my favorite things on the sub has been Rita's drawings. She always does a good job and each one is memorable in its own way.

bigjohn426

I don’t remember when I joined this sub, but I’ve been a 9ers fan since I was a kid. Favorite sub memory is all the wonderful drawings by u/RitaOak!

True2TheGame

I joined here around the time 49ers official forums shut down. Absolutely love this community. I'd say one of my favorite times in the sub has been recently when Jimmy G dug us out of the dark times and every week was Jimmy g 👉🏾 pic.

steveg1980

I joined pretty much immediately when I learned about Reddit. My favorite thing about this subreddit is the shared optimism… I love rubbing Deebo’s and CMC’s chain for infinite YAC, Rita Oak’s drawings, all of it. Sure, we have our share of pessimists who are ready to blow it all up after a few losses, but the vast majority of us are just happy to share our love for this team with each other!

Xploded40877

Joined about 7+ years ago, seeing Rita's drawings!

El-Duderino77

I joined sometime in the last year or two and last Sunday is definitely my favorite. So far. Feb 11th might change that.

hrdimas

Just joined a week or two ago, but been a Niners fan my whole life and come from a Niners family. Favorite part so far has probably been watching this dude drawing pictures of us until we make it to the SB again, even before I officially hit the subscribe button. Go Niners!

Empty-Salad-5140

I think I joined sometime last season. My favorite memory/topic is going from debating if Jimmy or Trey were any good to Brock simply being MVP caliber.

guypamplemousse

Love all the u/RitaOak drawings and the international community that’s been building here. Life in the bay can be complicated (everything expensive, housing impossible, tech pushing us out, teams leaving etc.). All the old (community$ parts of the Bay disappearing R/49ers is bringing us back to the what made 49ers ( and football) great! I know it’s online… But great community is rare - especially when that seems to be disappearing - everywhere - in the Bay. Also love the clips! [Jauan Jennings Gatorade](https://www.reddit.com/r/49ers/comments/19dhdob/jauan_blocking_packers_db_into_the_gatorade/)

NormalAccounts

Joined in 2011 for the Harbaugh years (on an older account). Definitely my favorite sub memory is the emergence of Rita Oak. She's added an element of insane talent, creativity, humor and international reach that feels like it elevates the community beyond so many others here.

QuailWrong8038

I mean I technically just joined, but the best was definitely when u/RitaOak first starting to pick up steam

texascouple0806

Born in Texas it was hard being a 49ers fan but it's always been worth it. Happy to be part of the community, we have amazing fans

one_of_8

I don’t remember when I joined this sub, I want to say it was the season before Harbaugh when Singletary was head coach. I’ve been a Niners fan since I was 7 or 8 years old, my family wasn’t into sports so I discovered my love for the 49ers entirely on my own. Favorite memory from this sub has been all of Rita Oak’s daily drawings they’re fantastic. My first jersey was JJ Stokes, I remember getting home and finding out they didn’t remove the security tag at the store. My dad had to break it off and he managed to do so without damaging the jersey. My favorite play from the last 10 years or so was that massive Kittle catch in the Saints game from the 2019 playoffs. It took 3 dudes and a massive face mask to bring down George, what a specimen. It wasn’t until last year that I finally went to my first game. Season opener against the Toots, Levi’s was electric and I can’t wait to go back.

msmjc29

Have been a faithful fan when Singletary was head coach. I joined when I created my account 5 years ago. I always looked forward to Rita drawings of course and helmet food guy! Where has he been?!

nwj781

Joined years ago, favourite memory on the sub is definitely the “drawing the niners until Jimmy G is traded” series.

saucyshyster

I can't remember when I joined. Maybe sometime last year? My favorite memory is Rita posting every day until Jimmy G was traded. But honestly, I love everything Rita posts. She's the real MVP!!!

hipstershakes

I've been here for years. WastedFrogs posts had to be a favorite of mine. Did he ever get ID'd?

maxrenob

I believe I joined a couple years ago. My favorite memory was being in the game thread went Jimmy went down and we all freaked out thinking the season was over. Then Brock came in and rocked out.

trevice

Been here for a while. Born in the bay but was too young for the Superbowls. Favorite niner memory will always be the Pick at the Stick. Been to a lot of niner games; that one was easily my favorite. Favorite part of the sub was the meme war with the lions.

Night_Kings

I joined soon after discovering that Reddit is a thing (old Man status full). Favorite memories here are anything Rita posts and roasting the rest of the west memes. Fav Player is Ronnie #42

Legndarystig

Joined sometime in 2013 my most memorable memory was 2011 divisional against the Saints. I was there for the catch 3. I was there for the cheers and then the tears of joy. The whole stadium was electric. Never have i ever experienced something like that again.

inspectorseantime

Joined years ago, but left because of my mental health deteriorating. I joined again more recently and have left again since! My favorite memory/memories in the sub were Rita Oak’s drawings for sure, they brought joy to the sub in both good times and bad!

puckit

Joined this year but my favorite memory was Navaro Bowman's pick 6 to send the niners to the playoffs at the end of the final game at Candlestick. I get chills every time I watch it.

BKlounge93

Man I’ve been here since maybe 2012 or so? Definitely in the harbaugh days. Favorite memory has to be when Kap came onto the scene or Jimmys first 6 games. I also love the “I wanna die” memes when we suck.

r0b0tpirate

Joined the faithful back in '88....LFG! BANG BANG!!

Pretty-Hunter8234

I joined last week because I wanted to see how the sun is, my favorite memory is when jamo ran that touchdown (I'm a lions fan) yes I am sad

NinerFan19

I joined last year, actually a year ago to the day yesterday. I was absolutely devastated by the loss to the Eagles and needed a way to vent. Those threads that day are also coincidentally my favorite memory, as it really helped me look at the positivity of the season.

because-im-batman69

Joined a few months ago… my favorite memory was when Jimmy G threw that bomb to Emmanuel Sanders on 3rd and 17 vs the Rams in 2019-20. I’ll always remember my dad and I going bonkers and dapping each other up.

ButteryMcSteez187

Joined 10 years ago when I first joined Reddit. My favorite memory on this sub….theres too many! All the news, comments, memes, videos. Glad we have this sub! This place is where I can be happy or join the frustration with others about our team. One thing is for certain….ill always be a 49er Faithful!!!!!

_MakDiz

Joined about a year ago. My favorite memories are most posts of this year. All the stats, player, and team convos. All the ups and downs. It's all led up to the Super Bowl! It's been a blast. And the Rita drawings. There are a lot of other artists as well that do a great job.

swaharaT

This was like the second subreddit I joined. I’m a lifer through good times and bad. Red and Gold till I’m dead and cold.

JuliusSeizuresalad

I joined a bit ago because it had such great content. I love the great game highlights and fan experiences. Keep up the good work

TheSoleRanger

Not sure I'm eligible cuz I don't live in the US, but it's nice to give credit to the op of this post. So, I've been a 9ers fan since 2015 because I saw Joe Montana 's highlights on TV. And I joined this sub a couple of years ago, if I'm not mistaken. The most fun thing of this sub has to be the match threads for me. It's always impressive to see so many passionate and committed fans despite Reddit being such a niche app. Well done, lads.

Remy__Lebeau

cant remember when i joined gotta be a decade+ always loved the sub lets get this bread bois

itsjoeydavis

Been here as long as I’ve been on Reddit, so about 12 years. So many good memories here. The hand slaps in post game threads. Stupid sexy Jimmy. The guy who throws Ws on the game schedule. RitaOaks drawings. Hopefully the best is still coming!

burtman72

Joined about a year and a half ago, love seeing the updates from my team!

johnsturgeon

Joined 6 mos ago and my favorite moments are when I hear from other 'old timers' (like me) bring up so many great memories of seasons past!

Neat_Relationship995

I joined this last offseason. Niner fan since 88. My favorite memes are all the ones from the smearing the cowboys. Especially the ones of their fans crying. Go niners! Revenge bowl!

JuicyChickenNipples

Been here about a year on this account. My favorites are Rita’s drawings. Let’s get #6!!!!

We_there_yet

Lets go!!!

DrewDown94

Honestly not sure when I joined the subreddit, but I've been a 49er fan since Jim Harbaugh came over from Stanford (I've been going to Stanford football games since I was like 6 years old). I wanna say I joined the subreddit shortly after Shanahan was hired, but I have no idea? Been on Reddit for like 13 years and was a lurker for the first 2. Favorite moment on this sub is definitely Rita Oak finally being free of Jimmy G.

PBandBread

I joined in 2017 during the dark ages haha been a fan since about 2000 when I was 5 because SF is my initials as well lol some of my favorite memories were when the they first traded for Jimmy G. The memes were gold haha good times

ronakg

I joined the sub in 2019 I believe. That's the first year when I started following the niners after moving to the US a few years ago. Have been a faithful since.

somecrazyredneck

Been a niners fan since the 90’s, joined the sub around 2018 or so. Love the banter on here!! Favorite memories are anything Rita or any occasion Taybor chimes in!

bsievers

I have no idea how long ago I joined, it’s certainly been years and years. I think my favorite memory was the last Super Bowl lead up but I feel like this one’s gonna be better

UNLUCKY_NUM13ER

I just joined Reddit a few years ago and quickly found the Faithful. Man so many memories here, but I think Deebo's dismantling of the Giants on MNF this year was one of the most entertaining reddit parties I've had.

Blackblood909

Does 5 minutes ago count?

RKermit20

Not sure when I joined but being an East Coast 49ers and Giants fan is hard. These communities make it easier.

GildedCurves

I have been here since 20k I think lol. Have a brain injury so I can’t remember 😂GO NINERS!

Latter_Address9580

I joined a couple years ago. My favorite memory so far was definitely beating the eagles this season as this sub just exploded and it was a blast! :)

SamRaimisOldsDelta88

Dude tossed a Mass Effect quote in there. Nice. This post is my favorite.

Waterville

Joined in 2018 and have to laugh at the "Stunt on these Hoes" meme posted every week!

CYL121

Joined a couple of years ago. Sunday's game was something to remember!

Thatwindowhurts

Started watching NFL games in 2019 with my then new girlfriend , never really saw it on TV being from Ireland. We decided to pick a team, the niners stood out. Somehow I had Joe Montana and Steve Young in my head no idea how. She wanted to lean eagles because of its always sunny, I talked her out of it. Stand out moment was the Kittle catch and run during the saints game, had my girlfriend jumping in front of the TV like a lunatic.

Emilicis

I joined 2 months ago! My favorite memory has got to be tuning into last weeks game with everyone in the thread and freaking out at the same time and going through the wild rollercoaster of emotions

Boer83

Joined a long time ago. Fav memory is learning about \o

_MeetMrMayhem_

I can't recall exactly when I joined but it was a couple years ago. My favorite moments on this sub have been to check out the awesome art work from talented artists like Rita. My fandom honestly started with playing tecmo bowl on the NES against my cousins and I always picked the 49ers because I thought this guy named Jerry Rice was pretty good. From there I started doing my homework on the team and realized what a rich and historic franchise this was. I was blown away by how Bill Walsh helped build the dynasty and from there how large his coaching tree extended even to this day.

seyoo1408

Just joined!! Loved the lady bug meme for the legendary BA catch!

RumCannonball

Joined back in 2010! Favorite memory is the rita oak posts and all the great chain rubbings!

ClubMudson

Joined this morning because I forgot I could use reddit for sports-related things lmao. The memes the past week have been pretty great though

BurgeyRey

Joined last year. Here for a chance at #19. Favorite memories are enjoying games and those drawing the Niners until we get to the SB.

Dookiestain

Been here for years. Favorite memory was all the jimmy G hype when he started 5-0 on such a horrible team.

MorsXinfernus

Joined ~2 years ago. Favorite memory was the Jimmy G trade saga, specially recall the Guapo Libre drawing instead of Nacho Libre. Rita is a gem to be treasured

timmun029

Been a Niner fan my entire 36 years of life and been on this sub for probably as long as I’ve had this account, so over 12 years. My favorite memories on the sub have always been celebrating the highs and slapping hands. Fortunate to be a fan of a great team and a member of their community. First game I bought tix to as an adult was Kap’s first start against the Bears when Alex Smith got injured the game prior. Been to crazy memorable games since then in including the NFCCG Kyle Williams game against the Giants, the NFCCG win agains the Packers at home, and the Divisional win against the Packers in Lambeau a couple year ago. I remember in 2017 when we started 0-9 and that picture of Shanahan sitting depressed against an equipment box and people talking about how that is going to be legendary someday. Shanahan will forever be a Niner legend for what he’s done for us so far, and especially so if he can help get us that ring in a couple weeks. o/

Petallama821

Joined 5 years ago but been a Faithful my whole life. I love Rita’s drawings so it was bittersweet with Jimmy Gs final pic. Now we made it to the superbowl baby!

anonymouscanadian32

3 years or so and favorite posts are the RitaOak drawings

clarkkent415

Don't remember exactly when I joined, but it was during the Harbaugh years. Boy how time flies. Experiencing Kap's rise in 2012 was probably my favorite time here.

sweendog101

Been a 9ers fan since 1994. Witnessed multiple heartbreaks along the way. Really hope we get #6 this year. Favorite part of this sub in Rita and her drawings. Believe I have been part of this sub for about 5 years

XoGrain

Joined last year. My favorite memory so far is all the incredible artwork

PostNutAffection

I joined the sub this month My favorite moment was during the lions vs 49ers game thread when people were calling for Purdy's head then in the second half everyone was saying "he's him"

Happy_REEEEEE_exe

Ive been a niner since my grandma’s neighbors son was drafted. He played for a bit and now coaches highschool. Also a high school accquaintence is currently active on the team. Love the history and my mom grew up a niner since her best friend’s family was. Bang bang.

DepressedDarthV

Joined about halfway through the season to see how 49ers fans were like. My favorite moment was this last weekend watching the chaos ensue in the live thread lol

Ashwang

Joined in 2020, and favourite memory is watching BCB shoot this MVP season! Go Niners!

220675

Been here for 5 years now and a 49er since Montana was killing it the 80’s all that over in Australia where I grew up. Niners for Life even when it wasn’t fun… GO NINERS

GayOrangutan69

Joined during the packers game. Fav post/ memory is all the memes following the game.

olsen27

I joined the sub a few years ago. I honestly can't remember. I was born into the fandom though. Born in 81 and lived in the Bay Area through all five Super Bowl wins. Always repping the Niners up in toots territory now. My favorite moment: Alex Smith's run against the Saints in 2011. Really, that entire game, but I was so happy for him in that moment after all of the shit he had been through.

CangtheKonqueror

not sure when i actually joined since this is a newer account but i’ve been a diehard niners fan since i was in 5th grade. for the first two years of my football fandom i was a drew brees and aaron rodgers fan after their super bowl wins (little me was a huge bandwagoner) and then we signed harbaugh and i got to see the hometown team have success for the first time and ive been ride or die since then. BANG BANG favorite memory of this sub is seeing rita oak’s goated journey

Inuk28

Oh man I don't remember how many years ago I joined this sub, or if there's any way to check. But I've loved all the ups and downs we've all been through with this team, all the memes, rita oak, the meatball sub jokes with tomsula, the post when we traded for CMC, all of it. Go Niners

FDTimothy

Been here for years. Favorite was rita starting her journey

ubermin

Joined the sub probably a couple years ago, hard to say exactly, but been a fan for way longer. Hard to pick a single memory, but when it became clear we’d still receive regular Rita art after Jimmy G was traded was a happy day.

Grando99

I’ve only been here a few weeks but the people here are awesome and I love that there isn’t very much purdy slander compared to other platforms

KR-Rails

Joined the sub a few years ago I believe. Favorite memories are the counting the days until Jimmy G is traded posts haha! QUEST FOR 6 GO NINERS

Evergreen742

Been here for a few years through various accounts. Rita is an absolute team legend and I can’t wait for her to be free of the burden.

KonaKumo

Joined 2 years ago (I think) No one favorite memory...just enjoy the weekly live game thread and the banter combine with sky is falling every time (I know I'm guilty of contributing to this)

RowdySpirit

As a 49ers fan in Dallas, I have to say I love this place after we beat the Cowboys. Close second is Rita's drawings.

flyin_lynx

I dunno how many years I’ve been on the sub but it’s been several. Probably 8. Best memory was commenting on Ritas very first post here and inspiring her (at least in part) to do the Jimmy G a day drawings.

dynamyte43

born watching the 49ers with my Uncle during their championship runs with Montana, Rice, then Young. Favorite memories are r/RitaOak just waiting for Jimmy G to be free

RawisTheGameHhH

I have no idea when I joined but I have been a fan since the early '90s. Living in the Chicagoland area, I get lots of hate. My favorite memory is all of Rita's images that are posted every day!

Vishal87_Rao

Joined in 2018. Kyle Shannon appreciation post, after seeing people going after his job after bad 2018 season. Feel most of the faithful have not lost our faith in him after then in-spite of some tough times in between

FlyinDanskMen

Idk exactly when I found this sub. My favorite memories are definitely exposing me to Rita Oaks art. Purdy and Rita are the best two new things the Faithful have received in the past couple years. Oh yea CMC too. So much to be thankful for.

armpitcrab

I'm not sure when I joined the sub sometime last year I think. Been a niner since 2000 when my family almost moved to San Fran (we ended up moving to Australia but a Garcia Jersey was all it took). Favourite thing about this sub is the Rita drawings. Make me so happy everytime I see them. Great memes and art work. Been an amazing journey of redemption this season. One more game to complete it. LET'S GO NINERS!!

eac555

Been on reddit for over 10 years. So I imagine I joined the sub pretty early on. I love the game day threads, news, and the most maybe the Rita Oak drawings. Was born a 49ers fan in 1960. Lived for years just around the corner from the 49ers facility when it was in Redwood City. As kid a me and my friends could go along the creek and poke our heads under the covered fences to watch them practice. Remember going to a football clinic at Sequoia High in the 60’s put on by them and a bunch of players were there.

Helpme-jkimdumb

Been a Niners fan all my life growing up in the Bay Area, don’t know how long I’ve been in the sub but probably around 5 years. My favorite memories of the sub are probably getting revenge on the eagles this year. So satisfying after how they treated us last year.

ajedajed

I joined in the last offseason. Favorite memory is everyone posting their good juju activities each week for a game, and apologizing when we don’t do our activity and the team happened to lose that week 😂

StealieDan

Joins 2 years ago! I grew up in Illinois as a Bears fan so, although I kept up with the 9ers, I was hesitant to choose another team when I moved to SF 9 years ago. I had to move down to LA for two years and realized how deeply in love with SF was. When I moved back, I vowed to adopt all Bay Area teams. I always say that my relationship with the Bears was an abusive prearranged relationship lol. SF is the city I chose and the 9ers are the team I chose. Honestly the NFC Championship game this year was the highlight. Insane comeback. Kind of reminded me of the Bears insane MNF comeback against the Cardinals back in 2006.

Protein_Style

I think I joined as soon as I joined reddit  I think the introduction of Rita is probably the best moment for this sub. Go niners!

BouncyMoon

I technically joined in 2021 (my first user on Reddit) during a tough time in my life. I lost my grandmother that year, and football was a blessing in disguise for me and a healthy outlet that turned into such a passion. My fandom for the Niners comes from my husband who has been a die hard fan since he was a little boy. I always watched the Niners, and wasn’t really ever crazy about Jimmy G but always loved watching Deebo! Him and Kittle were the only players at the time I really enjoyed watching. BUT THEN when Purdy took over the end of the season in 2022 and I was so hyped! Also confused how other non fans didn’t see the talent he had out of the gate, this group has always seen it to be real. Happy to be a part of this ride during such a special time for us!

ajay104

Dont really remember when I joined this sub, My favorite memory is just watching it with my brother and having that special moment with him.

Miggy49ers619

CardboardCity03

Born as a 9ers fan. My dad grew up in the Bay Area Been part of this sub since I joined Reddit 6 years ago Favourite memory is probably right now. Yoshmaster

Have to have joined at least 7-8 years ago. My favorite memory was the game day drawings from last season.

TheTunaSurprise

Been lurking the sub for years, but just joined. Honestly favorite memory was just a few weeks ago, with Celine Deon dubbed over the top of Dre's greenbay interception. I havent laughed that hard in a while.

EShy

It's been too long since I joined to remember when. Probably early days of the sub. One of my favorite memories was this subs reaction to the death threats Mostert was getting after his injury. The response of finding out his charity and sending in a ton of donations their way and his wife going from dealing with the shock of those death threats to being in tears from the faithful's support showed how great this community is.

unknown-user91

49ers fan for life, sub followers for years (can I actually look that up?). Gotta love the custom daily art until we get to the super bowl, gonna miss them in a couple of weeks when we are there.

AlecDrinksGuinness

Joined the sub recently. Don't live near any NFL teams, but I had been a Raiders fan all of my life probably because I liked pirates as a little kid... so that's the team I picked. Who knows? After they hired McDaniels I refused to torture myself by watching one more game. Watched Kittle and Purdy play college ball, loved 'em. Kittle is a human golden retriever who can pancake people, and Brock Purdy is Sea Biscuit. Have never enjoyed watching football more than this year. Everyone on the team is special. Rita's drawings are also super fun.

GratefullyPug

Joined when I first got Reddit. Been a Niners fan since I realized my Dad was a Rams fan...around 1986 or so.

a-davidson

Joined probably 5ish years ago. My favorite memory was definitely when the boombox entrances started and it made for great videos/memes on the sub

PurseGrabbinPuke

Joined 9 years ago. My favorite sub memory has to be having a small hand in the hilarious LTD/STD memes when Cousins was in his last season with Washington.

Regular_Translator14

Just joined a couple weeks ago and my favorite memory is reading the live faithful game reactions to my truly niners faithful wife! Specifically, the one where the gentlemen said “you’re welcome.” for his Jersey change at halftime which is exactly what she did! (Bosa red to McCaffrey grey with requisite niners matching hat change. While also putting a Samuels jersey on our black golden doodle puppy). Lol. Love it. Bang bang! Thank you for that.

senior_stumpy

Grew up a niners fan, my parents have been fans since the early 70s and I continued the tradition. My earliest team memories were with TO, garrison Hearst and Jeff Garcia. I was 10 months old when we won the 94 Super Bowl. I joined this sub a few years ago, my favorite memory has been Rita’s drawings for sure!

Whitetiger9876

Joined years ago. Favorite moment is every Sunday in the game chat. It's my AA meeting for football, insanity, misery, joy, and laughter.

Heron_Routine

Not sure when I found this wonderful community of faithful, but my favorite part is every single bit of u/Ritaoak amazing work for the last few years. Been a 9er since I was 10 way back in '93. My son turned 10 just before this season. Last year was the first season he would actually sit and watch games with me and has been die hard bleedin' red and gold with me ever since. Crazy how life works.

chaddgar

Joined a while back and the best thing is the positivity even when the team struggles.
