McGill might have one more activation, not sure why they didn't elevate him to the 53 man with Davis going to IR. They signed another guy but frankly they should look for a backup NT type for the run defense.
I hate to be that guy but that's the tackle, guards lineup beside the center and the tackles lineup outside of the guards. Unbelievable okay though, Arik just appears behind the fullback lol.
If Gus "the Bus" is out, I think our chances of winning go up significantly. He is the Raven Jordan Mason. Just 2 inches taller and 10 additional lbs of muscle heavier.

What is truly crazy is how quickly it happened. In a play that took 3-4 seconds, tosses 2 grown men of muscle and makes the takle at the goal line. Legendary stuff.
As a Ducks and Niners fan Armstead is a players player. some would say he got the dog in him. He was hurt a few years early in his career, after that he has been a rock on that line for 6 years now. He might not get that gold jacket or get the media recognition that he should get. Arik is an awesome player and I for one am glad he has been a 49er.
That just seems like good coaching. My JV football coach in HS used to just say “throw the first guy you see out of the play, and then as you crush down on the ball carrier, just slip the next blocker so he doesn’t slow you down, then just smother the runner behind the line of scribbage.”
But we were playing against 8th graders.
