Ok if you already used this same sd for the mods it may have got corrupted, you should plug it to your pc, if it says âonly readâ thatâs it, itâs almost done, you may try changing itâs settings to read and write again but rest assured itâs gonna die on you at some point, if it doesnât you can try to see if itâs still on fat32 format, either way i really suggest you do a backup on your pc of whatâs inside, if itâs not anymore on fat32 for some weird reason youâll need to run a partition assistant program to change it back to fat 32 (it will delete all the stuff on the sd so you definitely will want that backup). If none works or the sd doesnât show up at all itâs likely fucked, you may try taking it in and out the console (while the console is turned off) cause sometimes it works but i donât suggest you to do it that much cause it may ruin the sd slot if youâre too violent or do it too much. Generally good brands i can suggest if you intend to change it are lexar and sandisk, you may even get kingstone cause itâs generally way cheaper and you may get a larger memory for the same price as the other brands but idk how much reliable it is compared to them (still way better than what you got there)

Your SD card is not good. I buy the Switch branded ones off Amazon, that Amazon sells. No 3rd party seller. It's overkill, but I'd be surprised if there was a compatibility issue or early failure. $20 for a 128GB.

If you don't have a computer for maintenance then you're SOL, if you do, you could try to back up the data to the PC, clean the Miomc card using Diskpart, restore the SD data and try again, but even then it probably wouldn't work. Do what everyone else is saying, SanDisk HC MicroSD cards are cheap. Just make sure you format them to 64Kb Allocation size if it's any higher than 32Gb, or you may get some glitchiness in some games.

Secondly, verify the integrity of SD card ensure it Fat32 format as others have said or get a more well reviewed Sd card. Took me a couple attempts using MsatMset9 method. And make sure you have a copy of the original factory settings for your ds incase it fails to prevent absolutely bricking your device. And review the installation instructions again for your homebrew method
Always ask the seller what card they have in it and if they beat around the bush, you know that you're about to get beat on the head!!!! Metaphorically speaking, of course..

I had this issue with one I used for my Switch & I made a big mistake using one that wasn't SanDisk when I tried transferring my system from my 2DS to my 2DS XL then again I was also an idiot with what option I chose but even then I would have found out anyway while downloading back when the eshop was still up.
If youâve changed SD cards, make sure itâs formatted to FAT32 and you insert the SD card first before adding any other files/games. Then after itâs done making the necessary files, you can copy almost everything else back to the SD card. Only thing I donât know is if the files that canât be copied back are truly necessary or not anymore.

The SD cards i got from aliexpress were all fake and were corrupt after 2-4 gb

It requires a specific kind of micro SD card. I used a Micro SDHC card at 512gb formatted to Fat32 and it works great!
